They were able to provide quick updates to our project along with visual mockups and any requested changes or design alterations without issue and promptly. They seldom needed supervising or extra correction and their team is well versed in the nuances of web design and flow.

They have a multi disciplinary team that was able to address all our needs. We had several virtual meetings with the whole team during the project inception so that we could relay our ideas, expectation and vision They were all very involved and suggested various productive changes which benefitted the final results. 

The updates and changes were dependant upon our feedback and asset management which was the reason for any slowdown in the project. Their team was always ready and willing to implement any ideas we had on a timely basis.

They delivered terrific results quickly and professionally and were able to solve all my design and logistical issues promptly and efficiently. They have excellent knowledge of webdesign, wordpress and digital media and were able to enhance our original ideas and create excellent results.

Other than being in a different time zone which made communication occasionally offset, there were no issues. They were very competent and achieved great results.

I am the head of development in a marketing company focused on the online betting and gambling sector.

For what projects/services did your company hire Communication Crafts, and what were your goals?

For our websites, we had two main requirements; our first was to improve and upgrade the current apps we had built so far but also to develop new applications. We have two main goals (targeting both in the same time). Obviously, it's to provide a better experience for our customers, but in the same time, make sure that the people we'll work with (in this case, Communication Crafts), to make sure that they are who we are looking for and establish a long term relationship.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We did a detailed online search and Communication Crafts where one of the top candidates. Interview calls followed up where we confirmed that (most probably) they are who we are looking for. We liked their approach, and from the very beginning and our first project confirmed that our choice was the correct one. Currently we're on the third project and we're already planning the next ones.

For the first projects, we were focusing only in the frontend part of our projects (I was responsible for the backend part), but now we're already planning on assigning a full frontend/backend project.

The steps we are following are quite straight forward:

• Provide a visual of the scope (AdobeXD, Figma etc) - Schedule a call providing all details of the scope
• Communication Crafts will provide an estimation
• Build the project on Trello
• Weekly calls following up the process of development
• Before the completion, go to a full testing phase
• Deploy

How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

We have a project manager and, depending on the project, we might need up to three developers.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

After launching our applications, we notice an increase of our traffic, from both new clients and existing one, spending more time on the site. Their contribution gave us the flexibility to create more ideas and even more projects for the team. It's a win-win situation.

The way Communication Crafts is managing the project makes sense. The project manager is fully aware of the project and always ready to answer on any question; there's no question on this. We have always the same project manager (which is a very good thing and we want to keep it like this) for all our projects, which provides an extra safety on our collaboration. The main communication takes place via Teams (for our weekly calls), emails and Trello. We don't have any complain so far.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

It's quite impressive how easily we managed to get in the same page - I don't have anything else to say, it was a very easy going collaboration, any kind of issue we might had, was solved in no time, making things even easier.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

The only thing I can say is that, and this goes only for the beginning, we had to work a bit regarding the coding style. As soon as we clarified how we wish the code to be written and the standards we wanted to follow, everything went well.
