I'm the managing director of a delivery service and transportation company.

What challenge were you trying to address with Quantumz?

We hired Quantumz to develop a rideshare app.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Quantumz developed a new app for our taxi business that operated with around 5,000 drivers in the Melbourne area. They developed everything from scratch and deployed it to the Google Play Store and Apple App Store. Once the app was launched, they provided ongoing support and continued development services. However, we removed the app from the market during the COVID-19 pandemic. 

Now, we're working with Quantumz to relaunch the app. I'm collaborating with Quantumz's team to scope the new project and set timelines.

I've worked closely with Quantumz's development team and their team lead. 

How did you come to work with Quantumz?

When I was initially scoping the project, I was referred to Quantumz by another vendor I'd reached out to who couldn't execute the project. 

How much have you invested with them?

We've invested $35,000–$40,000 with Quantumz so far. 

What is the status of this engagement?

Our original project with Quantumz was from October 2017–July 2019. However, we recently restarted our partnership with Quantumz. 

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

For the original project, we measured the app's uptime to determine its success — we only experienced three hours of downtime. We also tracked whether or not our consumers and partners could easily operate the app. The initial deployment was within our timeline, which is why we decided to work with Quantumz again. 

How did Quantumz perform from a project management standpoint?

I've worked with outsourced providers before, but Quantumz delivered as close to my timeline as possible, which I haven't experienced with other partners. Our communication was good; we used Zoho and Basecamp to manage the project and communicate. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

Quantumz's communication and ability to deliver on time and to the project's scope were extremely impressive. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

I have nothing for Quantumz to improve. 

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

I'd suggest that customers take the time to scope the project so Quantumz can deliver to it properly. Customers need to be clear about project objectives.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

Project was delivered according to our requirements, there were some to and from communication required and R&D was required due to changing circumstances but it was handled well by the team

They use mix of Agile and Scrum methodology and communication was on top. We used many tools like Slack, Jira and Confluence

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Most impressive about them was their communication and willingness to solve the problems which they did effectively.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Documentation can be improved, but it was all good

Needed a way to engage the supply management of drugs with utilization and integration of our EMR solution, deliver full scope of telehealth and patient management

How did you select Quantumz and what were the deciding factors?

We narrowed down from 6 to 2 vendors, one being Quatumz. We chose them due to level of healthcare industry knowledge, previous recommendation and the project deliverable scope, specific agile timelines and executions in timeline manner.

Multiple third integration requirement with government API, push notification. ASP web based with both android and IOS apps

There were 5 core team. 1 project manager, 2 backend and 2 front end.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

We did launch our application a month early with full QA. This has improved in our operation cost and we already see material savings. We plan to add additional modules and engage with them again for another project.

The project management were diligent, easily accessible and well managed in our change management process. They understood the task on hand right away and helped deliver the solution on time

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

DIrect access to the team. They were a text or a call away for a quick discussion. their exceptional responsiveness and dedication to our work made easy our communication. The most impressive part was their healthcare background which made the discussion relatively easy

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Quality of work was excellent, communication and timeline deliverables were exactly as it was agreed upon. No complaints.
