Brainvire Infotech Inc redesigned and developed a website for a jewelry retailer’s site. Keeping many of the features on the frontend the same, they moved the site to Magento and used ODOO for the backend.
Brainvire Infotech Inc developed a comprehensive solution with few bugs. The platform is functional and includes thousands of unique products. The team was very dedicated to the project’s success. Working late into the night to deliver, they overcame time differences and communicated well.

BACKGROUND
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the CEO of an online company that sells engagement rings.
OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE
What challenge were you trying to address with Brainvire Infotech Inc?
We initially developed the front- and backend of our platform. We started to find that it was difficult to maintain and continue to develop the site. The technology was evolving at a quicker pace than we could afford to keep up with on our own.
SOLUTION
What was the scope of their involvement?
They created the spec documents for us and what they would do for us. They were going to emulate some of the things we’d already done. We decided to move to Magento and to use UDOO for our backend.
What is the team composition?
We had one main point of contact.
How did you come to work with Brainvire Infotech Inc?
They reached out to me several years before. When we started looking to outsource the development work, I looked around a bit, buit nothing seemed to be the right fit.
How much have you invested with them?
It was about $250,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
The project lasted from January 2019 and we launched the site in January 2020.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
We have quite a complex infrastructure because we have thousands of products. Like any programming project, there were a few issues, but we were able to iron those out. The site is about 98% effective. I’ve only heard positive things from consumers.
Unfortunately, we launched the site in the middle of the COVID-19 pandemic, and just after the Christmas season, so it’s hard to see how much the platform really impacted sales.
How did Brainvire Infotech Inc perform from a project management standpoint?
They were very dedicated and worked crazy hours because of the time difference. Especially after we launched, the made a tremendous effort to make sure everything was operational. They were pretty efficient and got the job done.
What did you find most impressive about them?
They’re very versatile and seem to be proficient in many areas. For our needs, they were on-the-ball. They definitely knew what they were doing.
Are there any areas they could improve?
Communication has to be very clear, especially when working with an overseas team like them. There were some cultural and perception differences, so that was difficult at first, but we were able to get through it due to excellent project management.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Be understanding. People need to make sure that their scope is clearly defined.

Brainvire Infotech Inc provided full-stack development services, creating a web app almost completely from scratch. The team used the MERN stack to create an app that displays data science operations outputs.
Taking a low-fidelity prototype and improving its UX, Brainvire Infotech Inc delivered a functional MVP. Throughout the partnership, the team was not only incredibly accommodating but also flexible and willing to shift their scope of work to complete the project. They were a diligent partner.
A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this
client over the phone. Below is an edited
transcript.
BACKGROUND
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the CEO of a media monitoring platform that does data science.
OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE
What challenge were you trying to address with Brainvire Infotech Inc?
We were looking to build a web app.
SOLUTION
What was the scope of their involvement?
I provided a very detailed scope of work and a description of what we wanted to accomplish, including the different features and functionalities. We worked with them to edit the scope of work to make sure that there would be no misinterpretations.
The team had their own internal template — a software requirements specification (SRS) document — which they used to formalize the scope of work. They built a web app, mostly from the ground up, that displays the output of our data science operations in a full-stack environment.
We populated the database and provided them with a basic prototype. Brainvire Infotech Inc then built everything that takes it from database to frontend, which includes a real-time reflection of CRUD operations. In terms of technology, they used the MERN stack: MongoDB, Express.js, React, Node.js.
What is the team composition?
I worked with two developers regularly. As Brainvire Infotech Inc needed support, they tapped into other resources within their team for certain, less-complex elements of the scope.
How did you come to work with Brainvire Infotech Inc?
I found them through my own research, which included Clutch ratings. I was looking to outsource work to a well-established firm that was based in the U.S. I had sent out a few quotes to different companies after looking at the ratings and past reviews.
Brainvire Infotech Inc fit the mold because they had worked with the specific technologies we knew we wanted to use. So, they were able to showcase projects they’d done with the technologies we were using.
This placated some of our apprehensions about outsourcing. Additionally, I met with management while he was in the U.S. for customer visits and there was a comfort level on that front after having met with him.
How much have you invested with them?
We spent about $50,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
We began working with Brainvire Infotech Inc in December 2019. Although the contract was scheduled to end in March 2020, we hadn’t met all of our requirements. So, they went beyond to make sure that the requirements were met even if it wasn’t optimal for their internal schedule. We ended up completing the project in March 2020.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
Brainvire Infotech Inc provided us with an MVP that we think we can use. We didn’t reach out to them for software services that we weren’t privy to. What they did was, since they have smart engineers, help the UX look good.
Using their own internal design team, they were able to take a low-fidelity wireframe that I provided and make it into something much better.
How did Brainvire Infotech Inc perform from a project management standpoint?
The team was very accommodating. I went to visit their offices and they were very hospitable and professional. Brainvire Infotech Inc did a good job of making sure that the requirements that we provided were clear and making sure that their engineers knew what they were doing.
Even though we missed our final deadline, I had set the expectation from the beginning that I didn’t care too much about the timeline.
What did you find most impressive about them?
When you go to a multi-national company, you pay a lot more. When you go to a small business, you might not get the skill set that you want. With a mid-size company like Brainvire Infotech Inc, they have in-house teammates who are available if unexpected challenges pop up.
The team is able to pivot well and adapt to new requirements because of the workforce they have. They’re a multifaceted team. When there was something in regards to clearing, they did their research when they came across a problem that both of us weren’t expecting. The team was very professional in the sense that they didn’t take advantage of me.
Are there any areas they could improve?
No, nothing comes straight to mind. If anything, it would’ve been nice if tasks were done a little quicker, but I did add a few requirements to scope. I was really more concerned with the end product as opposed to how we got there, and the end product was acceptable.
I also wish they were a little cheaper. During the bidding process, there were a few other companies that were roughly the same size as Brainvire Infotech Inc andwere a little less expensive. I didn’t go with those companies because of Clutch ratings or they didn’t have the past experience we needed.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Brainvire Infotech Inc is well-equipped to deal with companies of all sizes. They’re also good with American companies because they communicate in English very well. I would suggest that potential customers know what to expect, especially when outsourcing work.

A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this
client over the phone. Below is an edited
transcript.
BACKGROUND
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I am the CEO of Almontage which is a film production studio.
OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE
What challenge were you trying to address with Brainvire Infotech Inc?
We had been doing some research on web applications. We came up with the idea of building a digital platform that enables film studios like ourselves to find talent and crew online, which is a big dilemma we have in the market.
SOLUTION
What was the scope of their involvement?
We had some UI design ideas for the website, and we worked with them on this UI design. I think we went a bit beyond the scope when we saw the great efforts done by their team, we added a few functions and some revised business models with them and with their team and strategy members.
We are in continuous discussions with them about new advancements to the website even after the launch, we would like to add more functionalities and more stuff with them. We are comfortable working with them on this project and hopefully any other projects we may decide to do.
What is the team composition?
We mainly worked with one person who was our main point of contact. I think we had multiple people when our point of contact got multiple members involved in the call for some discussions and some reviews.
How did you come to work with Brainvire Infotech Inc?
My brother was looking for a development company to carry on his project. He visited a group of companies and one of them was Brainvire Infotech Inc. He really liked the CEO of the company and he saw there were a lot of smart people there from the designers to the coders. They really are a powerful company to work with to ensure that you have the right partner, especially if you are putting in a hefty budget. He explained to me that this the company to work with. I reached out to the CEO and we had a discussion. We really liked our conversation and we decided to pick them for this project.
How much have you invested in them?
I don’t know the exact number, but it is around $150,000 USD.
What is the status of this engagement?
We began working with them about a year ago.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
It was delivered fully but we are now talking about new scopes for the project. We are expanding the scope to new areas that we never included in the first part. We haven’t done the official launch yet, but it is fully operational. We had a soft launch and there were 1,000 users there already.
Before launching the website, we have to go through a soft launch to get people to register and have them use it. That is the phase we are in now. We want to get the word out, to get as many people on board and register before we put in a heavy budget on marketing and spend a lot on campaigning.
It was a great experience working with them. They have a great team that is dedicated and very communicative. We exchanged ideas and they were always there to support our ambitions.
How did Brainvire Infotech Inc perform from a project management standpoint?
It has been excellent. We had weekly meetings and a task list where we could see a live feed of what was going on for each task. They kept sending us update patches every month. I think it was an organized project. It was smooth because both parties knew exactly what they wanted, and maybe that is one of the reasons it was a very smooth project for us.
What did you find most impressive about them?
Overall, I think Brainvire Infotech Inc is capable of doing what they promised in the scope. I did a few projects with other companies and sometimes you receive a proposal but the company might not necessarily be capable of doing it. Brainvire Infotech Inc is a capable company. They have the resources, and when they put something in their scope, we can trust that they will deliver.
Are there any areas they could improve?
I really don’t see any areas that made me think twice about them. There is nothing really to mention when it comes to areas of improvement which is why I want to work with them even more on additional stuff.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
They have to be really clear on what they want to do from day one. That means that they should have everything detailed before they engage with any company.
For Brainvire Infotech Inc, the best part is that they have business people on their team if the customer does not know exactly what they want. I would recommend that a user invest a bit more and engage with the business people at Brainvire Infotech Inc to put the right proposal in place instead of wasting money and time on something that may be broken at the end. Don’t be afraid to invest a bit more to build a business plan or strategy at the beginning of your project because it will save you a lot of time and a lot of money when you engage in developing the application, project, or platform.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?
You should have the scope nailed down, but there also needs to be room for inevitable changes in the contract.

Brainvire Infotech Inc undertook a rescue mission project for a recipe solutions company. They developed an MVP for an app and continue to add enhancement and new features to the product.
In their ongoing testing of the completed work, the partner has noticed significant improvements in the quality of code and usability of the overall solution. The product no longer crashes and contains fewer bugs. The team’s transparency and commitment to set timelines added value to the engagement.
A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this
client over the phone. Below is an edited
transcript.
BACKGROUND
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the CEO of a small startup that’s working to develop an app that matches recipes to the groceries individuals have on hand in hopes to more it easier to create dishes at home. We account for various diets and lifestyles as well.
OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE
What challenge were you trying to address with Brainvire Infotech Inc?
With our past provider, we were experiencing quality and delivery issues. It was time to find another provider to help us create a high-quality app.
SOLUTION
What was the scope of their involvement?
After we shared the code with them, they examined and scoped out the required work it would take to complete the app. They offered an estimate that detailed what it would take to make the solution bug-free. From there, they got started with the development process to yield a solution that would be 100% usable for customers. So far, they’ve produced an MVP and are moving on toward the next set of enhancements for the product.
What is the team composition?
Initially, we worked with a manager who later passed us off to an assigned project manager and business analyst. There are a few additional developers that are dedicated to the work as well, and they attend meetings occasionally.
How did you come to work with Brainvire Infotech Inc?
I was searching for new providers online and came across their team. They were quick to inquire about my goals and scope the project out on their end. Their team seemed much more transparent than our previous provider.
How much have you invested with them?
So far, we’ve spent about $10,000 on their work.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started the project in February 2020, and our teams are still collaborating.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
They provide a weekly output of the hours worked toward certain goals. I can track what they’ve completed and test each build they send to me for bugs. For the most part, if I find a few bugs and the app isn’t crashing, that’s a major improvement over our previous situation. Anecdotally, we’ve seen big improvements to our product with them on board.
How did Brainvire Infotech Inc perform from a project management standpoint?
They set the project up in Jira, which allowed me to follow and track their progress, plans, and recommendations. I always knew what was being prioritized this way. They kept our budget restrictions in mind, working with me to schedule our must-haves into the scope. Their team generally tracks well on timeline estimates but could consider our budget a bit more proactively.
What did you find most impressive about them?
They were very transparent in their processes and open to feedback whenever we have it. The customer service element of the relationship has been helpful. If I’m having issues, I’m able to speak freely with the manager to ensure that we’re on the same page. Even though we’re a small firm, they make us feel like an important client. They’re very quick to respond to us.
Are there any areas they could improve?
I generally have to remind our manager to ensure that our budget is completely accounted for in the build. If they could track scope, schedule, and budget, that would be helpful. Otherwise, they handle our requirements and timelines well.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Set expectations up front and take time with their team to ensure that they understand your mission. To get the most out of their team, make sure you’re providing that information from the start. Otherwise, I recommend working with them.

Brainvire Infotech Inc developed a mobile app designed to recruit entertainers for various productions. Using the app, two different groups of users communicate with each other.
The app has supported continued business growth, and it has attracted artists from various geographic regions. Brainvire Infotech excels at collaborating with start-ups. They offered valuable, informative suggestions throughout the entire timeline.
The client submitted this review online.
BACKGROUND
Please describe your company and your position there.
My name is Amiya Mahapatra. I am the founder of the company Chuppe Rustam. We are a group of creative individuals who’ve come together to entertain people with movies, video spoofs, short-films, and many such mediums. We have the vision to recruit the best talent, especially from the rural areas, and offer them the best opportunities in the industry.
OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE
For what projects/services did your company hire Brainvire Infotech Inc?
We reached out to Brainvire to develop a mobile app that can help us transform our vision into reality. We are an entertainment company looking to create and produce short-films, movies, videos, and spoofs. While we have scripts, ideas and all other necessities in the pipeline, we were looking for talented individuals who can portray roles effectively on the big screen. We wanted to be easily accessible to all the talented artists looking to make it big in this industry. And for that, we wanted an easy-to-use mobile application to attract fresh talent and entail multiple screenings.
What were your goals for this project?
We are looking to expand and make a name for ourselves in this industry. As far as casting is concerned, posting ads in print media and other online platforms doesn’t create awareness about such opportunities. Moreover, the casting process involves traveling to distant cities to participate in the auditions. We wanted to eliminate these bottlenecks. Our talent seekers should be able to post online ads in the exclusive mobile app and also launch vote-based contests where aspiring artists can showcase their acting skills and win roles.
SOLUTION
How did you select this vendor?
We shortlisted Brainvire for our project after going through many reviews on Clutch and other rating platforms. We saw that this company had more than 100 5-star ratings. In most of the reviews, people had talked about Brainvire’s consultative approach and we were looking for exactly the same. All of these things made our decision easier.
Describe the project in detail.
I’ll talk about the app’s features. The mobile app has a premium section reserved for the most talented artists. They get access to a host of exclusive benefits after showcasing their skills. The communication between artists and the production house will be through a proper channel and moderated by an admin. Casting directors have to get in touch with the admin to initiate the process of hiring new talent. This ensures that a transparent and secure screening process is followed at all times.
What was the team composition?
I was constantly interacting with their Business Analysts (BAs as they call them) and they were the point of contact. On some occasions, I also spoke with their Team Leaders and developers from the Android and iOS teams.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
The app has increased the number of videos we have screened. To date, we have posted more than 5000 videos and the number is increasing continuously. Also, many artists from distant places have auditioned for roles and got what they deserve. This, according to me, is a major success for us.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
Brainvire’s team was startup-friendly. I was not aware of any latest technologies used to create such apps. Their consultants worked closely with my team and ideated the concept from start to finish.
What did you find most impressive about this company?
As I mentioned before, they are the best people to guide enthusiastic entrepreneurs like me who come from a non-technical background. They go the extra mile to explain the pros and cons of different technologies. I also liked their support team.
Are there any areas for improvement?
They over deliver at times and need to slow down a bit. For a person like me, it’s not easy to process so much information in one go. But this seems to be an advantage for the bigger companies.

Brainvire Infotech is redeveloping the back- and frontend of an e-commerce system for a medical response provider. They worked in Magento and Odoo to redesign the CMS and shopping cart system.
The capabilities enabled by the design of the new website have saved the client an incredible amount of money and time, more than paying for the cost of the project itself and pleasing company stakeholders. The Brainvire Infotech team is creative, responsive, and flexible to changing requirements.
A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this
client over the phone. Below is an edited
transcript.
BACKGROUND
Introduce your business and what you do there.
Our company is Bay Alarm Medical, and we provide medical alert services to seniors for fall detection and health monitoring, as well as providing a number of emergency services that seniors might need. I am the president of the company.
OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE
What challenge were you trying to address with Brainvire Infotech?
Our business is completely based in e-commerce, so we handle cards online through salesforce as well as our ERP CRM system. The biggest challenge is that we have very complicated structures for providing customer support, and we wanted to try and cut down on some of the time and monetary costs associated with that.
SOLUTION
What was the scope of their involvement?
What Brainvire Infotech is doing for us right now is completely redesigning our Magento e-commerce cart to make it more usable on the frontend and flexible on the backend. That will allow our internal systems administrators to update things, change prices, and add and remove products in ways that are much less complicated than with our current system.
On top of that, we decided to switch to Odoo, which is again an opensource and a more flexible platform in terms of the workflow for supporting customers, handling customer accounts, and making changes and things like that.
What is the team composition?
We had one main point of contact who was our project manager from Brainvire Infotech, and he managed two separate teams, one for the ERP and the other for Magento. Each of those teams had a specific lead engineer who would handle a lot of our technical questions and oversee anywhere from 5-10 developers and QA personnel.
How did you come to work with Brainvire Infotech?
Their team had engaged with us a number of years ago on a different product, which was an app that we were trying to develop. When I started looking at vendors to work with on this project, Brainvire Infotech stood out because of their experience with us and their price point, so we decided to work with them.
How much have you invested with them?
The project cost came out to a little bit over $200,000 in total.
What is the status of this engagement?
We first started working with them in April 2019 and are continuing the development as we speak.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
The success of the project for us has been two pronged. One aspect that I look at in my role is the savings from the work, which for us is expected to save more than the cost of the project itself within less than a year.
On top of that, we have dramatically reduced the time it takes to support any given customer and are targeting a reduction to half the time we currently spend. In our preliminary demos and testing we think that we will hit that target, which is really satisfying for us.
How did Brainvire Infotech perform from a project management standpoint?
They have been onboard with us and flexible with changing requirements since day one. Over the past few months we’ve been meeting with them almost every day, going through an agile type of environment and demoing various modules that they are working on as we go. Their support has been very helpful and made clear that they are both knowledgeable in what they do and committed to the success of our project.
What did you find most impressive about them?
One of the biggest things I like about this time as compared to some other vendors I have worked with in the past is the proactiveness with which they deal with things. The fact that they are always ready to go and jump into a new aspect of the project has really stood out to me.
Are there any areas they could improve?
I don’t have any complaints about their services at all. If there’s one thing they could do to improve it might be to spend a little more time trying to understand our business and how we operate, but that hasn’t been a detriment to the project by any means.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
One thing I learned through this engagement is how important it is to be extremely clear in your requirements and explaining exactly what you want. Because we are a small company and had very tight timelines, having all of the details nailed down helped us to really stick to those timelines.

Brainvire infotech developed a multi-facing e-commerce platform for a product retail company. They worked in Dynamics 365 and Magento to build a website front- and backend along with iOS and Android apps.
The solutions provided by Brainvire Infotech have satisfied all project requirements, successfully modernizing the interface and allowing the client to continue to expand their business. Their team is hardworking and creative, adapting flexibly to changing requirements throughout the project.
A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this
client over the phone. Below is an edited
transcript.
BACKGROUND
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I am the general manager of an e-commerce company in Kuwait. We sell electronics, cosmetics, and other product lines through two retail stores, a B2B department, and our website.
OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE
What challenge were you trying to address with Brainvire Infotech?
Our platform used to be C2C and is a little outdated because the backend ERP was originally built on an old version of Angular. We worked with Brainvire Infotech to help us transition to a redesign into a more modernized marketplace using Dynamic 365 and Magento.
SOLUTION
What was the scope of their involvement?
Our website is effectively two platforms. We have the vendor side, with login and customization features, and then we have the end-user frontend side as well. Then, there are two platforms for the users and the vendors on both iOS and Android as well. Brainvire Infotech has helped us to redevelop all of those faces and capabilities for the business.
What is the team composition?
So far, we’ve engaged with anywhere from 8–12 people depending on the stage of the project. There are project managers as well as business analysts, one designer, and two developers for iOS and Android working with them as well.
How did you come to work with Brainvire Infotech?
We did some research online initially and found them along with a few other companies. After interacting with them and seeing some examples of the quality of their work as well as their price, we could tell that they met all of our requirements and that we wanted to work with them.
How much have you invested with them?
The project cost a little under $100,000 in total.
What is the status of this engagement?
We worked together between April–October 2019.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
There were a few bumps in the beginning as you tend to find with any outsourcing project, but we have reached a point where through clear communication we are able to achieve all of our goals with nearly 100% accuracy. They have helped us to build out a significant number of features for our platform which have been very helpful in expanding our existing business.
How did Brainvire Infotech perform from a project management standpoint?
Their project management style is quite efficient, from understanding the initial requirements down to executing the features one by one. Their methodology is agile, and we haven’t had any problems in completing things on time and staying on schedule.
What did you find most impressive about them?
They are consistently very flexible in modifying or changing requirements as we make amendments to our initial plans. Their whole team and especially their CEO has been very supportive of me and our end goals, which we really appreciate.
Are there any areas they could improve?
They do a better job with the development than with the design, but that has not been a big problem since we have our own in-house design as well. Other than that, they really have been a 10 out of 10.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
As long as you are clear on your requirements, you are guaranteed to get something you like.

Brainvire Infotech Inc developed a native app and redesigned a website for an e-commerce company. They also integrated APIs while following local regulations and use Azure to manage the platform.
Brainvire Infotech Inc improved the platform’s code significantly and reduced bugs. They’re organized and track tasks effectively. The project lead is transparent, resulting in a strong partnership.
A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this
client over the phone. Below is an edited
transcript.
BACKGROUND
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I am the project development manager for YouGo. It is an e-commerce-based company in Qatar that provides services like flights, movie tickets and things like that. We have a scan and pay functionality and wallet-based payment system.
OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE
What challenge were you trying to address with Brainvire Infotech Inc?
We were looking for someone to help with web development.
SOLUTION
What was the scope of their involvement?
They developed an iOS and Android native app. They also host the platform on Azure. They are also helping us integrate the local APIs that follow local restrictions.
The previous company we worked with didn’t implement the code properly and Brainvire Infotech Inc found a lot of vulnerabilities, so they fixed all of those issues.
What is the team composition?
There are 5–6 people working on the current project, and we’ve worked with a business analyst.
How did you come to work with Brainvire Infotech Inc?
We were working with another developer, but we decided to change providers because we weren’t satisfied with their services. I checked online and found that Brainvire Infotech Inc has decent Clutch reviews. They’ve also worked with many Arab partners, so we decided to give it a try.
We liked their response so we decided to switch and move ahead with them. They are slightly on the pricier side but the services they provide are quite good. As a customer, our interaction was also very nice.
How much have you invested in them?
We’ve spent between $100,000–$250,000 on their services. The price increased as we found more coding issues and needed to bring on more developers.
What is the status of this engagement?
We began working with them in January 2020, and the work is still ongoing.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
It has had a drastic impact on our codebase. The quality of code has been improved and reusable functions have been implemented. The website redesign is in progress and new functionalities are being added. They’ve done a reasonably good job.
How did Brainvire Infotech Inc perform from a project management standpoint?
We use Slack as well as GitHub. They maintain the bug tracking and daily reports in Jira. The tickets are done properly and accurately. The only thing is that they don’t push the code on time or maintain a Git-flow.
What did you find most impressive about them?
The project lead is a really nice person. He has been really transparent and has helped a lot.
Are there any areas they could improve?
They’ve missed some of the QA issues. I’d also appreciate a reduction in price, but other than that I would say they provide a really good service.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
You need to get hold of the project lead and constantly communicate with him to get the most out of Brainvire Infotech Inc.

Brainvire Infotech developed the backend connections of a genetic health testing and insight platform, allowing for safe, accurate, and HIPPA compliant transfers of information to labs and physician networks.
The work delivered by Brainvire Infotech goes above and beyond project stakeholder requirements, inspiring confidence in their timelines and quality at every step of the process. Their team uses JIRA, email, and weekly calls to keep everyone on the same page and is flexible to requirement changes.
A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this
client over the phone. Below is an edited
transcript.
BACKGROUND
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I am the co-founder of a company called My HealthSight, and our concept is to create a portal for genetic testing and health insights for consumers. We’re starting with a carrier screening test and are looking to add more and more tests down the road.
OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE
What challenge were you trying to address with Brainvire Infotech?
We were looking for a partner to help connect us to all of our different clinical partners, including labs and physician networks. That platform needed to have a HIPPA compliant and accessible backend for our website.
SOLUTION
What was the scope of their involvement?
They focused on enabling the backend connections of the site in order to help information flow to our clinical partners. It can be a really significant challenge to communicate that information seamlessly, make sure it’s accurate, and protect patient privacy at the same time.
Brainvire Infotech developed the entire backend system in addition to all of our standard e-commerce and customer management functionality. Most of that was built on WordPress using AWS, but there were a lot of customizations, protections, and add-ons on top of those frameworks.
What is the team composition?
Over the course of the project, I have interacted with 4-5 members of their team, but I have one specific point of contact who I communicate with most regularly.
How did you come to work with Brainvire Infotech?
I had a friend who recommended them, so we reached out to see if they were interested. Along with a few other companies they sent us a proposal for the project. Theirs was really comprehensive but didn’t feel overbearing, and we decided to work with them.
How much have you invested with them?
We’ve spent between $50,000-$100,000 in total.
What is the status of this engagement?
The project started around August 2019 and our work together is ongoing.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
Their understanding of what we needed from the beginning as well as the quality of their work and the timeline of the implementation have all been spectacular so far. I thought we would be finished ahead of where we are now, but the delays are not because of problems on their side. They establish confidence with us in every meeting we have about their timelines and the quality of the work we will receive in the end.
How did Brainvire Infotech perform from a project management standpoint?
We use JIRA to keep track of projects, as well as email, weekly calls, and followups to make sure everyone is on the same page. The level of communication has been perfect, and I’ve never felt like the distance between our physical offices even comes into play.
What did you find most impressive about them?
They are very good at understanding what your core goals are. As long as you communicate your understanding of those and how those change, they are able to figure out how all of those fit and work together, as well as to provide insight and logic around how to get there.
Are there any areas they could improve?
The only slight hiccup we’ve had was in developing a clear understanding of the project deliverables at the very beginning, but that didn’t cause us any major problems down the line. We were able to resolve and move past that, but providing a little more clarity on what is entailed in the initial scope of work is always helpful.
