Perfect Systems provided a full end-to-end blockchain solution tailored specifically for our unique needs in the veterinary telemedicine space. The scope of work included developing a custom private blockchain network to securely log consultation data, prescription issuance, and vet approvals. They designed smart contracts that allowed for real-time verification of veterinarian credentials, audit trails for medical decisions, and access permissions for users and regulators.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We saw tangible changes once the blockchain system was live. Most notably, support queries related to data discrepancies dropped significantly. When pet owners requested access to past consultation records, the process became quicker and more reliable. One specific example: a vet’s consultation history was requested during a regulatory audit, and the new system provided a tamper-proof record within seconds, which would’ve taken us hours to compile manually before.

Another huge benefit was around prescriptions. With the blockchain tracking mechanism in place, vets reported fewer issues around prescription duplication or errors. This increased their confidence in the system and led to more consistent usage of our internal tools.

I began by sharing my vision with Perfect Systems. They then built a web portal from scratch.
This portal allows us to provide children’s services and connect with children’s homes providers.
Its main function is similar to Airbnb’s whereby if a user is looking for something, the portal
matches them with another user who is providing it.
Perfect Systems made the portal closed to the public since it’s meant for government use,
specifically by social services commissioners who are looking to find homes and beds for
children that are in care or in the system. The team also developed it so that suppliers could
gain access and post their available homes or beds.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The portal is still a work in progress, but each time I meet with Perfect Systems, they wow me
with what they achieve and how they’re evolving the project from the initial idea. They come
forward with suggestions, covering things I haven’t even thought about nor knew were possible.
I can’t speak highly enough about Perfect Systems. I am amazed that they’ve managed to turn
my vision into a reality considering the project is so niche and involves so much intricate detail.
The team is able to make sense of all the material and documents I provided them. I am so glad
that I chose to partner with them because, so far, they have not let me down. They are
excellent, and I am so pleased with them.

The various features, concepts, and technologies for our project were included in the business strategy paper that Perfect Systems created.  To help us understand what was technically feasible, they also provided us with an estimate and recommendations for a variety of off-the-shelf options. They assisted us in creating our cloud-native API prototype, which included all of the necessary UI and features.  We would review and provide feedback on the options the team offered on Figma for the user interface.  They would then make the necessary adjustments based on our feedback.  In essence, they worked on how staff members would utilize the system.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

By showing our potential partners and investors how our platform would operate, the team got feedback that our design was user-friendly.  People commented on how thorough our features were.

 We were also grateful that the team shared their ideas with us on how to make our platform's user interface look its best.  Speaking with them and getting their opinion on our proposal was really beneficial.  As they collaborated with us and assisted us in creating our product, we truly felt as though they were a member of our team.

I gave Perfect Systems a high-level overview of the project requirements at the beginning of the engagement, outlining the site's functioning and delivering drawings.  They then returned with an estimate. Our website is still being developed by the team.  React and Node.js are being used for the front-end and back-end, respectively.  They also make use of AWS or Serverless.  They also lead our efforts to integrate email and Google Maps.  After that, they will create a landing page that follows our design. All things considered, they are solely responsible for coding our website.

They are able to adhere to our predetermined timeline, and we have successfully published the MVP of our website.

Prior to working with Perfect Systems I had worked with another team, and they were unable to complete our project.  The fact that Perfect Systems has highly skilled developers and an agile team that can launch our product makes them a welcome change.  In contrast to some agencies that are more concerned with making money, they are disciplined and focused on meeting our criteria.

Are there any areas for improvement or something Perfect Systems could have done differently?

None
