Since we started working with PurpleFire, we saw our conversions go up month over month. More potential customers are contacting us now and I believe it is due to the website they have built for us. Customers have also told us several times how easy it is to navigate and use our website.

I like that Purplefire assigned a project manager for us. it made it very easy to communicate with them. They were always proactive and would let us know whenever they had any updates for us. We used Slack for communication. They made a channel just for us.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

I like how they kept overdelivering in every aspect. They were quick to come up with ideas and suggestions for the project we had asked them to do. They were ahead of schedule the whole time and we didn't feel we ever had to follow up on anything. This made the whole process so much easier.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

So we did not know that had so many offerings. We got a SaaS idea we want to develop soon but it was only when we were done with the original project, that we learned they also handle this type of work. They should tell us about all their offerings sooner in the process!

The project involved everything from a complete redesign or our theme, a complete rebrand and web development. We had many custom template requirements from different page types with complex functionality. Everything from server side to site updates were carried out including the creation of custom themes for us to utilize.

We had talks with everyone from the CEO to the head of development. We were assigned a project manager & we had a graphic designer, front end dev, back end dev assigned to us

After the refresh we saw an uptick in CTR rates, time spent on the page & much faster page speeds which dramatically aided our SEO. We also got compliments from other travelers who visited the site for its design.

We used skype, trello & the communication was always crisp & clear. Their team is extremely receptive to feedback and changes which is a rare commodity in general. They aced most of the time requirements we set. Having delays due to changes requested is fairly normal but other than that all expectations were met

2 things really stand out. The quality of the website they delivered. We've never had this kind of an experience with a developer. Secondly , their eagerness to make sure we were satisfied and our expectations were met. They went the extra mile which we appreciate

Not too many. With PurpleFire, you would definitely get a premium experience.

Was initially recommended by two friends that had a great experience. Tested them out on a smaller project initially and communication level was outstanding, so started multiple other projects that have been successfully been completed.

Got our new businesses start up faster than expected (always add at least 50% to whatever timeline a dev company gives me, based on past experiences. However, all our projects have been delivered on time and on budget.

Check-in's based on milestones, always prior communication if they expected to be behind on any milestone and clear actions they were going to take to catch up, to ensure project was delivered on time.

100% on time and on budget - Communication also really impressive.

We had very specific briefs, so I didn't really get to experience them adding value with great suggestions etc, but I recon based on the results so far that they would be decent at that piece as well.

We had a call to explain everything about the company that needs the website and its goals. The first task/step was to deliver to us a design that we would approve. Already the first design was great and we approved it with just a few tweaks that should be done. After the design has been approved they start working on the website. The website has been built with WordPress CMS. We have a lot of custom things/plugins that they needed to custom build for us.

We go thru everything with their owner and dev manager. Later on, we didn't know how many people worked on this project as we mainly talked all the time with the dev manager.

All our requirements have been accomplished. As we are an SEO company, this include, clear code, a fast website, great design with good CTA positions, etc. In, general they did a great job, both our client and we are happy and what is most important after we lunch it, it start fast to grow on Google.

They really listen to your needs. They do not just build some random, "normal" generated design. The design was really unique and already optimized for conversions, which was very important for us. With other agencies, this wasn't the case. Also, they finish the job before the date we agreed.

We wanted our website to have a fresher design to meet the demands of the current market. As a complex project with many custom-made elements inside of WordPress, it was crucial to count with experienced developers so the site didn't get bloated with too much JavaScript code and affected our metrics performance for Google Ranking. They presented us a fresh design, with a very neat UI, integration for the store, blog and podcast; also different templates for the product categories, and ongoing support.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We searched via different platforms for qualified developers in Europe, and after looking at their portfolio, price range and estimated time of delivery, it seemed the perfect call.

The entire project was managed via Slack, with ongoing videocalls to discuss specific details. We had a test server in which the new site design was being tested, so that way we didn't interrupt our operations. One crucial item was to test the site as a customer, so that way we were able to review in which aspects customers may be driven away and how to fix them - and PurpleFire was amazing with that as they immediately addressed the issue, and proposed a new solution (sometimes several) for us to test again. For the email marketing elements, PSD files were delivered to us as mockups.

A project manager was our ongoing contact. Also the company owner, and their team of designers, frontend and backend developers.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

After launching the new site the conversion rate significantly increased. For us, the key element of this project was to increase the security layers for our customer's data, and that went even beyond our expectations.

We had Skype/Slack calls, Slack workspace to discuss the entire project so our team could also give feedback to the different areas of this project. And whenever we reported an issue, that was done via email, with less than 2 hrs between the response time with a solution.

The down-to-earth approach so people that are not familiar with web development can easily understand what's being created or changed at any stage of the project.

Despite the timezone differences (we're an international team), we didn't experience any inconveniences. Mostly they had to wait for us to reply as they texted too early for our timezone.

PurpleFire was supposed to do a full redo of our website. They only did the landing page and parts of the checkout flow.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

The 60% of the contract they actually completed turned out fairly good. Our conversion rate went up 4x pretty instantly.

How did PurpleFire perform from a project management standpoint?

They never completed the project. They did 60% of the contract and then bailed after taking the payment. When we tried to resolve the issue amicably, they simply stopped responding. Their leadership team simply stopped responding when client satisfaction dipped.

What did you find most impressive or unique about them?

The parts of their project they completed, they did fairly good at.

They only completed 60% of their contract before they simply ghosted us.

Thank you for the review. We appreciate your acknowledgment that the work delivered performed well and contributed to a significant conversion lift after launch.

We do, however, need to correct the record on scope and project completion.

PurpleFire completed the full scope defined in the signed agreement for this project: the homepage / main PDP, optimized cart flow, About page, and Contact page. The dispute was not about us completing “60% of the contract”. It was about requests for additional pages and broader website changes beyond the signed scope, including a larger “full site redo” interpretation that was not part of the executed agreement.

Throughout the engagement, our team continued responding in writing, clarifying scope, documenting deliverables, and proposing practical ways to close the project professionally. We did not “ghost” or “bail”. We also made several good-faith efforts to help with questions and requests that went beyond the original scope, without additional charge.

We understand there was frustration and a mismatch between expectations and the written agreement. We take that seriously and have already reviewed internally how to make sales language, invoice wording, and scope handoff even clearer in future projects.

We are proud that the delivered work created real business impact, and we wish UAVA Labs continued success.
