Weekly video updates illustrating the progress of the buildout. Delivering a product that was exactly as we specified.

They always delivered on time. They were prompt with research and follow up.They communicated clearly and frequently. Weekly updates were delivered through Loom videos. Our project was delayed many times on our end, which caused them to have to halt and wait for us, and their project team was very patient and understanding through all of it.

We needed a partner to build a robust and secure frontend to our database, allowing our customers to access our large database of companies and navigate the filters.

Rapid Dev built our software primarily using the no-code platform, Bubble. Beyond that, they provided custom HTML work.

 We wanted to ensure the project was done quickly at a reasonable price and adhered to best engineering practices.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

They delivered on time and on budget. Rapid Dev took the time to understand what we were trying to deliver to our customers and built a product that did exactly that; they delivered pixel-for-pixel what we asked for.

How did the company perform from a project management standpoint?

They were highly professional. One of the best parts of working with Rapid Dev is that they’re highly communicative. At no point did I feel like I was being kept in the dark; they explained every part of the negotiation, contracting, and building processes in great detail. Throughout the project, they maintained a constant flow of communication that made it easy to understand their status. They immediately reached out if they had questions.

What did you find most impressive about them?

I’d highlight the high-touch nature of working with them. Rapid Dev treated us like they’d treat any large company, even though we were a two-person company with a low budget. Their rapid and constant communication made them a pleasure to work with.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, any limitations were a result of the platform we used.

Do you have any advice for future clients of theirs?

Give back what Rapid Dev gives to you; the project worked best when I communicated with the same frequency as them. 

Also, be super clear about your request. The more specificity you can give about functionality, security, speed, storage, and UX/UI, the less room there is for dissatisfaction.

Our initial MVP specification was too large to successfully deliver within the project timeframe, and ultimately had to be reduced mid-flight. Estimation is an understandable challenge for many development groups, but it would have been more helpful if the risk for in-flight cuts had been better communicated at the onset. And to be clear...this is purely constructive feedback. RapidDev navigated this situation very professionally in-flight.
