I'm the owner of a film production company. We make inspiring films using talent that wouldn't normally get opportunities within the film industry due to geographical & vocational reasons. We also started a streaming solution for our films to be released on.

We completed our website two years ago (streaming site) but we were not getting the conversion rate we hoped for - it started to look like we'd have to close the site but after hiring PurpleFire EVERYTHING CHANGED!

We had a kick-off meeting to discuss where we could improve the sight (which they were happy to implement). The suggestions included: Add a pop-up to your site, Remove unnecessary form fields, Add testimonials, reviews, and logos, Remove distractions & Make the initial step really easy. Within the first month of implementing these changes we saw amazing growth and it's been climbing steadily ever since.

A project manager was our main point of contact throughout the process. The project manager worked with 1developer and a designer the entire time!.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

After implementing the alterations, we saw a 80% increase in traffic. Our income doubled month over month. Clients love the updated design. Our streaming site is running efficiently.

We had daily stand-ups with their project manager - which were run efficiently (often no longer than 5 minutes) If there were any delays, they let us know ahead of time so that we could prepare. We used Slack to communicate and every Friday we would have a Review meeting where they would show us through the progress.

There service is extremely professional. Their communication is amazing! Their communication was exceptional, and the quality of work produced weekly was unimaginable!

Honestly, nothing I can think of. I was very satisfied with their service.

I was most impressed with how friendly and willing they were to work with me, even though since I don't have a lot of technical expertise sometimes the stuff I requested wasn't articulated in the clearest way haha. I was also impressed with how up-to-date their design team is.

What challenge were you trying to address with PurpleFire?

I needed to engage a web development company with experience building Shopify websites. Our goal was to find a partner who could build a website within our budget and time frame.

What was the scope of their involvement?

First, I provided PurpleFire with a detailed project brief and webpage designs. Then, the team built a Shopify website from scratch using JavaScript and CSS. They also expanded the functionality to accommodate pricing filters, a shopping cart feature, and a checkout feature. The site is a traditional e-commerce website that allows users to log in and search for products.

Although they’ve completed the website, the team has been working on finalizing the design and tweaking user functionality.

We initially found PurpleFire through Clutch, and they had great reviews. We chose them because they had strong e-commerce experience and technical proficiency in Shopify. We spoke with the head of development, who was knowledgeable and seemed capable of getting the job done in our required time frame. After they reviewed our designs, they quoted a competitive price, so we moved forward.

We started working with PurpleFire in August 2022, and the project is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

Since we haven’t launched the site to users yet, I can’t share any success measures. However, they’ve been a fantastic development partner, and we’ve been pleased with their work. They’ve shared valuable Shopify expertise, which has helped us avoid pitfalls and overcome unforeseen challenges with the UI.

How did PurpleFire perform from a project management standpoint?

PurpleFire has been an accommodating, flexible partner throughout the engagement. They’ve dedicated a team of knowledgeable, professional Shopify experts to our project. Working with them has been easy, and they haven’t charged us for minor tweaks, which we’ve appreciated. We’ve primarily used Zoom, Slack, and email to communicate.

What did you find most impressive about them?

I’ve been impressed with the PurpleFire team’s significant Shopify knowledge and e-commerce experience. They’ve worked hard to achieve a quick turnaround time to meet our tight deadlines. Furthermore, they’ve seen the project through from beginning to end versus just delivering on the requirements and running off.

We had discovery meetings with the sales team and designers, and then went through several review processes along the way. It was a super good process, that allowed us to build out the websites gradually, with a consistent thread of thought rather than a bit random, which is how we had done it in the past.

We had 3 different designers working with us on our various projects, which was a great way to get different input, but also see that the SOPs were consistent through the business

We managed to take a portfolio of average websites with little to no lead gen or revenue and turn them into powerhouses. One one site we 4x the revenue, and on another we 3x the lead gen.

Extremely good. We had regular meetings to go through the projects, and the teams response rate to emails queries was phenomenal.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

The attention to detail, and the attention to me, the client, was amazing. At every stage of the process they listened to my feedback, but also wasn't afraid to share their expertise and tell me when I was wrong. I can't wait to work with them on more projects!

I think they were pretty spot on. As a client you always want things to go faster, and be cheaper, but I have nothing to fault them on here. They had a slick process and delivered great results.

we had a problem with low conversions on our store and since we deal with b2b each customer is worth a lot of money. they often email us their order after ordering once on our website. The audit give awesome insights and revealed that our site has many issues. we then worked on implementing fixes and split testing afterward and we saw a big impact after that.

we doubled our revenue and conversion rate after 4 months. i would say the bar was very low but on the other hand they were so efficient about the work and knew exactly what they were doing

i think the fast results and the fact that we didnt have to be on the ball but they were just handling all of it and sending reports biweekly. this was really important for us

We’ve doubled our conversion rate since working with PurpleFire. Their services are great and affordable. Our sales have increased by 9%, while our AOB has risen by about 20%. We’re continuing to improve these in the coming months.

PurpleFire’s communication is great. We’re on Slack, so they can respond to us immediately if we have any questions. We also use Figma, Google Meet, and emails.

Their communication is impressive. On top of that, they work on the same platforms as us, so we move things forward effectively. Finally, they’ve delivered results.

I wish we’d brought in an art designer earlier to align the team on the site’s look and feel. Overall, they’re great at backend tasks, but their frontend skills need a little work.

Maintain communication on Slack, and use platforms like Figma to constantly make changes if necessary. Lastly, communicate early on about the designs.

It was well received both internally and externally when the website was refreshed. Based on the conversations we had, and our market strengths, they helped define, identify, and produce a project's scope and output.

Their project management software makes responding to emails fairly easy. It takes more time than we expected to build a website since we underestimated the amount of time it takes. Despite not meeting our deadlines, they managed to meet ours.

It is impressive how clean and fresh their designs are They also discussed any issues we may have once the mockup had been prepared. The conversation was also well conducted to ensure we got the best results.

There is a lot of promptness and responsiveness from their team. Almost everything we want changed on the website is handled within 24 hours. It was even delivered before the expected deadline.

We were looking for an eCommerce site that operated outside our North American site. It needed to be faster and in local languages. It also needed to integrate with various warehouses and our ERP system.

We met PurpleFire during a conference in the US and they were recommended by several colleagues. We shortlisted to a few firms including our internal developers. They were experienced, understood our needs and were able to make our timelines.

Main scope of work was to duplicate our already proven site that operated on a proprietary platform. Initiate phase was to create a theme we could use in any country which could be easily Sou-up as demand grew. Second phase was to create our Europe version in three languages. Speed is exceptional Look and feel actually improved upon our North American site. Data integration was clean and smooth.
