I’m the founder and CEO of PursuitTeam.ai, an AI-powered business development and capture management services company for government contractors. We help clients automate and optimize processes to find, qualify, and win more government contracts.

What challenge were you trying to address with RapidDev?

We needed to bring the stage one MVP of BD Signal™ from concept into a working product under an aggressive timeline. BD Signal™ is an AI-powered opportunity intelligence platform designed to help government contractors identify, evaluate, and prioritize the right pursuits by matching live opportunity data against contractor profiles, capabilities, NAICS codes, agency targets, past performance, and other fit criteria.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

RapidDev has helped us build the stage one MVP of BD Signal™. The team has built functionality around opportunity ingestion, contractor-profile matching, AI-assisted scoring, and pursue/pass recommendations — the core components we need to validate the stage one product vision. RapidDev has also built the following features:

• SAM.gov integration: Connect to SAM.gov public API, manual trigger to pull RFIs/RFPs, map response to opportunity card schema
• Data cleanup: Fix blank fields and UNKNOWN-IDENTIFIER issues across existing opportunity cards, normalize field mapping from API response 
• Company profile form: Build form UI (NAICS codes, capabilities, contract vehicles, certifications, past performance, disqualifiers, agency targets), save profile to DB/local storage
• AI scoring engine: Office hours for technical questions, implementation review, and team enablement
• Opportunity card UI: Display scored cards with score badge, fit sary, rationale, pursue/pass tag, clean and demo-ready layout
• Demo flow and polish: End-to-end QA of the full demo path (load profile → pull opps → score → show cards), fix visual inconsistencies, loading states

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We have a live stage one MVP that we can demo with real data and present to potential customers. We’ve also seen increased interest from potential customers. RapidDev’s work has given PursuitTeam.ai a tangible product foundation and helped us accelerate conversations around pilots, partnerships, and future stage two development.

How did RapidDev perform from a project management standpoint?

RapidDev has delivered on time. We meet regularly to discuss progress and work through any operational blockers. Our primary forms of communication are virtual meetings and emails or messaging apps.

What did you find most impressive about them?

RapidDev’s speed, flexibility, and willingness to engage with a business problem that requires more than just coding stand out. The team is very easy to work with and extremely open to new ideas and methods. RapidDev has also worked directly with my internal technical partner, who started the platform build, to glean his institutional knowledge.

Rapid Dev did a full evaluation of the site, fixed the bugs, corrected the workflows and got the site launch ready. Big Thanks to Eugene Kviatkevich, Ivan Kochergin, and their Team. Its hard to jump into a trustworthy relationship with a Dev team if you have been burned before, and this team proved thier worth. I am satisfied with my decision to transition to Rapid Dev.

Workflows worked from start to finish, The links took you where they were designed to take you, Cleaned up website UI Clutter, Fast PM responce, quick development and mainly they always communicated and never made up excuses.

This project was different, it was not a clean build, its a different challenge to take on someone elses mess and turn it into a swiss watch, I am satisfied with the time frame and the outcome.

The team built the entire application from the ground up, handling everything from initial concept to design and full functionality. We started with a raw idea and worked together to shape it into clear, ROI-driven features that set us up for a strong and focused MVP. From there, they designed the app in Figma—creating something that not only looks great but is also intuitive and easy to use. Once the design was finalized, they brought it to life in Bubble, building out all the functionality with a high level of precision and attention to detail. What really stood out was how collaborative the process felt. At every stage, they actively incorporated my feedback, continuously refining and improving the product. In many ways, they elevated the app beyond what I originally imagined, delivering something far more polished and impactful than I thought possible.

RapidDev has done an incredible job bringing this app to life—delivering a final product that far exceeds what I originally hoped for. From both a functionality and design standpoint, the app feels polished, intuitive, and thoughtfully built. What’s been especially validating is the overwhelmingly positive feedback we’ve received from users during beta testing. Many have specifically called out how easy the app is to use and how clean, well-structured, and intentional the design feels. It’s clear that RapidDev didn’t just build what was asked—they elevated the entire experience, creating something that truly resonates with users.

How did RapidDev perform from a project management standpoint?

RapidDev consistently delivered on time and maintained clear, reliable communication throughout the entire process. I was kept in the loop at every stage, which made the experience feel smooth and well-managed from start to finish. We primarily communicated through email and messaging apps, and the team was always responsive and easy to reach. Paul, in particular, stood out—he was incredibly proactive, quick to respond, and highly effective at incorporating feedback. We needed to take Figma design files of an entire application and turn them into a Bubble.io app.

What was the scope of their involvement?

RapidDev has been able to build the entire front end and coordinate with backend developers to create the app from design to a functional app. The team has converted Figma files into a functional Bubble website and provided services and support on how to iterate the front end of the application based on user feedback. Moreover, they've found a way to connect a complicated backend PostgreSQL database to the Bubble app. RapidDev has built the entire frontend, including the home page, dashboard, analytics dashboard, social network, and various features like discussion boards, investment research collaboration documents, financial documents, chat tools, and more.

RapidDev has turned our Figma files into a functional website within about 6–8 months.

How did RapidDev perform from a project management standpoint?

RapidDev has delivered on time. The main designs have been completed, but there have been a handful of bugs that we've had to fix, which wasn't surprising and was expected. Although the bugs have delayed the launch, the team has been able to resolve them in a meaningful amount of time. Some bugs have been simple fixes, while others have been complicated and needed a little more time to resolve. RapidDev's project management hasn't been the best at first, as their sales team wasn't aligned with their development team. However, they've been able to resolve all the issues I've had, and we've changed how we operate to a more flexible model that makes sense for everyone. We primarily communicate through virtual meetings, emails, and messaging apps.

What did you find most impressive or unique about them?

RapidDev has been able to take a very complicated project that has many ambiguous features or functions (I haven't been 100% sure how it was supposed to work) and help me create it into an efficient application.

Are there any areas they could improve?

There has been misalignment in the fixed budgets and how much time it would take them to complete a project, as well as how long it would take them to fix bugs. However, this has been resolved after working through it. The team has improved and is open to feedback, which is great.

RapidDev completed the project with the features we asked for. The AI voice agent is yet to be fully deployed, but it will enable us to market the new feature to different audiences. Moreover, the feature saves users time.

How did RapidDev perform from a project management standpoint?

RapidDev's communication was good. The project leaders had great communication using Slack and had a helpful setup for remote teams. However, there were some delays regarding the project's start date. Our primary form of communication was in-person meetings.

What did you find most impressive about them?

RapidDev's communication responsiveness via Slack and the internal testing they did were impressive.

They could have done better regarding timing.

RapidDev is the only company that took this project paswt the finish line. everything that they have done, has been total success. I would not choose any other developers for future projects.

WHen dealing with alot of developers today, you don't really get the feel that they are keeping up with what is going on in the development word.
