League is a clearly well-built and united team. All the processes are very well thought through, and they are great communicators. From the very first message, it was clear that they didn't just send out canned pitches to anyone that comes to them, but they carefully check the request and take time to try and understand your needs. On top of that, of course, the fact that they had a good versatile portfolio with modern well-structured designs was a big deciding factor.

We had a series of in-depth discovery meetings. The team helped us put together a survey for our website visitors to identify points that we need to improve. They worked with us on a concept that would work well for our brand and provided several versions of the website design. Moving forward, they wireframed and designed over 15 pages of our website and created a style guide for our internal designer to use to implement the rest of the design. They also created several outline animations for our website.

Our internal designer found it very easy to work with the style guide provided by League. After the implementation of the redesign, our website got an 8% conversion rate boost on average.

The workflow is very very efficient and comfortable.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Very well-built processes. You can see that people enjoy working in this company and it matters a lot. They were very customer-focused, detail-oriented, and easy to work with.

Hard to say. There were some hiccups here and there, but every challenge was resolved very professionally. Well done and I can only recommend this team.

The vendor has very good B2B references and was very proactive and convincing during the intro discussions. Also they have a tremendous client satisfaction score! I also liked the process driven aspect of the company and the fact that a team is working on my project. This guarantees good brainstorming and complementary skills.

The project followed a well stream lined process for maximum success rate and efficiency. We went through a series of steps including a detailed briefing, a competitive analysis, preliminary design review, detailed design review. For the website design we also had a briefing, competitor analysis, wireframe design and design concept. All was managed by  two very efficient and communicative Project Managers (one for the branding, one for the web site design).

The team was composed of two project managers (one for branding, one for website design), a strategist, a designer, a website designer, a team leader, a bid manager. Great service level!

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

First the planning was very well respected, in line with what was discussed in the proposal. Second, the meetings were always very productive and the team listened to every detail of my feedback to make sure they would integrate the feedback in the project. Third : the outputs (company values, market positioning, design concept, ...) were 100% aligned with my expectations : it is like they connected immediately to the DNA of my project.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Awesome : great project managers with regular and precise communication. You feel someone is looking after you to make sure your project progresses as expected and always reaches out when there are questions to solve together.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

I found the team composition awesome : project managers for the respect of planning/costs/scope, a strategist for the correct positioning of the company, graphic and web designers for the full implementation of the identity, a bid manager running the proposal cycle very smoothly -> every body was complementary making this an awesome team work. I also liked the energy and passion they put in their work and the feeling of working as a team!

Nothing to add, all was so good!

Selection was done between a friend of ours that started to work on the project but fell behind on multiple deadlines and several contractors on Upwork.

The project consisted of a fairly comprehensive brand identity work to come up with templates for multiple digital carriers for our software. Once the initial sales process was over which was very impressive, we begun doing "homework" stage of the process with league. They learned about our company through a series of tests and talking sessions that seemed strange for somebody that isn't art-minded - stick through this and don't doubt the process!

After the first concept created, it all made sense and League team put my worries to rest for the rest of the project. The final deliverables were excellent quality work - something we are really proud to use for years to come!

In total, about 4 people. Three after initial sales stage, and two towards the end.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We are a startup, so by far the only success as it relates to this project is ability to present ourselves to the world, which League certainly helped us with. Hoping for more success in a little bit!

I'd say we made excellent use of our time and theirs. The project was promised to take about days and that's exactly where we landed on timeframes. Nothing was ever late, nobody ever waited on the other side.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

It's in the question. League's whole deal is making Unique and Impressive designs for their clients. I am happy we found them!

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

The beginning stages of research freaked me out. It seemed like money was being spent for unnecessary work but that feeling went away after initial design concepts were delivered. League has a good work structure, I can't honestly think of any way to improve it. Keep it up!

But in short, initial road mapping, mood boards, strong commitment from League, very good communication, clear management structure, active progress with a good timeline, final deliverables as requested, and every week, League exceeded the expectations.

I saw them being active in different projects with great results. That was the initial note made. But the way the project was executed and managed simply was just 10/10.

We reached out to a few marketing agencies from the Middle East and Europe, and they were not sincere as they overpromised us with tasks they barely accomplished in previous work. We commenced work with one agency and canceled the contract due to poor quality we have seen in their presentations.

Subsequently, we made a project offer on Upwork, and League Design Agency had the most decent profile when they applied. We communicated our requirements clearly, and they explained to us what they could do in a detailed manner before we started the contract.

The 2 projects we started with League Design mixed so well as both teams were up to date with each week's progress which gave good input to work around or with each week to ensure effectiveness.

During the projects, we had to interview potential customers and clients to test our hypothesis and get more insights, and this step was important to make sure these project's results were not far off from our customers' and clients' expectations.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We are happy with the outcomes of the communication strategy project. We wanted a cohesive communication strategy and tactics to help us communicate our brand functions and values in a consistent way that fits and entices our target audience. The strategy team did deliver exactly what we were looking for by formulating and testing the relevant hypothesis to solidify the strategy ideas.

Right now, our brand has a clear identity with specific characteristics that can interact with clients and users across the platform and marketing channels accordingly. Also, the design team worked on our brand identity and during the project, it was fascinating to see their deep understanding of visual design concepts and how they showed our brand character on the designs through an effective process and approach.

We needed a brand identity that is creative and unique and we got it. We have ordered riders uniform and started posting on social media using the deliverables we received from the design team.

We appreciate the efforts and transparency the team displayed before contracting as they listened to all of our questions and concerns and responded accordingly and in a timely manner. We had weekly meetings that were flexibly scheduled for presentations and feedback and there is no better way to be on the same page with every stage than this.

All in one, the strategy team was 100% committed to align themselves with our requirements and truly care about the project outcomes. Regarding the brand identity project, we initially thought that the design process will be complex but the constant communication by the design team to seek feedback and meet our requirements made everything effortless. We already have plans to continue designing the rest of our branded carriers with the design team. Julia, Vlada, Marina, Anastasia and Serhii, it has been great working with you.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Their work ethic, communication style and their main value of stratifying clients which have been sincerely sensed by us from start to finish.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

It would be better to provide a tailored excel sheet for every client's project which helps to monitor and track each stage and every task with the ability for the client to update their feedback and approve tasks on weekly basis just like the excel sheet Marina and Anastasia provided to us. It was very helpful.

The project started with discovery. At this point, the Agency discussed with us our goals and what we are trying to achieve with the re-design. They researched our competitors to understand what they are doing and what is working and what isn't working in terms of UX/UI. They also conducted interviews with several of our existing customers to fully understand what our existing customers like and do not like about the user experience of using our website.

From there, the Agency designed site map and concepts based on their research and customer interviews and presented several options to us. From there, once we had chosen a reference concept, the Agency began working on wireframes and then designing the UI for both mobile and desktop versions. Every step of the way they presented me with options to make sure it is aligned with our goals and needs.

League's website had many examples that looked relevant. Their rating on upwork was great. After a quick interview, I received a formal proposal and quote via PDF. This is why I went with them. They were small, flexible and fast, but professional. The proposal let me know exactly what I should expect.

We then went through the final mocks and toolkits. Very professional. High quality.

We interviewed a number of providers and from our first meeting with LDA were struck by their professionalism and willingness to engage. The proposal that LDA made for our project let us feel "we are in good hands, they have done this before". And we couldn't have been more right.

The project started with us simply explaining our product, our customers' needs and then working through the different parts of the platform to create a intuitive UX, relying on recognizable patters, so that users can quickly generate a sense of familiarity. LDA had amazing ideas and through working with them we made numerous adjustments to structuring workflows because what and how they recommended it made more sense from a user perspective.

We then moved on to UI work where they analyzed the competitors designs, created a beautiful design metaphor and concept, which ticks all the boxes we were after: simplicity hiding complexity, an elegant workspace that is despite its complexity uncluttered and clear visual guidance.

We mainly worked with 3 contacts, one to discuss the business side of our work, a project manager who was our main touch-point throughout the process and our designer. Additional people were working in the background.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The entire process was nothing short of remarkable. Our first impression couldn't have been more accurate. LDA's work has always been on point, nothing gets lost and deliverables are on time. Even when talking through a complex set of UX flows in a 3-hour meeting every detail would be picked up in the next round of revisions. Where LDA thought that they had a better idea, they would present it, not blindly following client instructions.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Our LDA team has never missed a deadline or even a meeting. If we needed more time it would be no issue and they would re-arrange their day. Meetings early or late it wouldnt matter, they always bring their A game and engage with a smile.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

The whole process from beginning to end has been an exceptional experience, we couldn't have asked for more. Well planned, delivered on point. No work product they ever turned out for us received just lukewarm responses, it was only ever a question which shade of amazing would it be. Before LDA would present their initial thoughts on a particular item, everyone in our team would be itching to see it and without fail we would be impressed time and time again.
