We are impressed with the project manager Mr. Deep and the team of Hyperlink InfoSystem. They understand our requirements before starting development and update us on regular basis with the process. For project management, they used Zoho projects and for communication used WhatsApp, Skype, Zoom calls, and email. There was some minor delay in the project but it was expected based on the size of our requirements.

They politely listened and understood every query raised by us and guide us with the flow till the end to build a better solution for our organization. They’ve helped me out with all the initial requirements and guided me through the process. Also, meeting their CEO in person has given me more confidence that the project is in good hands.

The project is actually almost completed; we just have to finish a few more things before our platform goes live.

We’ve had some issues in the integration phase, but the rest of the project has gone smoothly. Their project manager is quite reliable — he helps me out on the technical side and makes sure nothing is missed out and that there is no miscommunication with the developers.

We use Zoho as our project management tool and communicate mainly through Zoom and Skype.

What challenge were you trying to address with Hyperlink InfoSystem?

We needed help building out an app.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Hyperlink developed an iOS app and an Android app for me. I’m a designer, so I was able to create the wireframes myself. When certain issues or inconsistencies came up with the UX/UI, however, they still helped me out. 

We used a few APIs, such as the Instagram API, which would allow me to display certain profile previews. They also incorporated third-party integrations to allow me to pull in news articles, podcasts, movies, and TV shows from our partner platforms. 

Their team built out an admin panel for me as well. This channel enables me to add radio stations, display creator profiles, and promote different organizations and charities.

There are around eight people working with us, and that includes project managers and developers.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

It’s been really good. I am very happy with the platforms that Hyperlink is developing. They’re able to work within a good timeframe, accommodate the changes that I want, and resolve crashes or any issues with the apps. 

How did Hyperlink InfoSystem perform from a project management standpoint?

They’ve managed the project well. We’ve gone a little past the deadline, but the delay is due to me wanting to add new features. I’m quite picky and want things a certain way. 

I usually communicate with the project manager or business manager through Skype. Even though we’re in different time zones, they’re always available whenever I need to talk to them. We don’t have any trouble communicating with each other, and they’re just overall a very helpful team.

What did you find most impressive about them?

I haven’t worked with other development companies, so I don’t know how to compare them. I do appreciate their customer service. Because I’m doing this on my own, they walk me through the technical challenges that might come up. They help me understand what my options are and what’s the most cost-effective way to move forward.  I don’t feel stressed at all because they’re able to get ahead of any bumps in the road. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, not in my case. I am very happy with everything.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Be as detailed as you can be with your requirements. Don’t go in assuming that they’ll know exactly what you’re talking about. Point out the features that you want and the full scope of work to avoid any surprises later on in the project.
