I am the Founder and CEO of Meal To Serve, a food delivery startup in Charleston, SC. I was working as a head chef in one of the popular restaurants in Charleston and started working on this idea eight months back. With our app, users can get food anywhere from their nearby favorite restaurants. We target local restaurants to register as a business with us and earn more by getting more orders through our app.

We are also planning to offer some attractive discounts and offers to attract more audience initially.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

For what projects/services did your company hire Hyperlink InfoSystem, and what were your goals?

For food delivery app development, we have hired a team of Hyperlink InfoSystem. For the first phase, we planned to start with the food delivery and after becoming popular in the city, we will start with the second phase of development that includes groceries and parcel delivery. With this commercial platform, we have also included one unique feature in the same app to resolve food wastage.

In this, restaurants can drop us messages or orders using their panel for the extra food left at the end of the day, and our delivery person will take it from the restaurant and drop it at the fixed points. Our team will distribute food to needy people.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

One of my friends suggested us to review clutch.co for IT service provider. We have found Hyperlink InfoSystem on the list of Top mobile app development companies. We have reviewed their portfolio, reviews, and their website before contacting them. Before hiring them, we have taken their team’s interview to make sure we have chosen the right partner for our idea. Their work portfolio, client reviews, and knowledge in the field were the deciding factors for us.

Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.

With the rough idea, I have contacted them. Mr. Darshan from Business Development Team helped me to schedule a meeting with their technical team who prepared the Scope of Work document for our requirement. I expected Android and iOS apps as deliverables but after discussion, they added the admin panel, restaurants panel, and website to the list of deliverables.

We have signed the contract to start the project first, then they assign us a project manager Mr. Uresh and a team of designers and developers. First, they deliver the wireframe and prototype and after our approval, they start development. Generally, we discussed progress with the team on weekly basis, and they were always ready to present us with some new tasks completed without any errors.

Before sending any file to us, their QA team test it twice for the issues. We are almost completed with the project and after two weeks our maintenance and support time will start.

How many resources from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

We were in communication with Mr. Uresh frequently but at least 15 people work on it. We have taken interviews with senior developers, UI/UX designers, Web designers, and server administrators.

BACKGROUND

Please describe your company and your position there.

I am James, Chief Executive Officer at Trucksy Logistics in Baltimore, Maryland. I am working in the Logistics industry for more than 18 years and have reach experience in transport and courier services. To serve our global clients in a better way, we are planning to launch a new platform “Trucksy Logistics” that will help users to track their orders in just a few taps and also help our employees to manage the inventory and orders in a more hassle-free way.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

For what projects/services did your company hire Hyperlink InfoSystem, and what were your goals?

In past, we did all business operations manually, and before 4 years started using software to manage the data easily and with more accuracy. To improve data management and serve our clients in a better way, we planned to build Mobile Apps and a Salesforce platform.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

With the idea to build Mobile Apps, we were looking for a good app development company having experience of working in the logistics business. While searching over the Internet, we found one case study by Hyperlink Infosystem for Logistics business.

We have reviewed the same and found it similar to our idea. Hyperlink Infosystem is also a Salesforce certified service provider which perfectly fits our requirement. We have approached them for discussion and after multiple meetings over Skype and Zoom calls, we have hired them for our requirement.

Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.

From the initial discussion with our account manager and business analyst team, we have defined the scope first. Their design team provides us wireframe for our apps and final designs in 12-15 days. We don't have much technical knowledge to choose the technologies for our idea. Their team help us with this and used NodeJS for backend and APIs, Kotlin for Android, and Swift for iOS to build apps.

For Salesforce platform, they used Salesforce cloud to manage real-time updates which are suitable for our requirements. Hyperlink Infosystem delivered Mobile Apps for Both Android and iOS platforms, web admin panel, Salesforce platform, and website.

How many resources from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

During the development period, our contact person was Mr. Deep – Project Manager from Hyperlink InfoSystem. Along with him, we have assigned 15 resources including UI/UX Designers, Web Designers, Account Managers, Business Analysts, Android and iOS developers, QA team, and 3 Salesforce developers.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

We were facing some difficulties with our existing system. We knew the points where our system was lacking and that help us to build the best solution. For clients and customers, we are planning to launch the solution in the coming months. We launched the Salesforce solution for our employees last month and got some amazing feedback from them.

Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.

We are impressed with the project manager Mr. Deep and the team of Hyperlink InfoSystem. They understand our requirements before starting development and update us on regular basis with the process. For project management, they used Zoho projects and for communication used WhatsApp, Skype, Zoom calls, and email. There was some minor delay in the project but it was expected based on the size of our requirements.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

We are impressed with the support given by their team. They politely listened and understood every query raised by us and guide us with the flow till the end to build a better solution for our organization. I can say the most impressive thing for us is the bug-free solution as per our expectations from Hyperlink InfoSystem.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

We don't have any as we are happy with the results.
