What was the scope of their involvement? iMark Infotech runs PPC and Google Ads campaigns for our end customers. They run reports for me and create keyword lists for our customers. I also make suggestions for keywords, and we work together from there. Backlinking is also part of their SEO services. They’ve handled over 20 customers for me over the years. What is the team composition? We’ve worked with 20–30 teammates from iMark through the years, including Shivani (Associate SEO Director) and Jyoti (Frontend Web Developer). How did you come to work with iMark Infotech Pvt. Ltd.? I used Clutch to find iMark Infotech. We had a couple of calls and chats, and then we saw their proposal. We also tested them out to see if they fit our needs. How much have you invested with them? We spend around $30,000 on their services per year, depending on how many customers they handle for us. What is the status of this engagement? We started working with them in January 2016, and the engagement is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? iMark Infotech has helped me grow over the years, providing me with business assistance. My customers are happy. They do an excellent job, especially when I guide them in the right direction and let them know what the clients need. How did iMark Infotech Pvt. Ltd. perform from a project management standpoint? They’re on the ball when it comes to meeting deadlines. Sometimes, things take a couple of days longer, but that’s normal. Shivani and Jyoti have been amazing and incredible. For tools, we use Basecamp to manage projects. To communicate, we use Slack. What did you find most impressive about them? iMark Infotech is highly organized, and everybody can communicate in English. Are there any areas they could improve? No, there aren’t any. They’re excellent in terms of their services and pricing. Do you have any advice for potential customers? Know what you want, and guide the iMark Infotech team. iMark has been implementing all sorts of things that are improving our SEO for a local business. To be honest, the scope of work is beyond a lot of my understanding. They have been implementing a number of changes and recommending even more that we can make directly to our site and its content to improve our overall SEO.

Describe their project management. Did they deliver items on time? How did they respond to your needs? They use a tool called Basecamp as a project management tool which is helpful with the project tasks. They also communicate with us in WhatsApp which is our preferred app in communication. They were some delays with some of the deliverables (which is rare), but they're quick to bounce back and are very accommodating with meeting requests whenever we need it. We don't feel that they are a provider, but they are a part of the team.

Are there any areas for improvement or something iMark Infotech Pvt. Ltd. could have done differently? Off-page SEO. I hope they will find a better way for us to share with the clients proof for the articles being published. This is to avoid our clients doubting our credibility and possibly accusing us that we are faking the numbers. Although it is understandable that they are just protecting their vendors/sources who publish on their behalf.

Overall, I'm very happy with the project management side of things. They do get busy, and sometimes I may need to send them a reminder, but that's not often!

I got their 50-keyword package and they helped rank my clients for those keywords with high-quality links. Each month they provided a detailed report of all SEO activities and logged time. Keyword rankings were the primary metrics, but the secondary metrics we looked at were the number of backlinks, guest posts, social booking marking, and blog posting.

For the most part, all deliverables were delivered on time. There were two occasions that I recall that items were turned in delayed, but when communicated, they were expedited.
