• Despite an evolving scope, RapidDev was able to communicate clarification points and suggested workarounds, in a highly proactive and clear manner. 
• Our regular weekly sync helped me track our progress and in the rare cases there were delays, workarounds and corrective actions were performed.

They produced the deliverables on time and on budget. The project manager was highly engaged, and their leadership leaned in from time to time as well. If there was a certain bottleneck, the PM and leadership also served as thought partners for solving problems and developing a work around.

Their communication skills are pretty strong. Weekly syncs over Loom helped prevent unnecessary meetings, their emails were succinct and structured, and each meeting concluded with reviews of action items on myside and their side. This helped me maintain my confidence throughout the project.

A unique aspect of our project was that it required a web-app in an English and non-English version. For the non-English version, there was a translation process that felt unstructured with loose ends. Additionally, there was a change of scope in the middle of the building phase, and the timeline impact of these changes could have been better communicated.

Rapid Dev worked on building out a robust MVP using the wireframes that our team had already designed. They used Bubble as key development technology; they did a bit of design work, but 99% of their tasks were development.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

Rapid Dev has been truly collaborative whenever issues come up. Their team effort is good in terms of getting over any obstacles, and Matt can jump in and resolve things quite quickly. As a result, there hasn’t been much of a gridlock during the project. The product’s quality is hard to check because it’s not yet out, but the test results we’ve been seeing are solid. 

How did Rapid Dev perform from a project management standpoint?

Rapid Dev has been able to meet our deadlines and stay on budget. To communicate, we use email, Slack, video conferencing, and phone calls. Matt is instrumental in ensuring we’re taken care of and the process runs smoothly. He handles every minor hiccup and is always reachable on his phone — he’s truly involved in the process.

Their transparency and communication are impressive.

No, there aren’t any. It’s been a fluid and smooth process overall.
