We were using a different developer in another country.  When we informed him we would no longer be using his services, he destroyed all of our existing Internet collateral, and did so much more damage. Krunal and his team helped us rebuild what we had lost, but made it even better! Then, we asked him to help us write a scope for a new project for our for-profit company, HOPE For Everybody.  It is a subscription based, e-commerce website that will be the first of its kind.

The collateral that was lost was rebuilt.  The new website is live at www.HOPEForEverybody.org and we have begun marketing it!

No one is perfect, right?  I do think iQlance could do a better job QAing its own work.  There would be times when our team would be told things were ready that turned out not to be ready.  Aside from this, I've been managing the development of websites for more than 20 years and Krunal and the team at iQlance have definitely been among the best with whom I have ever worked.
There were also a few items I felt could have been done better.  But, overall, an excellent firm!

The launch was completed and tested. We are in the middle of launching to the public. The app was completed with all requested features, with additional added mid-development. All features are working based on the requirements.

The team was excellent. They stayed in constant communication, with a response always within 24 hours if not sooner. When we were tight to timelines they ensured that our project was prioritized. They offered sound advice and were willing to meet around our schedule when needed. We had a great experience. I would suggest if anything ensure that they spell check their work. The app worked wonderfully but from a brand perspective spelling and wording are important and we needed to catch spelling or typos.

Project management was good and on time. I had requested some changes and renogotiated the deliverable time lines, however the team were greatwith their estimates and completed changes quicker than I expected. The team were always happy to hear my feedback and were open to the suggestions I was making. They also helped advise more practical ways of reaching specific outcomes I was after and made suggestions on 3rd party featurers which greatly saved on cost.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

The team are very pleasant to work with, they are humble and patient. I very much enjoyed the flexibility of the team also. There is quite a large time difference in the countries we live in, however we worked very well together to find convinient times that suited all parties.
I recall onetime the product manager met with me at 12am his time as it was convinient for me (i did not know it was that time in his country until after the meeting). This was just one of many examples of how the team went above and beyond to support me.

Are there any areas for improvement or something iQlance Solutions could have done differently?

Overall I am very happy with the team and will continue to use IQlance for further development in the future. The only suggestion I have would be to continue to challenge the way founders are thinking about the their app. If there are better ways to design or build the application then to voice their opinions as the experts and their experience as these great suggestions can save founders thousands...

As we got closer to designing and building an app, we had to outsource the right company. We wanted to build the app in a scalable way so we wouldn’t have issues later on.

What was the scope of their involvement?

iQlance Solutions has developed an application from the ground up. Initially, they worked closely with us to understand how the concept worked and draw out the design.

The app is designed to change how advertising and digital content are delivered to users. The majority of the money we make is actually given to the consumers. Users can download the app, set up their account, and use it whenever they visit a business that works with us. They can scan a QR code while waiting to pay for whatever they’re purchasing at the store, and we send them an ad with a dollar value framed around it. Afterward, they can use that dollar value towards their purchases, even if the ad has nothing to do with that merchant store.     

We designed the app ourselves, and iQlance Solutions built it for Android and iOS in the native languages of both platforms. They’ve also provided website development services; we’re still in the process of finalizing the website.

We work with three teammates: a salesperson, a customer service representative, and the lead developer.

I did my due diligence and looked at several companies in Europe, the US, and Canada. Ultimately, I felt most comfortable with iQlance Solutions. Their pricing was right, their attitude was really welcoming, and we liked their previous work.

The contract covers roughly $45,000 of what we have to get done. They haven’t charged us any penalties for missing deliveries.

We started working with them in March 2022, and our relationship is ongoing.

They’re understanding and accommodating, even with the time difference.

How did iQlance Solutions perform from a project management standpoint?

The developers are in India, but they’re on time with the deliverables and milestones. Our main point of contact regularly checks in with us. If we need anything, they’re always there to ensure we’re on track.

We didn’t want to deal with project management tools, so we’ve stuck to communicating through a WhatsApp group chat and emails. We’ve also used Google Drive and our own servers.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They respect that we’re old school and accommodate us on that. Overall, iQlance Solutions has been very kind, patient, and understanding.

No, there’s nothing they could improve.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Do some research before you find a company. If you’re specifically looking to build an app or website, understanding how the vendor operates and gets things done is in your best interest. You might get into the project with the impression that you can get it done with a certain amount of money, but you might be far off; people don’t really understand how much work is involved.

We needed help with developing a centralized administration panel for connecting 250 websites with a single database. Our existing administration panel had a lot of issues because many websites were controlled by it.

What is the scope of their involvement?

iQlance Solutions developed a new administration panel for us from scratch using Laravel. Initially, we provided them with a technical document to allow them to access our existing administration panel, and they took it from there.

I was searching for web developers in India, and they were among the first ones I found. We reached out to various development companies, and only iQlance Solutions replied to us. Their experience and reviews were a great plus, and their cost was affordable, so we chose them.

I’m the head of product for my organization, which creates software for financial literacy education in the US.

What challenge were you trying to address with iQlance Solutions?

We needed software development resources to continue the development of an existing custom asset that we have. Their was work to be done in our software’s code base.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

We had a few interviews with their developers, and there was one that we really liked. After negotiating a contract, things got going quickly within 1–2 weeks. Their developer now works with us in a staff augmentation model, reporting directly to me. He’s running through our backlog using Ruby on Rails.

The solution is a multi-user education platform. Students can submit ideas and proposals to improve their schools in the same format that platforms like Instagram users. Afterwords, students can vote on which proposals they like the best and think should receive funding.

From a backend perspective, the system is built in Ruby on Rails and has an integration with our CRM.

The software developer we’re working with is at a pretty high level of integrity. He’s honest and wants to keep busy, so if he’s ever running out of work, he utilizes his time very effectively, always reaching out to ensure he’s being as effective as possible.

The challenge with this project was that we couldn’t provide direct access to iQlance, so their team had to think outside of the box to develop web and Windows applications. Our focus was around the third-party APIs, which their team helped integrate. They also built caching techniques around the API to speed up the site’s performance. 

Along with that caching system, iQlance designed the UI of our site from scratch using the .NET framework and an SQL Server database.

What was the scope of their involvement?

iQlance Solutions is developing an app for us, including backend development and customer-facing applications. We created technical requirements starting from business requirements, which involved its technical architecture, the design, and the creation of the apps and a backend management tool. They’re currently doing production support in terms of QA, debugging, and ongoing feature development.

Regarding the product features and functionalities, the app allows parents to get dedicated safe and secure transportation for their children. The flip side of that is that we also have drivers who then utilize a dedicated app to do the appropriate pickup and delivery of those kids. Additionally, the backend management tool enables us to live monitor and manage those rides and the overall business.

They perform well in terms of project management; I know these types of projects can be complex because everything is linked, and one thing impacts another, but given the multiple time zone changes and the tool they’ve implemented, they’ve done an excellent job.
