For the new website, they presented us with mockups, and we finalized designs. They focused on frontend development and user experience.

For the redesign, they changed the entire frontend. We did the backend coding while they were responsible for the frontend.

The technology stack for both websites was HTML5, Bootstrap, and jQuery.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

Before the redesign, the website had outdated technology and poor performance. The look and feel weren’t good, either. They worked hard on UX/UI. After we launched, we had very good reviews on the improved performance and how user-friendly it was.

Additionally, when they presented templates to us, our QA team tested it, and they found it to be nearly flawless from the first run.

How did Trigma Solutions perform from a project management standpoint?

They were very professional. They were close enough that we could walk to each other’s offices to meet in person. The project manager was always on top of it, knowing what needed to be done, and what progress had been made.

The combination of their professionalism and high-quality work sets them apart from other vendors. They knew how to get work done within the set timeframes.

We needed a website for my business where people could place orders as well as an app that would allow us to do delivery and pickup from the store.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Their team built everything from scratch. I gave them an idea of what I wanted over phone call and email, and then they created the platform and everything that went along with it. They designed the screens and workflows for all of the features, focusing on keeping the designs consistent in order to create an overall brand presence. From there, they presented the samples to me and then executed those for both the app on iOS and Android and the website.

We had one main point of contact at their company, but I was able to interact with several other members of the team as well throughout the process.

One of my cousins works for a local IT company that had partnered with them as well, and he recommended a few companies including Trigma. It was clear from the beginning that they prioritized providing good customer service, so we decided to work with them.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

The results of the project have been absolutely fantastic. I have almost doubled my total customers because of the added capabilities we gained. The app itself has been very consistent, and my clients haven’t reported finding any issues with their work.

How did Trigma Solutions perform from a project management standpoint?

They were able to deliver all of our work within the deadlines and budget that we laid out for them, so that was all good. We communicated via phone and email for all of the work, and they were always good about responding quickly and making sure that our requests were addressed in a timely manner.

What did you find most impressive about them?

The communication was honestly the best part of working with them. It felt like they were always there for anything I needed, no matter what time or what request it was.

No, there wasn’t anything in particular that I think they need to improve.

Trigma Solutions performed really well. Their solution pleased both our internal team and our client. Everything went well; it was a great experience overall.

How did Trigma Solutions perform from a project management standpoint?

Throughout the engagement, our project manager coordinated with their project manager. They used a project management tool that my team could access to see the weekly milestones. 

They took an agile approach to development, which worked well. Trigma Solutions tested each module, gave it to our team to test, and then we were deploying it on the server. They shared the code with us through GitHub.

Additionally, we never had any problems with the budget during the duration of the project. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

We were impressed with their commitment levels. If we ever have another mobile application related project, Trigma Solutions will definitely be in consideration.

Are there any areas they could improve?

Initially, their team was busy with another project so there was a slight delay in assigning their developers to us. Other than that, we didn’t face any issues with them.

Have a clear idea of what you want from your project. We prepared all the wireframes and the UI/UX designs beforehand, which was helpful. They have a good team and they can deliver solutions really well.

We’re the labor department for the state of Haryana, India. I was the technical head in charge of the entire IT project.

What challenge were you trying to address with Trigma Solutions?

We had three challenges. First, we needed to provide all services online to the public, including the dissemination of information regarding the various functions, authorities, and phone numbers as per the Right to Information Act. We also had to inform the people about the laws and rules to be brought online, so that they wouldn’t have to rely on books and other printed material. 

The second challenge was to ensure our online services were under various labor laws. With this project, security had to be very tight. 

The third part was to give fair online facilities to workers under two different labor acts.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

We provided Trigma all the necessary technical information and procedures and gave them the task of building the platform.

Our first phase was design. Trigma had a team for graphic design, functionalities, software. System design was the first step, then we transitioned to software design. The team had to ensure that the system would be easy for people to access and use. They gave us a choice of colors, animated graphics, logos, and so on. Next, we started the software development aspect of the project.

The system involved various points at which the applicants provided information, which then had to be brought together and integrated on a common platform, with common members and IDs. That data all needed to be hosted on a national platform from the Ministry of Labour.

How did you come to work with Trigma Solutions?

We had an open tender and five or six providers made a bid. We looked at Trigma’s previous experience with government projects and the size of their teams. We wanted a proper team allocated for us that could come to our office to discuss the documentation, then go back and develop the system according to our requirements.

Trigma was selected on various criteria, including operational, financial, prior experience, and knowledge. We interviewed them at a high and low level.

How much have you invested with them?

The total cost was around $500,000. 

What is the status of this engagement?

We worked together from 2015–2017.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Trigma kicked off very fast during the first phases of the project. The security aspect was quite strong, though there were some glitches in the software. Despite that, the public response to the platform was very strong.

We were the first labor department in the country to connect to the central portal of the Ministry of Labor, hosting all the data of the workers, also connected with social security. We dominated the national scene for three years, accomplishing something that no other state could.

How did Trigma Solutions perform from a project management standpoint?

We have a lot of red tape in the government, and Trigma was able to manage our system and coordinate at a high level. They were always willing to come to our office to discuss any changes. A lot of people can build software, but tolerating government bureaucracy and red tape is very tough.

What did you find most impressive about them?

The most important aspect of our engagament was their coordination with us. I didn’t handle the project alone. There were various departments handling various functions, and Trigma coordinated with everybody. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

No. After dealing with us, I think they can deal with anybody.

Do you have any advice for future clients of theirs?

It’s better to have a more limited scope and to focus on a particular subject. Our project was too complex, and Trigma had to work harder because of that. A client with a more focused scope will make very good use of their services.

We were working for one of the business problems of content management where we need an expert on content management services. Trigma had a technical team who had worked on the content management systems tools like Ektron. So for Ektron-content management services project we took their service.

What were your goals for this project?

Our main objective was to streamline the content publishing cycle. We wanted an automated system where we could handle the manuscripts since its inception until it actually reaches to its clients. We also wanted various business checks and balances so that we could control and manage the complete cycle of various authors.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor?

We wanted an expert team on whom we could rely and who could start as early as possible. Since Ektron was a niche tool whose developers were not easily available and luckily Trigma solution in past executed few projects using that tool and willing to extent that experience and ready to start as early.

The project was based on content management systems. Where many authors for different genes publish their content on different platforms. There are various steps involves in publishing the content, we wanted a complete management system for that.

Trigma provided an expert technical team who were well versed with content management systems using Ektron technology. Trigma technical team was responsible for providing the technical solution using a technology called Ektron for our publishing needs.

What was the team composition?

The team was of composed of six people, three were developers, one subject matter experts and two were testers. Developers were responsible for building the tool, subject matter experts was bridging the gap between technical and business scenarios and testers were responsible for testing the builds on the various platform before it reaches production.

Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?

This platform helped the business to handle publishing content globally with more ease. Through this platform, it was easier than before to manage various authors from different geography and to include more authors that had a significant impact on the business.

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

Project management was very effective as their technical team provided us there daily status and they always met their deadlines and communicated us everything effectively well ahead of time.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

I find the most impressive thing is their technical ability to transform the business needs into technical stuff. They had good exposure to the content management system before so on a few occasions they guided business well from a technical perspective.

So far I was quite happy with them with just minor suggestions is to document stuff for their junior engineers so that they could quickly learn and come on board as early as possible.

Within the timeline, the project was delivered and the outcome helps the government senior officers to get the information of the industries which are not being inspected and better rules are designed for the industries owners.

The department officers get the notification of upcoming inspects and within the timeline, officers have to submit their reports to higher authorities online.

The project manager was always physically available which makes communication very easy. The project manager assigns work to designer and developers, which makes very easy for us in the successful implementation of the project.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

The team always presents new and unique ideas that help in the successful implementation of the project. The best thing is the successful implementation on time. Whichever task was assigned to the team it was completed on time.
