We wanted to create a B2B portal but it is very much limited to our enterprise customer. We also wanted to then provide B2B2C facility to our customer, so they become technology enabled.

Also, we are having big inventory which we need to manage in our warehouse, but we do required very customized PIM solutions so it can include product management, promotion management, image storage, and many others. It was web solution for our B2B customers and additional mobile application for our internal users.

We were dealing with Head of Department Mr. Saumil and then there were couple of other people under him. I have personally talked to the Saumil, QA people and design team.

Inventory loss decreased by 40%, my B2B partners got information in seconds which previously was taking days so it is saving their time and ultimately increased in sales.

They were good, I involved in the monthly demo meetings and then POC from our end was involved in daily or weekly calls.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Their understanding about our domain. We thought we would need to spoon feed a lot, but they did their homework very well.

I don’t see anything as of now.

Our company had quite a few issues on the production floor, including inventory management and accounting. We were growing and needed to automate quite a few things. We needed someone to design a system for us.

What was the scope of their involvement?

The technical requirements were done by my IT consultant along with Brainvire. The platform was intended mainly for inventory management and accounting. Brainvire developed the complete package for us. They consulted us on the best way to build it, and we went with that. The platform was developed in Odoo.

We started working with Brainvire in December 2019 or January 2020, and the platform was implemented in June 2020.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Our goal was to increase production efficiency. We’d had some issues ensuring material availability, and we always ended up ordering in a rush and paying more. Our efficiency has gone up by 40–50%, and inventory management is working well. We have sufficient raw materials on the floor now. We have 60–70 parts to manage, and we have no problems making them available to people in different departments. Implementing this software has eliminated a lot of our issues, and it was good value for money.

How did Brainvire Infotech Inc perform from a project management standpoint?

They kept regular communication with the people on my team, and they were courteous and happy to help. We asked them for multiple changes, and they were accommodating of those. I’d recommend Brainvire to anyone.

What did you find most impressive about them?

I can’t compare them to other providers, but the communication was good, and they met all of our requirements. As far as I’m concerned, that’s all that matters.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I would need to ask my IT consultant about that. In terms of my communication with Brainvire and the work they’ve done, I’m fully satisfied.

If the client explains to them what the needs are, Brainvire will come back with suggestions. They have a lot of experience in the manufacturing industry.

Brainvire’s ecommerce development team conducted a thorough analysis of our brand and audience. They created a Magento 2 ecommerce store with functionalities like third-party integrations. The ecommerce store has a fully responsive design that can be used on different devices. It eases category management and supports multiple product images with detailed product descriptions.

The store can manage several promotional and holiday discounts and schemes. The promotions are based on consumer data and website metrics. Brainvire’s team built the Magento store with a complete order management function that allows us to track order status in terms of packaging, loading, and delivery in real-time with ERP integration.

My store was connected to marketplaces like eBay, Etsy, and Amazon. They also added multilingual features to cater to a global audience. Additionally, they gave us a one-step checkout process, easy navigation for conversions.

We were assigned a dedicated account manager and project manager. The development and design team was assisted by the QA team to ensure the smooth functioning of the store.

The store looks faboulos and we hope to get a good start once we start the paid campaigns and marketing research.

They have a dedicated approach to project management. The account and project managers oversaw the entire development and team management process responsibly. We were given updates about every project milestone. The team is available for support anytime we need them.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Brainvire’s team completed our project right on time without any problems throughout the journey. The management and development teams are efficient and hardworking. They didn’t work with us as an agency but as our partners. They take deadlines very seriously and never fail to deliver. We are very happy so far working with their team.

Are there any areas for improvement?

It would have been great to see some Native people managing the project, but again we're really happy to see everything achieved at a pretty good cost.

They created a mobile-friendly store with a two-step checkout process, offering the best conversion rates. On the technical front, Brainvire’s Odoo customizations connect several channels like website, CRM, and ERP making data accessibility easy and reduces manual processing of information.

We were given two project managers. One for supervising the development and the other for the design and launch. There was a QA team involved too, which was responsible for fixing bugs and glitches.

Brainvire’s ecommerce development team has given us a well-designed and functional remedies. Since the launch in January 2020, our sales have doubled and we have seen a tremendous increase in online footfall.

Brainvire’s approach toward projects is systematic and hassle-free. The teams work like a well-oiled machine, and not like siloed departments. They were in constant touch with us throughout the development process, giving us timely updates and meeting deadlines. We have thoroughly enjoyed working with them so far.

We’re a private school that offers recovery and/or original credit to students to earn credit outside of their additional courses at school, so that they can either graduate on time or early. We also work with a rehab treatment center to help students keep up with their credits while they’re in our program. They sometimes graduate through us or go back home to finish there.

We were moving our database. We wanted to keep our information updated and simplify our processes.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Brainvire helped us program our Odoo database so that we’re now able to create assessments based on a student’s transcript. This is for our treatment center and adult-ed students whose class has already graduated, but they want to earn their adult high school diploma. We take their transcript, cross-reference it with what they’ve already earned and what’s required, and then determine what credits they need to earn through us to get that diploma. That was a difficult solution to come up with, but Brainvire was great at coming up with a plan.
We also contract with other schools, and we’re now able to create an invoice based off of the students we issued courses to or the number of students they sent to us. This has simplified invoicing, so we don’t have to go back-and-forth and cross-check everything.

Going into the partnership, we already knew what we were looking for. If we weren’t positive about how something would work or how to make it work, they were great at problem-solving. I’d let them know my idea for simplifying our processes, and they would come up with a great solution.

The quality of their work is great. They’re really quick at getting back to my colleague and me on any questions that we have or walking us step-by-step through processes that we don’t understand fully.

Our project manager is great; she’s helped a lot with any barrier issues we may have had. She’s also great about communicating terminology. She is very thorough on everything she does, from notes to understanding our processes. She’s been really great to work with.

We communicate through Skype, and we use Jira for feedback. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

Speaking from experiences with other programmers we’ve used to create a previous database, Brainvire was really quick to understand the process and what we wanted. They’re really proficient.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, I don’t have anything on that end.

Any advice for potential customers?

Have the processes mapped out so that Brainvire can see the flow of what they’ll need and processes that they can simplify. We brought a lot of our manual work to the table, and they were able to let us know what they could simplify on our end to make it automatic. Know the ins and outs of what each staff member does, what they need, and what manual stuff they might be able to simplify.

Working on an existing site is more difficult than building one from scratch because the provider needs to figure out what the previous developers did. Brainvire Infotech did a good job with that. The work they’ve done has had a big impact on the growth of our business. They’re also cost-effective. We’ve saved a lot of money working with them.

The team’s turnaround time is very fast. They’re very good in terms of project management. I send them job scopes by email. We also communicate through phone calls and WhatsApp. I mainly speak to their project manager.

What did you find most impressive about them?

We’ve been working with them for a long time now, and we’ve established a good relationship. Brainvire Infotech’s owner has come to our office a number of times, and we also get together at conferences. They stand out from other vendors through their relationship building and quality of work.

Are there any areas they could improve?

The challenge with overseas providers is that late noon for us is night time for them. If a major issue comes up, their developers may not react immediately. This is the only drawback I can think of.

Do you have any advice for future clients of theirs?

Be thorough with the job scope and define everything you need. The more detailed it is, the less back and forth there will be in conversations. It can be challenging to manage projects overseas, but the advantage is reduced cost. Brainvire Infotech is very good at delivering if the scope is laid out properly.

We had a project where we wanted to set up a web- and app-based platform for our customers to be able to place orders online or to book our services. 

We’re a very traditional company and most of the things were analog documented. The company’s operations weren’t prone to digitization, so we contacted Brainvire Infotech.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Brainvire Infotech educated us on how to introduce digitization into the functions and how different tools could be used and implemented in our company. They customized our WordPress platform to cater to not only the sale of tangible products, but also bookings of appointments. This part of the project was a little complicated, because we have two distinct hospitals with different models of operations, but they handled it well.

They had to integrate that to an application for iOS and Android — they developed the mobile apps too. The apps aren’t launched yet but they are in the go-live process and it should be done in a week or so.

My main point of contact is a project manager who’s been my contact throughout. He has a massive team that’s been on call with us for several meetings for presentations.

Brainvire Infotech is very professional, and they always work within the timeline. They’re really good with their work. Their quality of customization is top-notch. We needed certain functions to be created on WordPress or on the application that was customized to our functions. They were top-notch with that too.

I have no complaints with regards to their project management. When it comes to timelines, they’ve been spot on. There was maybe once or twice it was 1-2 days over but never more than that. We use email to stay in touch.

I’ve worked with a  couple of developers in the past for different companies and projects. What sets Brainvire Infotech apart is since there’s only one point of contact, everything that we discuss is noted down well and they delegate it within their team. As a client, I only care about the end result and I get that end result with Brainvire Infotech.

Are there any areas they could improve?

They could incorporate a team management software like Basecamp or Trello. That would make things easier to manage. Using only email has made it kind of difficult for me if I needed to check on a particular point.

Give the concept to them and tell them exactly what you want. Give them multiple reference sites, and make sure all the features and functions are included in the scope of work because you don’t want to run through it multiple times.

We informed them about what activities we do, what activities we plan to do, what kind of workflows we use for the members, what our e-commerce shop is going to look like with our merchandise, what the mode of payment collection will be, and what events we do on a weekly basis.

The CRM and website have good ease of use.  We have more than 500 members, and we get good feedback from them. Everybody appreciates their work. There were 1–2 issues at the beginning which they managed well, so it’s running smoothly now.

Project management was good, and they stuck to the timeline. If needed, they would even work on Sundays in order to stick to the timelines. They told us it would take 75–100 days, and we were live in 90 days despite some delays on our side and the fact that some of our key members weren’t available.

They were agile in understanding the overall workflow. The team was also flexible, professional, and accommodating, and they met additional needs quickly. Everything was well documented.

Brainvire Infotech had good technical skills. They could’ve helped more with the business analytic skills or maybe the business people from the subject matter perspective.

I highly recommend them to any organization. Make your timelines and needs clear. If possible, document the workflows of what you’re looking for. It will shorten the time period for them to implement. We didn’t document that, but Brainvire Infotech was still quite helpful in terms of documenting those workflows on our behalf.

Their communication is great. We looked at other vendors and their communication wasn’t so great. Brainvire Infotech’s project management is also good. They work in an agile environment as we do, and we get frequent status updates. In terms of communication, we use Jira, Skype, phone calls, and Zoom.

Communication is really important in the relationship, and Brainvire Infotech is good in this area.

They could have a better process of estimating projects. Sometimes they underestimate the time it takes to complete a project.

Make sure they have a feel for the team that they will work with. Interview the team to understand who you’d like to bring on board. They have a very large team to choose from.

We used to do our quotes by email for container load freight. We wanted to give our customers the ability to go online and get a quote rather than having them contact us by email.

Brainvire Infotech helped us develop a browser-based online application. They came in to understand our business first and then they had to understand the business need. They developed and delivered the online application in 3–4 months. The platform is a separate entity from our website.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

After the delivery of the application in July, we took another month or so to have it available to our customers. The product has reduced the volume of requests we get via email. The requests we’d get didn’t usually end up going anywhere anyway and we didn’t want to waste time on them.

How did Brainvire Infotech Inc perform from a project management standpoint?

I give them high marks for project management. Usually, when you do an implementation, there’s a lot of stuff that creeps up, or there’s something that hasn’t been considered and will cost extra money, or something that is going to take up a lot of time. 

From that perspective, they did pretty well by gathering all the requirements initially and trying to understand everything. We didn’t have too many setbacks. There were some minor ones but nothing major. The team didn’t have a project management tool where we could check the status of things; it was more of an informal call.

What did you find most impressive about them?

The biggest positive for me was the accessibility we had with the team. The primary contact was very flexible. I could always pick up the phone and speak to them. Brainvire Infotech felt like an extension of our team; they didn’t feel like an external team.

Are there any areas they could improve?

They could have done a better job of having formal updates on where things were going. Even though we were kept abreast of things and talked almost every day, it would have been nice to have a tool where we could see the status of each piece of the project.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Make sure you have one point of contact on the client side as well, which is what we had. It always works better when you have one resource from each team talking to each other rather than having multiple sources of information, which could increase the likelihood of things getting mixed up or lead to redundancy.
