ROCKETECH delivered the agreed specifications, an interim video of the tool in action before it was released into production, and several improvements in a live environment, including bug fixes and cosmetic improvements.

Project management was strong, and communication was clear and consistent throughout the engagement. The team was responsive, proactive, and available whenever clarification was needed.

Any delays or adjustments were largely due to changes and internal uncertainty on our side, which required additional alignment. RocketTech handled these situations professionally and remained flexible and supportive as requirements evolved.

Overall, they demonstrated solid project management, patience, and a collaborative approach under shifting conditions.

What stood out most was their strong understanding of modern digital products and emerging trends. They were well-versed in current and future-facing app ecosystems and approached ideas with an open, solution-oriented mindset.

Nothing felt too ambitious or “impossible” to explore, and they consistently translated big-picture concepts into practical technical thinking. They also took the time to understand my creative style and vision, which made collaboration smooth and aligned throughout the project.

There were no major areas for improvement. The team was thorough, detail-oriented, and consistently delivered with a high level of care and professionalism.

We did have high expectations on deliverables and timing, project did span over holiodays and new years which was expected to delay the delevopment and deployment. ROCKETECH was always candid about roadblocks and if there was a delay in deliverables. No major delays were apparent during this project and RockeTech hasalso been were helpfull within and outsidie of retainer scope after the completion of the project.

We needed support developing our mobile app.

What was the scope of their involvement?

ROCKETECH was responsible for the app's technical development, and my company was responsible for its design. We provided the app's design, and ROCKETECH managed development. We worked in a dynamic way, and both teams provided feedback to each other. ROCKETECH developed the app from scratch for iOS and Android devices. I created the app account on the Google Play Store, and the team has finished developing the app and is working on resolving bugs and implementing changes.

We worked with six teammates from ROCKETECH, including the CEO, an account manager, a backend developer, a mobile device developer, and a frontend developer.

We've spent around $250,000 on this project.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working with ROCKETECH a year ago, and our engagement is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

ROCKETECH has launched our app, which had around 5,000 downloads in the first month. Users are completing purchases within the app, and the launch has been a success, although it has still a long way to go. I'm satisfied with ROCKETECH's work quality. We work closely with the team in the development, providing feedback and the required guidelines. ROCKETECH has delivered a good-quality outcome, and the entire team does a great job. 

How did ROCKETECH perform from a project management standpoint?

ROCKETECH defined an initial budget that we exceeded; however, this was because the project required extra work we hadn't initially scoped out. The team gave us a base budget of $80,000 and built on top of that, and I was aware going over budget was possible. We communicate via email and Google Meet. We have two weekly meetings to define the scope and ensure we achieve goals. I usually meet with the CEO, who receives my feedback. 

We work with a team with medium-level experience. Our company has corrected several details, which is common in software development projects. 

Are there any employees from the service provider's team that you would like to give a shout-out to in this review?

I want to highlight our account manager, who does a great job in managing the project.

Are there any areas they could improve?

The team has made a few mistakes but corrected them based on my feedback. I can't point out anything that ROCKETECH needs to improve. 

Do you have any advice for future clients of theirs?

I suggest having frequent communication with ROCKETECH and attending meetings with the team. I also suggest being punctual with your payments because the team will complete the scope quicker. Communication depends on the client and product owners, I like to be part of the project's development to ensure the desired outcome and achieve a product our audience will like.

Some of the successful projects I launched together with the Rocketech team include an educational application, a productivity tool application, a few gambling projects, corporate websites, website designs, and web platforms.

At first, I needed more speed and flexibility in terms of reallocating necessary specialists from one project to another. It turned out their commitment and approach to work outweighed fast resource shifting. But with past cooperation, now this problem is no longer there, which is very good and interesting For some projects, I’d also prefer them to take the Product Owner role and make more decisions.
