I’m the digital marketing specialist for a nationwide roofing company. I handle anything and everything digital that goes out.

What challenge were you trying to address with Oyova?

We do all door-to-door sales, with four subsidiary brands that we act under. We were working with a team for our web development needs, but they weren’t meeting what we needed. We were growing pretty quick and needed someone to help us quickly and efficiently improve our website so it was top quality.

What was the scope of their involvement?

We recently updated a series of landing pages for everything on our site with them. Since COVID-19, we couldn’t go knocking on doors anymore, so we had to figure out a better way to attract homeowners to our business. This led to their team helping us develop a referral program. We designed it on our end and then their team developed it. 

They supported all of our brands by creating several landing pages. They’ve also helped us translate everything on one of our websites to Spanish, since we work with a lot of Spanish-speaking subcontractors.

Beth is my point of contact for anything I need help with, and she disperses it to her team. I’ve spoken to about 3–4 people from their team, but I’m sure there’s more.

How did you come to work with Oyova?

Our director of marketing knows the owner of the company. When we were done with the previous relationship, it was an easy no-brainer to go with them since we knew they do quality work. 

How much have you invested with them?

We probably spend around $1,500 per month with them. We’ve spent in the range of $10,000–$15,000. 

What is the status of this engagement?

We’ve been working together since November 2019.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

They’ve helped us prosper during COVID-19; without their work, we wouldn’t be able to flourish like we are. Without the new landing page for the referral program, we likely would have lost some jobs and not be doing as well as we currently are. Within a day, the page was up and running efficiently. 

They’ve really helped us reach other cultures than the ones we normally target. Being able to switch the site over to Spanish has really helped us build relationships with subcontractors quickly. They’ve helped us attract higher-quality candidates because of the detailed pages they’ve put together. 

How did Oyova perform from a project management standpoint?

They are extremely efficient. We mostly email back and forth very efficiently. They’ve been very thorough. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

Everything seems personal when we’re working together. Even our emails touch on how we’re doing and our families, so it’s never 100% business and that’s really important for our family-oriented culture. To have that same culture with them has been fantastic. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

Off the top of my head, I can’t think of anything. 

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Go in with a bunch of projects and set expectations that they will be met exactly as you need. Expect everything to be up and running in the fastest time possible.

They’ve supported us over the years with our website. Anytime we have issues, such as technical problems, they help us. That’s their primary role. Oyova helped redesign our website, and they made some changes as far as the languages that were on the website, as well as some of the content. 

We’re in the process of creating a new website and the team is going to be involved in that. Once that’s done, we’re going to get them to handle our social media.

It may have been my marketing director at the time who researched and found them, but I wasn't involved in that process.

Our engagement began in 2015, and it’s ongoing.

They’ve kept our website up and running. This is important because, if our website is down, customers aren’t able to reach us.

How did Oyova perform from a project management standpoint?

The team is easy to work with and easy to get a hold of. With other companies, you have to wait for them because they’re busy. But Oyova has great communication skills and excellent customer support. We communicate with them via email and phone calls.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Their level of communication stands out, as well as the fact that they’re always available. Those are the most valuable parts of our relationship.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, I have no suggestions. They’ve hit the mark on everything we’ve needed. Everyone can improve, but I can’t identify anything in particular.

Oyova developed, configured and launch a robust custom website that my team designed. They were extremely hands on during our design process as well to ensure the actual development of the site would go as planned. It began with a kick off call with the Oyova team to discuss project goals and milestones. They worked on a very strict client-demanded timeline and met all deadlines.

What was the team composition?

The Oyova team was small yet nimble. It consisted of a project manager, lead engineer and director of operations.

My team and my client were all extremely pleased with the final product, the knowledge and efficiency of the Oyova team.

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

Project management was amazing throughout the entire process. We were working under a strict timeline and the project management adhered to that and worked continuously to execute in a timely manner. There were frequent status calls and email updated tracking the progress.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Their knowledge and skill set and being able to communicate in a way that someone unfamiliar with the process would understand.

Interface is an engineering consultancy firm. I am in charge if coordinating Oyova's contract with Interface. We are redesigning our website which was last updated over nine years ago to access more clients, keep a record of all our work, and better align us with where we would like to position ourselves in the future; a Ugandan company seeking to provide pragmatic solutions to complicated social problems.

For web development. Our website was outdated, our information scattered and we wanted to appear more current, offer our readers and clients a minimalistic and contemporary interaction with us, and we wanted to be organized.

How did you select this vendor?

They were well recommended by pixel, a company my boss had worked with prior. After a number of interview with Ryan and Beth we chose to stay because they were quick to adapt to our vision, and suggest things we may not have thought of but needed. In conclusion through a recommendation but also a great impression was made from the interviews we had with them and a scan of their portfolio showed us they were the best people to execute what we wanted.

Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?

Our project is still ongoing but we expect more visibility and more clients.

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

Very impressive since we are across the world. We had very efficient and brief zoom meetings and work was delivered efficiently. Very good candor with the team, and they were very patient with us when I needed to get caught up.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Communication with me admist the holidays, the pandemic and the time difference.. The job has gotten done, and the execution is very close to what we envisioned. They are very flexible, attentive, patient, and understanding.

Are there any areas for improvement?

Since I was not as fluent in what was happening with the web design, and there was an experience gap, I feel that I would have appreciated more inclusion and some more explanation at my level.

We are a internet marketing agency providing website/Landing Page design and development, and marketing strategies and implementation for local businesses. In addition to SEO/SEM we are also a SharpSpring Marketing Automation partner.

For what projects/services did your company hire Oyova?

We took on a new client, a local artificial turf company servicing South Florida and the Treasure coast. After evaluating the clients website performance with the help of Oyova's WordPress team, we determined the first step would be to migrate the website to a premium hosting company to increase the speed and responsiveness of the load time. This was necessary for both the user experience as well as the performance of the SharpSpring plugins and widgets to perform optimally.

What were your goals for this project?

To improve the user experience and allow the company to scale their website capabilities in regards to implementing the marketing automation and add additional marketing tools to increase conversions.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor?

They were recommended by SharpSpring, Oyova is also a SharpSpring Marketing Automation Partner. After speaking with the support and implementation team and reviewing their references, I was very comfortable in the fact the work would be done effeciently and correctly.

Describe the project and the services they provided in detail.

After auditing the client site, we uncovered a number of backend issues that Oyova corrected, plus some much needed WordPress maintenance. After creating a parallel installation of the website, Oyova migrated the site to WP Engine for increased performance. Web site optimization was performed and the site went live with no issues.

What was the team composition?

I worked with Oyova's Wordpress team to put together the migration plan and my account manager.

Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?

The increased load times for both desktop and mobile were significant. By increasing the load times, especially for mobile, our bounce rate dropped dramatically. This also increased average time spent on the website because the user could browse the site without the delay we experienced before the migration. Conversions increased as expected (Forms filled requesting site visit/estimates)

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

My account manager was efficient setting up the project and connecting me directly to the migration team. Beth was responsive to any email or phone call and eager to jump in if needed. The migration team responded in a timely manner to any inquiries.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

From start to finish, the open communication made for a smooth process. And having access to the migration team via email and phone, helped expedite the project.

Are there any areas for improvement?

Not much to improve on that comes to mind.

We are a financial services association that works with credit unions throughout our state. I’m the vice president of communications.

What challenge were you trying to address with Oyova?

We needed to transition our organization’s website to Sitefinity.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

The Oyova team completed the migration, setting up our site on Sitefinity and linking it with Cvent to manage our meetings and schedules. We’re currently working through the final stages of the project. 

What is the team composition?

Beth (Account Manager, Oyova) was our main point of contact. There was also a team of developers, but I’m not sure how many people were involved. 

How did you come to work with Oyova?

We were looking for a vendor that had experience with both Sitefinity and Cvent, which limited our search. A colleague of mine recommended Oyova, so we considered them along with a few others on our list. 

The Oyova team had the best grasp of what we needed, and they’d worked with clients in the financial services space in that past. Their pricing was fair and our initial interactions were pleasant, so we chose to move forward with them. 

What is the status of this engagement?

We’ve had an on-and-off partnership since 2018, and we’re finishing up now.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

We’re not finished yet, so I don’t have traffic or numbers to share. Anecdotally, the Oyova team has been very helpful. 

I work in the marketing and communications department, and we’ve had to communicate with our IT department a lot during this project. Oyova works as a translator between my team and our IT department, helping us ask questions and place requests clearly and effectively. 

How did Oyova perform from a project management standpoint?

They communicated well — we mainly used email and phone calls. The team stuck to the parameters of the project, and there were no surprises.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They were pleasant and quick to respond. Additionally, the Oyova team wasn’t afraid to tell us no. They pushed us to consider other options that might work better for us, which showed me how much they cared about the results of this project. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

At this moment, I can’t think of any.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

First, know what you want when you start the project and stay organized throughout. 

Second, work with the Oyova team to create a plan for the future. They did a lot of work for us, but they also helped us understand how do it ourselves. We have tutorials and guides to follow even after the close of the project.

What was the scope of their involvement?

They manage the web hosting services for our website. Their team also makes needed changes and revisions on a needs-basis.

One of our attorneys was referred to Oyova from another law firm in town.

We invested $450 for the startup fee and now pay $30 a month.

Our ongoing engagement started in October 2019.

When we request revisions, they’re very efficient and usually get them done the same day. Things are smooth so we deal with them on a limited basis.

The Oyova team is very easy to work with. If I need something or have an idea, they're proactive in helping me address it. Things have been in the status quo for a while now. Beth has always been very conscientious. She’s quick to respond, and it’s been an overall good experience.

I am the Executive Assistant for Bonar Engineering & Construction Company. We design/build cold storage facilities for the perishable food industry. I am responsible for any and all productions -- newsletters, books, presentations, white papers -- that the CEO of the company does, as well as various other duties.

As of 2014, we realized our website was outdated and not working for us. So, the owner of the company reached out to Oyova to update the website and add a few features we currently didn't have.

What were your goals for this project?

We wanted a modernized, functional, user-friendly website with a way to subscribe to our weekly newsletter, access to an online certification program, and access to a storefront. We were hoping to improve our online presence.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor?

The CEO of the company did some research, asked around, talked with several other companies, and finally settled with Oyova.

Describe the project in detail.

David outlined a plan, asked me to fill out a questionnaire asking about what it was we wanted our website to do, and then presented us with his vision of what it would look like.

What was the team composition?

Three people came to the initial meeting from Oyova, and we had three from our company. Since then, we have met others from Oyova as we have "tweaked" what our website does, and have had a few challenges along the way.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

It has definitely been a growing experience for me. I ended up being the one "in charge" of the website at our company, and have had to lean on Oyova several times, and have recently made a couple of small edits (i.e., updating photos to new projects recently completed), and, as usual, Oyova delivered.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Communication is effortless and several times they were waiting on me to respond to a question before they could move forward, so from a project management perspective, it was a pleasant experience.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Oyova is extremely responsive to every email I ever sent. They have a positive attitude that says they will do anything in their power to make you happy and to give you what you want. They were quick to set up a Zoom meeting when I needed help updating the photos of the website, and took the time to walk me through the process. They are courteous, and very professional, while still being personable and approachable.

Are there any areas for improvement?

I thought the initial cost of the website development was a little high, but to be honest, I had had no prior experience with it, nor did I know how to maintain a website, so I guess in the long run, we got exactly what we asked for. They were willing to work with us on the price, and as a small business, we certainly appreciated that!

Oyova was able to put in new features for us and implement development so that we can grow membership with employers in particular. They do social media, digital marketing, SEO — everything you can think of.

We work with 3–4 people.

I searched Google and found Oyova. They were close to my neighborhood, so I stopped in and met with my owner.

We’ve spent $100,000 between both years.

What is the status of this engagement?

We signed on in April 2018, and we still use them for our development needs. We have no internal IT people, so for any obstacles we run into, they do our maintenance and IT repairs.

We’ve seen drastic growth month-over-month in our membership numbers ever since we started working together. Oyova is always available and able to add new features or change things whenever we need to. They’re welcome to new ideas and great about suggesting things that might enhance our business as well.

How did Oyova perform from a project management standpoint?

I just email the developer I work with. They use Teamwork internally so I sometimes log in to check the project status, but I don’t need to do it often. They’re very communicative. I’ve never had a problem because they’ve always been very open and honest whenever there’s a delay or timeline variation.

What did you find most impressive about them?

I like having an answer right way, and Oyova has been awesome at that. As soon as I email them, one of their account managers is always all over it and reply back immediately. Even if it’s just to say they’re working on it or explain a delay, they always keep us informed.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I don’t think so. They’re great.

Any advice for potential customers?

Go for it — they’re great to work with. Be transparent and honest with them, and they’ll be exactly the same with you. You’ll be super successful.

I’m a payroll tax specialist at a payroll company that works with large and small companies across the United States. I handle all out-of-state, federal, and state tax tasks.

What challenge were you trying to address with Oyova?

My boss wanted to build his own tax system software.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Our payroll system doesn’t render any tax information, so we always have to transfer our data from the payroll system to the tax system. They developed software for us to generate all business payroll documentation and information that we needed to submit to the IRS or individual state. Their front- and backend work allowed us to handle this whole process electronically.

What is the team composition?

I worked with two of their team members, and both were amazing. 

How did you come to work with Oyova?

I wasn’t involved with the hiring process but was the point of contact for our relationship with them because I’m involved with taxes here.

What is the status of this engagement?

We worked together from September 2018–February 2020.

They’ve been helpful in working with our requirements and according to our timeframe. Every time we threw a new challenge their way, they ran with it. When I’ve provided suggestions for improvement to their team, they’ve corrected the issue within the week.

We emailed back and forth on a regular basis and also met weekly over a screen-sharing call. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

I’ve never had to wait for a response from them. I knew that I could count on them to communicate effectively with me.
