We have few development companies and interview the developer and selected the Octal based on the resource experiences and also with the reasonable cost.

We have the business requirements and approach to developer to estimated the timeline for the development. Project plan has planned and share with developers to meet the time line for each stage. For us, we use PHP to do the development.

Developers are knowledgeable and responsible for their tasks. We managed to deliver the projects as per time line for 80% of the projects.

They provide one PM as the point of contact for the managing for the individual developers. We use Skype for the communication.

Developers are quiet good to work with. They delivered their assigned tasks, which is the most important thing for us.

We had a kickoff meeting with OCTAL to Draw up the needs and need and Requirements this kind of project a bit challenging since non availability of direct Benchmen to adopt . after the Kickoff meeting we came up with project frame guideline and we identified all the needs to start the project and number of application that could be required. mobile app and web , due to the quality expected , native was proposed.

Senior project manager assign to take further action on the project , I have been connected with all development team though a zoom call , then for easy communication they open WhatsApp group.

They captured what we needed. They were a very supportive and dedicated team.

Time management and communication , I think this area need a bit improvement.

They did not even share with me the composition of the team, project manager ended up letting me deal with another person. it was just a catastrophe from start to end.

• App is a catastrophe.
• There was absolutely no progress and success.

Communication delays, timeline wasnt reached. took over 2more months to finish the project. They gave an unrealistic timeline just to acquire the project. I think its all about the money for them.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Honestly the Project manager was nice and understood my concerns but still ended up with a catastrophe of an app.

Are there any areas for improvement?

The whole code written was faulty and after consultation the whole app needs to be revamped. Overall, they did a horrible job.

The vendor responsed on February 24, 2021.

We strongly feel the review shared is a result of some misunderstanding. The project discussed here was handled by an experienced project manager from our team and he had a continued discussion with the tech expert of the Rafiki Group.

The first complaint they have is that we did not share the team composition. We deny this as we have a copy of proposal that was shared with them, and it clearly mentions the team composition in detail.

Talking about the codes and designs it was verified at each milestone. Not just this, even after a month of the app being live they came to us with some modifications in the app operations and not with errors and bugs in the app. Clearly they had no issues with the code and design until then.

The team at Octal IT Solution is available to connect with you even at the wee hours. Each communication was conducted well in time and there were no delays in any important discussion.

Project deployment was delayed because Apple Store denied approving any dating app. We further added a few features to make the app a little more than dating app to get it approved.

After each milestone we have waited patiently for the reviews and would go ahead only after affirmative responses. We strongly condemn such defamation reviews on behalf of miscommunications.

I hope we can consider our part of the story too before coming to any conclusions.

We needed a Real Estate portal for listing and marketing solutions for Real Estate Professionals and Users. In terms of features and functionality, the website lets users search for property listings and contact the builder or agents. On the other end, developers, property owners, individual brokers or brokerage firms can manage the properties’ listings effectively. And through the administrative panel, we can manage all the users and properties listed.

What was the team composition?

Initially, I spoke with the Business Analyst to explain the project’s concept. After, we approved the contract and began working with a project manager. He was my primary point of contact, making communication easy. I think the project team had 4 developers and a quality analyst to check the functioning of the website and the app.

While it is only a few months into deployment, most of our agents who are using the portal are happy with it.

Project management was pleasant. The project manager had much responsibility and deadlines were tight. The manager shared a list of milestones with us so we could keep track of their progress and evaluate each new release.

The most impressive aspect is their ability to develop any request that we had. They delivered on the functionality of both the front-and backend, flawlessly.

Once we agreed upon project, time duration, and cost, we revamped SRS and began working on design, flow, strategy, development, and content. We would have daily contact going through each phase of the project and collaborating. The team was helpful in guiding and giving their expertise. The team worked with outside banking system to collaborate to put into the app. We needed solutions for various phases, and their team was able to find them. Admin was build and updated based on our growing needs.
