What was the scope of their involvement?
Brainvire took over the project after we had switched between 4–5 different companies. They cleaned up the frontend of the website. Their team also took care of big issues with the product data and customer data that the previous developer messed up. They corrected the scope of the project.
Currently, they help with the Magento 2 migration process for our websites. They are going to transition two new websites in the near future.

They are way better than anyone we’ve worked with. We’ve worked with a project manager who is on-point with reports and tracking the updates we need. They were always on schedule, which was great. We used Jira, Confluence, and Basecamp. Jira was the primary tool we used.

They have a lot of available resources. If you need an expert on something that wasn’t a part of the initial skills outline, they will go out of there way to find someone who can get the work done. At some point, we needed someone to work in C# for us, and they were able to locate someone, which was really helpful.

I think everything went smoothly this time. Maybe we work through emails quicker than them, but I think that’s mainly due to the time difference with their crew members that are based in India.

Our initial CRM was built with Navatar, and Brainvire Infotech Inc took that CRM and totally customized it according to our needs. They studied our current process and heard our pain points and what we wanted to do. Based on that, they gave us feedback. They were involved in design as well.
They looked at what we couldn’t do with the current CRM and heard our business processes. Then they developed and tested a solution and presented it back to us.
Based out of SugarCRM, our new CRM is customized to our needs. Brainvire Infotech Inc does all kinds of customizations and programming for us. They supported our migration from Salesforce as well as development.
What is the team composition?
We worked with six or seven people in total, including a lead business analyst, developers, testers, and a couple of business analysts. I had a primary point of contact.

They take a lot of interest in understanding what our current processes are rather than just doing what we wanted. They had their business analysts study our current business processes and our software, and then came up with their own ideas and gave us suggestions. They were more than just a service provider—they were our partner as well.
They wanted to make sure the final product helps us manage our investors and provides our sales team with more ammunition to go out and reach more investors. Our investor relations team was also excited because a lot of the things we wanted to do digitally weren’t available in the initial CRM. All in all, it had a positive impact on our business and the way we do our business day-to-day.

They were very meticulous about every detail. They created all the documentation, capturing every field, every detail, every conversation, and every meeting. They documented everything in Jira. What was the scope of their involvement?
They’re helping us build a cross-platform app for iOS and Android. We’re also going to have an informative website, although one without any user-facing functionality.
Our options for public events include booking for concerts, workshops, and seminars. Users can create their own private event and invite guests. We also have an option to check-in at the event on social media and send direct messages to other guests. The check-in requires the user to be physically present at the ticket with their seat or ticket.
They started from scratch, but I gave them a wireframe just to help them get an idea of what I want. They’ve designed the UI and they’re working on coding. Right now, they're working on the payment gateway, but it's been kind of a struggle because we have different finance laws in Kuwait. For example, in Kuwait, we cannot pay or receive money on PayPal. We have to contact a local business and they have to use their code and implement it in the application. Dealing with more than one party has been an issue, but Brainvire Infotech Inc has been such a help.

Their quality is top-notch. They’re also great at putting up with the things I need. For example, I’m working with a local studio that will create the brand identity, the theme, and the color scheme. We haven't locked everything in yet because I’m waiting for the studio to provide me with those things before I give it back to Brainvire Infotech Inc. Then they’ll have to work with it and integrate the UI.
Also, we were working on a corporate G-suite account, and Google requires a lot of information from us because of the different rules in Kuwait. It’s been a hassle to just create an account, so Brainvire asked us to send them the credentials and offered to create it on our behalf.

In light of the rapid growth of our day-to-day operations, we needed to modernize our outdated technology assets.

What was the scope of their involvement?
Brainvire worked to revamp our technological footprint. They conducted an analysis of our different requirements as well as a system comparison. Previously, we had Ionic- and Cordova-based applications, but the team helped us recode those apps in React Native. Using Odoo and Magento, they also translated our legacy LAMP system into a structured and scalable ERP.
What is the team composition?
There are three teams—comprised of 19 people—working on our project: an Odoo team, a Magento team, and our existing technology team. They all collaborate on the mobile aspect of the project. I’m using an onsite-offshore model, where I have a couple of their teammates working in my office.
They engage with the system users to understand the tasks at hand. Then, they work with the offshore team to determine what needs to be developed. They’ve become the project-coordinators.

What was the scope of their involvement?
Brainvire Infotech Inc crafted a systematic PPC strategy for our business. We also fixed some challenges we were having on Shopify and how we were recording. For SEO, we’ve mainly worked with their team on fixing backlinks from a ranking perspective.

We’ve tracked the PPC metrics closely, and have seen an increase on Google Ads and Google Analytics, depending on the month. We’ve seen similar results on Facebook.
How did Brainvire Infotech Inc perform from a project management standpoint?
Brainvire Infotech is responsive, making adjustments for us when needed. We’re a high-touch client, and I hired someone to work with them and manage the process. We’re always in touch. My team reviews any ad copy that they draft before it goes live. As far as executing campaigns, they are on top of all of the work they have to do. I recommend Brainvire Infotech Inc’s services.
What did you find most impressive about them?
I was impressed with the breadth of skillsets their team has. They can handle the challenges we’ve had with SEO and reporting. Their team also set up AB testing for us. Not everyone on our marketing team has that technical background. We appreciate having someone to bounce ideas off of.
Are there any areas they could improve?
At times, they could be better at thought leadership. They also could be more metric oriented when it comes to reporting and working with ad copy. Their team is working on that though.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
At the beginning of an engagement, I recommend micromanaging them a bit. Once you understand how they work, you can lay off. It helps to understand their process and relay what your expectations are. We have a reporting structure for metrics that are discussed each week. I recommend having a weekly meeting too.

We wanted to develop a supply chain financing and vendor financing platform and needed someone to completely develop the platform. Because the FinTech market has a lot of liquidity crunch, vendors and suppliers are having a real pain in getting the working capital financed from banks in India and it’s impacting their cash conversion cycle.

What was the scope of their involvement?
Brainvire Infotech Inc developed our website. They did the wireframing, designing, complete flow, and development. They included key functionalities we wanted, including a section for buyers and sellers to discount their invoices within the platform and give vendors the ability to get their invoices and money early.
I provide the business logic to the teams. They are very proactive and supply their professionalism as well. I like that they applied their intelligence.
What is the team composition?
There’s a business analyst who takes all my requirements and a very senior guy who overlooks the complete team and coordinates on the UI side, testing side, and scalability perspective. There are two developers, two testing guys, and a designer.

I notice a big difference between Brainvire Infotech Inc and other companies I’ve worked with. They’re much more process-oriented. They document the flows, how the screens will look, and all the designs.

No, there’s been no difficulty. When I give them a task, it goes very smoothly. Brainvire Infotech Inc works very efficiently.

I’m the e-commerce operation head at Sunny Diamonds, which is India’s first standalone diamond company.

What challenge were you trying to address with Brainvire Infotech Inc?
There were a lot of issues with the inconsistency of our website’s speed and functionality. We needed to increase our conversion rate as well. We decided to move forward with another agency and a branding team so we could maintain brand consistency and better performance with the website.
SOLUTION
What was the scope of their involvement?
We gave them a project plan and once we approved their plan, they implemented the changes into the website. Those changes included adding the site dashboard, tracking cart usage, adding visitor tracking to the website, enabling follow-up emails, updating the typography, font style, and everything on the website.
They did speed optimization and it brought the consistency and security to the website, including CloudWatch and Cloudflare. They also collected product level reviews. There are a lot of solutions that we’re receiving from them.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
The website user interaction rate has increased. The average number of website visits and the time people spend on the website has increased by 3.5 seconds per minute. Brainvire Infotech Inc improved the bounce rate of the campaigns that we’re doing for Google Ads. Previously, when we had a campaign on Google, we were receiving almost an 80-90% bounce rate for Google and paid campaigns. For the moment, we’re receiving only a 40-50% bounce rate, which is brilliant. They also increased conversions and quality leads.
How did Brainvire Infotech Inc perform from a project management standpoint?
Their project management is perfect. There were some communication issues at the start on our side, but we smoothed it out. They were able to provide all the project management tools like Jira. They also provided detailed task timesheets of what they had done.
We set up milestones. If they were unable to complete the task, they’d add more resources to the team in order to complete the projects on time. They did that without asking us and didn’t charge it to the billing cycle. They’re a hardworking team.
What did you find most impressive about them?
They were strict with their deadlines and worked hard to ensure that the milestones were met, specifically with regard to speed optimization.
Are there any areas they could improve?
There’s nothing they could have changed.

Because we’re a relatively small team, we engaged Brainvire Infotech to help us develop a custom configuration app that would complement our analytics solution.

What was the scope of their involvement?
Brainvire Infotech Inc built a lightweight custom app for our analytics solution. We started by sharing a proof of concept with them. Then, their business analysts worked with our team to understand the exact requirements and conceptualize any additional features.
Based on that discovery phase, they recommended the best technologies (e.g., .NET) to build out our app before designing the initial wireframes and integrating it with our proprietary analytics solution. The app makes it easier for us to transfer information back and forth through configuration changes.

Their work lasted from January–June 2019. We only had six months to finish the project, so it was a tight deadline.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
Despite the short timeframe, Brainvire Infotech Inc delivered the project on schedule. One of the key things I was worried about was time lost due to unnecessary back and forth. I made it a point to set the stage up front, insisting that they supply a QA resource to fully test everything before delivery. Their team did just that, which significantly saved us time on testing and retesting the app.

I wasn’t involved in day-to-day project management. Instead, their team managed everything, from the timeline to the task at hand. They had effective status reports and weekly project calls, both of which allowed us to address issues while giving feedback in a timely fashion. It was a great way to prevent us from becoming a bottleneck in the delivery.
What did you find most impressive about them?
I was impressed that they had access to such a wide number of resources. Since we were on a time crunch, we needed to add more people to the project to deliver everything on time. Brainvire Infotech Inc was flexible enough to scale their team up and down so that we could stay on track without burning our budget.
Are there any areas they could improve?
I’m sure there were some minor things, but nothing jumps out to me, right now.

It’s extremely important to tighten up the scope of work before starting any project. For us, we wanted to make sure that both parties were on the same page. The team dynamic is also critical, especially when working with on- or offshore companies. Take the time to interview their resources to make sure you’ve found the right people.
