Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the CIO for PogoBounceHouse, a company that sells inflatable and inflatable-accessory party and event rental equipment online. We also have a dedicated direct sales staff. We sell on our Magento platform as well as Wal-Mart and eBay.

What challenge were you trying to address with Brainvire Infotech Inc?
We had two significant challenges. The initial challenge was getting more of an omnichannel presence and bringing all of the ways we sold under one roof so that we could better manage our sales and get better metrics. Then, we had significant inventory challenges. We brought Brainvire on to help us with the omnichannel environment to better assist sales and inventory.

What was the scope of their involvement?
We began working with them in a digital marketing capacity to try them out. Once we saw that they did a good job with digital marketing, we expanded our scope with them.
Brainvire developed our website from scratch and migrated us from some other platforms we’d been using to Magento 2. They developed an opensource CRM for us and helped integrate Odoo as our ERP.
What is the team composition?
For each project, I had a single point of contact. For the Magento work, I worked with their program manager. I worked with Montu (Team Lead) on the CRM and then someone else on Odoo.
How did you come to work with Brainvire Infotech Inc?
Brainvire had a booth at one of the tradeshows or conferences I went to, and I started talking to them. What really impressed me about Chintan and his team was that they are always in the US. Even though we were going to do offshore for development, they had a significant presence in the US in terms of customer service, access, and problem-solving. The face-to-face with the members of that organization impressed me, as did their size; they’re a big company, and they’ve done a lot of impressive work.
How much have you invested with them?
We’ve spent $250,000–$300,000 over the four years.
What is the status of this engagement?
Our ongoing partnership began in August 2016.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
We’ve seen the impact of their service in a lot of ways. The way we measure the ROI with Brainvire is whether we have stock to sell and how much of it we’re selling online. We’ve calculated an overall company growth, but because we have a dedicated sales team and sell on channels that pretty much market themselves, we’ve really looked at the growth of online Magento sales. We’ve also looked at the growth of the dedicated sales team and income-producing activities since we integrated the CRM.
From an inventory ERP standpoint, we were constantly running out of stock before. We really measure our inventory analytics based on stockless and partial stock orders as a percentage of overall orders, and we’ve seen a steep decline in that since bringing Brainvire on to manage our ERP portion. We’ve also seen significant growth in online sales. Because we did a lot of direct and marketplace sales, our online sales weren’t generating a lot of income for us. Now, Magento orders are one of our best marketplaces.
How did Brainvire Infotech Inc perform from a project management standpoint?
Project management is excellent. Our primary method of communication is Skype for day-to-day direct messaging and check-ins. Since we have so much going on and are growing rapidly, I use Skype to check in and address more urgent or emergent things that we don’t want to input as a task that would then need to be managed.
We do project management through Jira. We’ve set up Jira boards for each project, so we have a CRM board, an Odoo board, a Magento board, etc. We manage tasks through Jira. Since everything is cloud- and smart app-based, it’s very easy for me to manage my projects through them.
They manage their teams, and I only have to talk to one person for each of our projects. On a day-to-day basis, I just work with each resource group manager. That’s big for me; I want to go to one person, and then they manage their team and make sure the work gets done. If I have any larger issues, I go to Hiren (Head – Custom Solution & Mobility). He manages all of the projects. Above him is Chintan (CEO & President), but I’ve never had to go to him.
What did you find most impressive about them?
Their turnaround time and ability to strategize on projects set them apart. They do a really job of delivering within the time they say and oftentimes even early. Overall, what stands out is that they can suggest improvements to what my vision is. They’re very good at suggesting better or alternative ways of doing things.
They also have a very impressive client roster. They do a lot of different things; we’re having them look into a mobile app and progressive web apps. They have a big scope in terms of what they can do. They can handle everything in-house, so we don’t need to look elsewhere for other developers.
Are there any areas they could improve?
I can’t really think of anything. Overall, they’ve done an excellent job. It’s up to me to manage the projects, so as long as they’re delivering on what my vision is for the project, I don’t have any issues. They’ve gone above and beyond.
Any advice for potential customers?
You definitely need to have somebody in your organization who's dedicated to managing your projects on a day-to-day basis with them. Because these projects are intricate and complex, things could fall through the cracks if you don’t have somebody who's dedicated to managing these projects with them, whether it's on Skype or Jira. Also, having that dedicated person from their side is a big plus.

Brainvire’s experienced digital experts implemented an effective link building and content strategy. With a custom-built SEO strategy, the website gained a quality digital presence. They’ve transformed our SEO strategy. Ever since then we can see double organic traffic and engagement. In January 2020, our bookings went over 50% and conversion rates increased by 85%.

Brainvire has skilled professionals. They know what they are doing and they do the best. They have ingrained a teamwork mentality. I am glad to admit that we are legitimate partners. Every week, we have a team call to discuss SEO and paid ads. In other instances we prefer emails.

I hired Brainvire to fix all the bugs and update the app with all necessary updates so my app will work and be successful.
What were your goals for this project?
I hired a different company to develop my real estate app in 2015 from start to finish and shortly after they uploaded it to the app stores the company went out of business so I had to find another company and another and so on.
I had hired several company's to fix the bugs and do updates to get it to work but I just couldn't find one that could do the job and do it well. In 2019 I interviewed several more developers, one being Brainvire, and felt Brainvire was the best option.
SOLUTION
How did you select Brainvire Infotech Inc?
Brainvire gave me their promise they would fix everything and do all the necessary updates. They had told me they had work with maps and have high rankings in clutch and other Developer websites. I was confident with their portfolio and I felt I had chosen the best company.

My app helps realtors show homes. It helps them organize and navigate to each home and take notes and pictures for their clients.
What was the team composition?
I had a project manager that spoke to everyone for me. He passed on my feedback and approvals. My project manager would send me builds to test and I would talk about about any concerns I had with him and he would pass it on to the team.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
Brainvire looked over my code in April and started to work on it shorty after. I felt the start was slow and when I received my first invoice I realized why. They charged me for looking into a map based sdk I needed for my app. They never told me they were going to charge me for research. I could of done that myself.
This was a red flag but I stayed with them. Builds took a while, and every time I tested a build, it broke immediately. I kept asking if they were testing them before they sent them and they said yes but there is no way they did. Second red flag. many more things happened after that that also were very concerning.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
The project manager answered quickly every time I had a request or concern but all he ever said was I will look into. He didn't provide solutions just excuses and lies.
What did you find most impressive about this company?
There was nothing impressive about the company.
Are there any areas for improvement?
Not only did they charge me for research they didn't tell me about but every build was not tested before they sent it to me.
The worst part of working with Brainvire was they Lied. I think they under bid it so they took short cuts on my app, one in particular was they did not update the map sdk like they said they would in the contract. When I asked them about it they lied to me and said they did do it.
So I contacted the map company and they told me what to look for if they had updated it and when I checked the app I saw as plan as day they didn't update it. When I asked them about it they said I was mistaken and I didnt know what I was taking about.
What company cuts corners to save money and will break the contract. Brainvire does. They are liars and manipulators. If you don't know what to look for beware they probably scammed you too on your app. DON'T HIRE BRAINVIRE. HORRIBLE COMPANY. LIARS.

We started this journey with the mindset of helping an entrepreneur who wanted to do something good in digital space, and we wanted to honor our relationship with a common connection.
We completed the work. Our support period was for one month, but we've given support for six. After a year, she came back saying that other companies weren't helping her and wanted us to make changes for free. When we received the code, it was a mess. Because of the relationship, we took the project but told her what was and wasn't possible, putting it clearly in the contract.
After the final delivery, she came back asking for things that were outside of the scope and blackmailed us. We helped where possible. Instead of her messy code, we said we could help her rewrite things as a good gesture, but she wanted everything done for free. We had to say no at that point to limit our losses.
She asked for the code so that she could go to another organization, so we shared it with her. All of the other companies she went to refused to work with her because the code was a mess. A year later, she came back asking to do the same things for free and blackmailed us.
We respect our clients and always try to recommend the best possible solutions, but she wanted to take advantage of our gesture. We are here to help, but don't take advantage of our honesty.

We are a liquidator of Automotive Parts to wholesalers in the US, Canada, and the global marketplace. I am CTO and oversee all aspects of our technology.

We needed an plugin/extension to connect our Jive VOIP platform to our SuiteCRM application so we can make calls from SuiteCRM and log the call activity and notes for reference in the future.
What were your goals for this project?
To integrate our Phone Sales operational tools so we can manage customer relationships and measure call activity.
SOLUTION
How did you select this vendor?
They were listed as a provider of Custom Plugins and Extensions for SuiteCRM and already had a similar product that they had designed for Twilio.
Describe the project and the services they provided in detail.
They used the Jive API to connect our VOIP system to SuiteCRM. They developed "click to call" form with SuiteCRM. Outbound and Inbound Calls generate a POPUP in SuiteCRM that tracks the call activity in real time.
When the call is completed, a Call Log is generated and the user can enter a brief note into the POPUP, or opt to open the Call Edit Screen to add more details or modify existing details to be saved in the Call Activity Log.
What was the team composition?
Darshan Trevedi, my Account Representative, got the ball rolling and stayed engaged through the whole process. The Project Team Leader, Montu Pepavanshi, was my main point of contact, and he managed every phase of the project and maintained excellent communication from start to finish. There were several developers involved at various stages, but Chandan Rai and Binita Singh seemed to be involved from the beginning to end.
They also maintained excellent communication through every phase of the development. Also impressive was that the CEO of the firm, Chintan Shah, also joined most of the calls and online meetings and stayed very engaged in the project.

Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?
We are are Phone Sales Operation. We spent a lot of time and development of SuiteCRM with another firm, and the number ONE item on our wish list was "Call Integration". However, after several months of development, they were not able to deliver this critical requirement.
We were to the point of abandoning the SuiteCRM upgrade and reverting back to a 15 year old legacy application. Then, I found Brainvire on the SuiteCRM Web Store and contacted them about our needs. They accepted the challenge with enthusiasm and by delivering what we needed, we know are moving closer to implementing SuiteCRM.
How was project management arranged and how effective was it?
We communicated through Skype and Zoom regularly. Montu kept me updated daily on progress. During the beta testing, I met with several members of their Project Team on Zoom or Skype everyday to see demonstrations, discuss questions, resolve issues, and consider enhancements.

The value of the services rendered was exceptional. The quality of work was excellent and their communication and dedication to completing the project were impressive.

After working with them for 4 months, I can't think of anything.

What challenge were you trying to address with Brainvire Infotech Inc?
We had the idea and knowledge but we didn’t have the technical expertise to develop our platform. We had an event coming up and we were very short on a timeline. We wanted to drive registrations for the evening through the fashion exchange platform.
SOLUTION
What was the scope of their involvement?
Brainvire Infotech Inc developed our platform, taking our insights and building on them. They’ve been with us from the very start of the project. They helped with the core idea, and they’ve generated insights on how the platform can function, what kind of technical support it will require, where we can improve the UX.
After we shared our template with them, they reviewed it and got back to us. They then showed us some key use case studies that they had and since we were short on a deadline, they gave us insights on how to fast track the development.
The team also gave us some predefined wireframes that they had to speed up the process. They had a working prototype with features that matched what we already had in our assets.
We used that and brought our design language to it. From there, we went on to individual features and functions. It’s a subscription-based platform and Brainvire Infotech Inc did all of the subscription features.
We had no idea how that portion worked. They guided us throughout the process, and during the deployment, they’d send us the staging goals and we would try it out. We’d respond with feedback, they’d come back to us with the changes, and then we’d confirm them.
After the launch, we did a user test and realized the issues we needed to address in terms of user functionality. We got back to them and they continued to help support us. They’re very patient with our approaches.

Additionally, the platform is efficient. After we got more feedback after the event, we gave them the entire list and they’ve been working on that since then. Their technical team is very sound.

Throughout the project, we’ve been in touch with the project manager. He’s been hands-on from the very beginning. He always gives us the right direction and keeps everyone in the loop. If there was something that needed attention, the project manager would get back to me.
I’ve been in and out of their office a couple of times. The process became even better because they’d schedule a day for me to come in and whatever queries they had, they went on department by department for design.
We would then address the functionality, and the technical team would come in and solve the problems. They’d tell us if something wasn’t realistic and they’d give me a solution to my ideas and how to achieve them.
What did you find most impressive about them?
Brainvire Infotech Inc makes sure that they are going to make you happy.
Are there any areas they could improve?
Sometimes there’s a delay on our end to provide them with feedback. They have it in their policy that if we don’t respond within a certain amount of time, they will make the decision for us. I’d like it if they would increase the number of times that they give us for feedback.
I understand it’s to stay on course with the project and to meet deadlines, but it would still be helpful. Additionally, they should use a better communication platform. Right now they communicate via Skype which isn’t ideal for me.

I’ve already recommended them to three of my colleagues. One of them has already had discussions with them. I recommend them for their technical expertise and the way they make you feel welcome.
