What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

As a result of the campaign, we gained four new clients who signed on for year-long contracts with our company. Overall, the SalesAR team was highly professional.

They were available and responsive — they answered all of our questions and gave us a lot of support. 

In addition, the team was timely when it came to reporting results. We communicated via email and had weekly calls every Friday.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

After the onboarding process and launching email campaigns, they carefully studied all incoming replies and since then have corrected the texts themselves based on their experience.

Thanks to the efforts of their SDR and the content department, in the first week, we received several interested responses, which eventually grew into meetings for our sales managers. By the end of the first month, the response rate had increased to 16%, and their SDR was able to make 12 appointments from the database with 750 leads.

They are very flexible and responsive, thanks to which the desired result was achieved. Whenever I had a question, they responded quickly. Email was our primary mode of communication and their responses were very quick.

We went through the onboarding process with their team, then they spent a few days preparing the leads and templates. Also, their anti-spam team purchased a new domain for us and setup the mailboxes. By the end of the first week, they send us everything for a review. After we approved the templates and leads they launched outreach campaigns. Then we had a call once per week where we discussed the booked calls and the SDR worked with our feedback to improve the quality of upcoming booked calls.

After outreach campaign was launched, we started getting a meetings with prospects from our ICP. After the first month of work we got around 15 calls, which was great and met our expectations. Most of these meetings went well in that we conveyed the value of our services and it started a sales cycle.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

We started working with SalesAR back in 2020 and subscribed, at first, for one month followed by an extension for a quarter. Their team of dedicated professionals has been working on our project improving results and statistics. The account manager provided suggestions on how to further improve performance and after approving and implementing them, the results were significantly better.

We have currently paused the campaign because of the summer vacation period but we will resume afterwards. Overall, the result of the campaign has been successful.

We've been having weekly calls with our account manager since the begining of our cooperation.

Their reaction time is super fast. They were always coming up with some new great ideas on how to increase the productivity of our campaigns.

I’m the CEO of Pharmaxi. We provide a full range of services in the clinical trials area to help companies perform clinical research.

What challenge were you trying to address with SalesAR?

Our goal was to generate qualified leads within the pharmaceutical industry, get in contact with these leads, and pitch our services to them. The main challenge was finding companies that would be interested in clinical research services. While there are many companies in the pharmaceutical industry, only a small percentage of them really need these services.

What was the scope of their involvement?

We've tasked them with identifying relevant companies as well as the members of their respective teams who are involved in the decision-making process when selecting vendors for clinical research. We gave them briefing documents that explain the types of companies we're looking for. They qualify the leads internally and contact them acting as representatives of our company. The ultimate goal is to arrange face-to-face meetings via Zoom for me. They send emails to the qualified leads and schedule meetings with the ones that respond.

What is the team composition?

There are at least five people from SalesAR involved, including 1–2 lead generation specialists and a senior lead manager. They qualify the leads and transfer them to the digital team for email correspondence. I communicate directly with the project manager.

How did you come to work with SalesAR?

Their office is on the same floor as ours. We’d met them, and they told us that they generate leads for the B2B industry. We felt they'd be a good fit for us.

How much have you invested with them?

The cost so far is around €10,000 (approximately $12,000 USD).

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working with SalesAR in March 2021. We signed a three-month contract to test their services, which expires in June. We’re discussing a one-month extension of that contract. It won’t be really productive in the summer, but we’re thinking about follow-up projects for September.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

SalesAR promised us at least 20 face-to-face meetings with relevant decision-makers, and we’re close to 40 now. Most of these calls have been with companies interested in clinical trial services. From personal experience, I know that it’s really difficult to identify proper companies and convince relevant persons to communicate about potential services. The complexity of this work is quite high. We offer niche services, and we work for big companies, so it’s not so simple to arrange these meetings. SalesAR has provided me with strong leads. I'm in contact with a lot of them now, trying to create relationships and progress closer to actual contracts.

How did SalesAR perform from a project management standpoint?

They've provided us weekly reports showing what was done and what the email response rate was. We communicate on a weekly basis via email and Zoom. They arrange regular meetings and ask us for feedback on a regular basis. Even if I’m really busy, they adapt to my calendar.

What did you find most impressive about them?

If I ask them to change something, they’re always responsive and they never tell me it’s out of scope. They always try to understand my feedback and adjust accordingly.

Are there any areas they could improve?

They’re good in terms of operational activities, and I’m completely satisfied with their quality of work and communication. If I had to nitpick, though, I would ask that they provide more details about their internal search procedure for contacts. That’s the only area that’s not understandable for me. They did provide a big list to us, so maybe it’s my fault for not taking time to evaluate those contacts.

Do you have any advice for future clients of theirs?

Identify your target audience clearly through what I call “exclusion and inclusion criteria”. The ultimate success of the project is dependent on their clear understanding of who our clients are.

We are realizing the difficulty of mailing to a larger company, SalesAR team began to work on texts that would stand out from others. We began to receive the first positive feedback from SalesAR team after several text corrections and changes in the ICP from their side. It took them almost 3 weeks to schedule the first calls for us.

As a result of 2 months and the processing of 2000 contacts, our team received 6 targeted calls from SalesAR team In general, we liked the accurate database gathered by the research team as well as SDRs effective communication with the prospects, which altogether brought us a few really productive calls.

After an in-depth market analysis and, they assumed that only a few companies are actively developing their projects in March 2020. What is more, even fewer business owners are ready to invest in their business development.

At the same time, many companies that were working online started to boost their sales, which is why they decided to reach out to them as it could be the perfect time to improve, and in this case, software development help was definitely what had been required. They research team concentrated on a few sectors: online shops, online movie theaters and e-learning solutions. Online businesses had been rapidly developing and were ready to consider collaboration with IT-companies like us.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

For us, it was the first experience of utilizing cold outreach for our lead generation and SalesAR managed to show great results during the pandemic, 1% conversion rate, which turned out to be more effective than the traditional lead generation methods the company used to have.

What astonished me was the fact that the company doesn't use the one-size-fits-all templates in their work and has an individual approach to everything, from communication to templates writing and database compilation. Despite all the difficulties and delays, the SalesAR team managed to provide the desired outcomes and even surpassed us expectations by arranging more than 40 calls in the first month.
