I’m the VP of projects at EconoLease, a company that provides flexible financing, leasing, rental, and funding solutions that help hospitality and foodservice businesses acquire the equipment they need to start, grow, and operate their businesses.

What challenge were you trying to address with Purple Sales?

We needed help re-engaging existing customers through a few different campaigns.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Purple Sales provided outbound calling services to our warm leads and existing customers to interest them in coming back for more financing for new equipment. This was done through a few campaigns, each with different goals. The primary deliverable was setting up warm leads for our internal sales team.In addition, Purple Sales provided an extensive amount of reports, including call logs, HubSpot data, Excel files, and Microsoft Teams chats.

We tracked the number of callbacks that Purple Sales scheduled.

How did Purple Sales perform from a project management standpoint?

Purple Sales delivered on time. We communicated via virtual meetings, email, and Microsoft Teams.

What did you find most impressive about them?

We were impressed by how involved the SDRs were with the day-to-day work and the high-level discussions. Sometimes, there’s a major separation between the people making the actual calls and the client, but this wasn’t the case with Purple Sales. This made answering questions and brainstorming ideas much easier.

There’s nothing we can come up with.

We partnered with Purple Sales to create a formal sales presentation deck to support our lead generation and sales process efforts. In addition, this presentation deck was the start of a new branding initiative for our organization and would support the future digital marketing assets. Key deliverables included new branding and development of the sales presentation deck over a 2 month period.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The measurable outcomes for success was a professional and impactful sales presentation deck. Additionally, the vendor engagement, experience and consultation factors were significant contributors to a successful process and completed sales presentation deck.

They delivered items on time throughout all stages of the process with precision. They responded to my needs and requests very well throughout the project.

I can not think of anything, as they were on point for all our needs and project milestones resulting in a highly effective sales presentation.

Purple sales identified and qualified numerous opportunities, several of which successfully closed for the client. This was the only measurable deliverable that was sought.

Excellent onboarding and ongoing project management approach and team. They produced high-quality information and responded to our needs correctly and in a timely fashion.

A culture truly oriented towards growth. They get excited about the customer's business and goals. Their leader sets the bar for excellence high and manages to attract and retain high performers. Clear vision and articulation of the value they want to bring to their customers.

Are there any areas for improvement or something Purple Sales could have done differently?

I have suggested that when Purple Sales senses that a customer doesn't have a firm grasp over its own value proposition, target market, and personas, Purple Sales should conduct a slightly more rigorous and facilitated discovery with the customer to clarifies all of those points prior to developing the inbound and outbound marketing playbooks. However, for customers that have a firm handle on these elements, there is very little if nothing for Purple Sales to improve in its approach.

They had some turnover in the beginning that created friction, but that stabilized.
