We’re developing a cloud-based ERP application that provides services on demand. The relationship with our previous software developers fell apart, and we needed a new partner.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Brainium Information Technologies picked up where our previous providers left off with development. The team worked on the software’s web and mobile interfaces using AngularJS and MongoDB.

We’re also using NodeJS for several other factors as well as the report management tool, which is another component of the software.

The ERP is a huge product and Brainium Information Technologies is developing module by module.

What is the team composition?

There are four people including one project manager. However, we plan to expand the team in the next few months.

The managing director is my school friend, so I reached out to him when we identified a need for new software developers.

We were considering two other companies as well, but after speaking with the managing director about the modalities and technologies involved in our project, we decided Brainium Information Technologies was a promising partnership.

There’s a noticeable difference between our previous provider and Brainium Information Technologies. Their team is flexible and their developers are talented. They have all the right skills, but if there’s ever anything new to learn, they jump at the opportunity.

Our experience working with Brainium Information Technologies has been better than we expected. They provide quality service at a reasonable price.

Throughout the project, there’s been a lot of R&D to ensure we achieve what we’re trying to achieve, and there have been several iterations so far. We’ve noticed the team’s tenacity in their efforts to deliver the best solution.

How did Brainium Information Technologies perform from a project management standpoint?

Our dedicated project manager is constantly attentive to the project and our needs. Together with the vice president of technology, he’s been extremely helpful. The team makes themselves available outside of business hours if necessary, and they hit all their deadlines.

The internal processes the team has in place to maintain standards and documentation is fantastic. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

We’re happy with their work. When things are beyond their reach, they learn. Brainium Information Technologies is committed to delivering.

Are there any areas they could improve?

There are areas they need to improve and I highlight them in open communication with the team. They make changes when I suggest it and I didn’t have to repeat twice. I see it as a positive aspect of what their team can offer.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

It’’s extremely important for any future companies who want to work with them to try and understand how Brainium Information Technologies works first. 

Secondly, you have to be very clear when you’re talking about what you want from them. Explain the complete features and how the solution should work. If you can provide them the workflow, it would be even better. Be open to suggestions too.

We needed a partner to create a custom mobile app. We wanted our customers to communicate with our overseas employees but maintain their anonymity.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Brainium Information Technologies built a web portal and a hybrid app in React Native. We communicated our ideas to their team including developers and UI designers. We gave them wireframes for the UI workflow and discussed how we wanted this app to work. From there, their team took over and worked on a full stack integration. They programmed the platform and came up with the graphical user interface.

They’re now helping us to switch to a WooCommerce platform with a custom UI. We’re working on the backend daily. Their team’s also building different functionalities to meet our business needs. They’re creating a web app and will direct our digital marketing services such as SEO and PPC efforts.

What is the team composition?

I communicated with a project manager who worked with a whole team in the background. The project involved a lot of people who worked on graphics, programming, and coding.

How did you come to work with Brainium Information Technologies?

We needed a solution for our app that could be done on mobile and web platforms. I noticed their ad on Google and started communicating with them. We were able to get the project going within 15 days or so.

We started working together on this project around July 2019 and we’re working on many different projects now.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

Brainium Information Technologies took my ideas and brought them to life, so I’m satisfied. I’ve worked with a lot of companies that brought frustration. Either a company’s too big or too small. We also tried to work with companies in the US, but they were out of budget. Brainium Information Technologies offers a great price point and provides the results that we seek. Working on the e-commerce website with them has been awesome. I never considered that my ideas would function on a website, so it’s amazing.

How did Brainium Information Technologies perform from a project management standpoint?

Their project management’s great. We’re able to communicate via Skype on a daily basis and that helps the process a lot. Even if there are smaller changes taking place, they update us and ask for feedback, which is one of their greatest qualities. They want constant feedback on their work and ask for our opinions, unlike other service providers that are entirely hands-off.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Brainium Information Technologies has many different resources on hand. They’re flexible and have knowledge of different technologies from low-end to high-end skills. They’ve been able to bring people on board to take care of any problems that we’ve faced. We’re hoping to expand our engagement with them.

Are there any areas they could improve?

They’re in a different country. I wish they had an office or project manager in our time zone.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

If you’re looking for someone flexible, communicate with them. Unfortunately, you may have to wake up at night to do it. But, if you want your project done in a cost-effective way and have access to different skillsets on one team, Brainium Information Technologies is a good place to start.

What were your goals for this project?

We needed Brainium to have a complete development of all aspects of the App including design and coding. Our final goal which is now achieved was to make the App live on Google Play Store and on Apple Store.

How did you select this vendor?

My selection was due to first a simple google research. From there E- mycook selected brainium for their real immediate commitment and interest in the project.

Describe the project in detail.

The project was a very large scale project and consequently needed to set a daily communication with the project manager, also with the team of designers and developers.

It was a constant feedback job to make sure work done was fine before moving forward. It was a very accurate job and every detail was significant.

Working from a far distance, we could not have meetings so we made sure to improve our communication through lots of visual supports as well as phone calls.

What was the team composition?

We started to talk with the Business Development Manager and we then mainly dealt with the Project Manager that was in charge of comunicating with the designers and developers.

So, we knew some of the designers but never were in direct touch with them but we were in direct contact with the developers.

Before completion we were assigned an Account Manager to help finalizing the project.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We finally are on line both in Apple Store and Google Play Store. Our new on-demand App shows high performance including chat plus geolocation, clear& nice design, two parts plus an admin platform.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

As I said, we had both Brainium and our Team had a great commitment in the project. We used efficient tools as Skype, mails and phone calls to set a permanent communication.

The feedback to Designers and Developers was always going through our Project Manager which was our main support.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

I have a personal gratitude for all the professional and high skilled members of this company, especially the ones we were dealing with.

I was first amazed by their presentation on the web as a 'family' but then understood that they value each of their customer at the very best.

They are brilliant in terms of app development and creation. And they have the ability to complete large scale projects.

Our goal for this project is to create a web platform where our customers can rent consumer tech products. I think Brainium had provided for what we were looking for from the beginning to end.

We did a basic google search and compiled a list of companies based on the ratings from different websites. Then we spoke to the companies over the phone and got the quotation for our website to build and chose the one which gave us a better price and after support option.

I think Brainium did a great job of creating a detailed document on what is the scope and technology-related aspects and the timelines of the project. I believe they did a wonderful job on that. I think after each milestone we gave a constant feedback over the emails and they responded very well in terms of getting the project done as expected and created a beautiful looking website.

We wanted an attractive and user-friendly website for our customers and Brainium succeed in delivering one for us.

I think we had a constant interaction between the project manager over the emails and they were professional and answered all the information we wanted.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

One of the main reasons I chose them is the lifetime support they provide after the product delivery.

Are there any areas for improvement?

I think they are pretty well in all aspects, but sometimes I would prefer a voice or video call meetings once in a while or give the opportunity to talk to the developers directly for explaining certain features that we wanted. Apart from this, I think they did what we wanted. Appreciate that.

Primarily the portal aimed at collecting, collating, and storing client’s data that can be used for the preparation of tax returns. It has a tax calculator built in component that estimates what the taxpayer should expect to pay. This will give them visibility of the taxes to be filed and the expected payout if any.  On the back end, the actual filing is still done by a tax agent who will also interact with the client and advise them on any concerns that they may have.

Rajkamal, Jahir, Debabrata and most recently Sibaprasad have been the developers that made this product viable. They patiently executed the laid-out project plan and innovatively developed solutions around the hurdles we met.

Brainium has a culture where they keep their promise. They will assign a team to your project and assign a project manager who takes the leadership role.
