The scope of work included mobile app development, backend development, database setup, API development, testing, bug fixing, and launch support. The main measurable outcome was that Brainium helped us launch our product as a live product on both the App Store and Google Play. Clubs have also started posting recruitment opportunities, and players have started applying through the platform. Some key outcomes include:

I am seeking legal action against Brainium Information Technologies, too bad I can't post pictures here because I wanted to post legal notices, mediation applications etc.

I approached Brainium Infotech in late January 2025 inquiring about their services. I informed Mr. Azhar very clearly what my needs and requirements are. I repeated myself multiple times and he kept confirming the list of deliverables and requesting more specific information about certain features I was asking for. I ended up signing on the 18th of February 2025 after I was confident that he understood the requirements, the contract states the work should take 12 to 14 weeks. The company’s size and many positive reviews led me to believe it is a reputable company but my experience with them made me realise I couldn't have been more wrong and that a lot of the negative reviews I read were spot on.

I held weekly meetings with the project manager, Miss Nabaruna and the programmer, Miss Neha. In the beginning they proposed a strategy that I now know any professional working in tech would know doesn't work. After a few months of working on that, they told me that the software only succeeds on a fraction of the tasks it’s supposed to and that they know how to fix it but it will require that we enter into a second phase that I eventually found out in September 2025 would cost me a little over 11000usd. I only signed off on the last milestone of “phase 1” (around November 2025) because they told me the small bugs I was pointing out would be fixed right away in the following phase and Mr. Azhar offered me the new price of 6000usd.

Throughout this whole mess, the programmer, Ms. Neha told me she is already employing the help of her little brother but that I shouldn't worry because he's really good and if I want to speed things up I can pay more to have a bigger team working on it.

After sending the last payment, I contacted Mr. Pranay, their Vice-President, to discuss the following steps and I explained everything to him. On the 5th of December, he wrote to me saying he  decided not to move forward with phase 2 stating feasibility issues and risks that nobody ever mentioned in the 10 months that they were working on a software they told me would take a maximum of 14 weeks. 

I hired a lawyer in Kolkata and they ignored all his communications until the final notice, that is when they acted surprised. They stated they never received anything from him despite multiple successful delivery reports from courier services. Hopefully the mediation stage goes well but I won’t think twice before going to court and taking it all the way if these scammers refuse to cooperate. It’s been more than a year since I approached Brainium Information Technologies and not only am I not a single step closer towards my goal but I actually went backwards.

Nothing impressed me, very unorganised and dishonest. For a 12 to 14 week project I am now entangled in a knot that could very well last more than a year (after the entire year they wasted my time). But that's ok, if they refuse to cooperate there's more than enough evidence to take it all the way.

Don't lie to the customer to get him to sign. Hire more competent people.

In January 2025, Macram (Client) engaged our services for an AI Video & Image Recognition Software. Both parties agreed to a phased approach, beginning with a Minimum Viable Product (MVP). A formal contract was signed on February 19, 2025, for a total of 24,000 USD, structured as follows:
Advance Payment: $4,000 (Project Initiation)

Milestone 1: $5,000 (Basic web crawler setup)

Milestone 2: $5,000 (Facial recognition integration)

Milestone 3: $5,000 (UI development & visualization)

Final Payment: $5,000 (Pre-delivery completion)

Project Completion & Acceptance: All milestones were completed successfully. Invoices were raised strictly upon client approval of the respective deliverables. Following the final payment, the source code was handed over, and the client formally accepted the completed MVP. During development, out-of-scope features were mutually deferred to Phase 2.

The Dispute The conflict arose during negotiations for Phase 2. We provided a baseline quote of 6,400 USD. The client demanded that the work be done for 3,000 USD. When we explained that we could not lower our price further and declined the Phase 2 work, the client threatened us with negative reviews and legal action.

We maintain that the MVP phase of work was fully delivered, paid for, and closed to the client's satisfaction. We can provide all signed contracts, email threads, and WhatsApp conversations to substantiate these facts.

I was planned to be live but because of so many complexities they ddidn't deliver as expected 

They promised something and when real work came they delayed by foolish excuses

Api integration was a nightmare they failed and blamed us 

I was done with them and despite paying 2750 usd they are not willing to share the source codes of what I paid for 

They gave me 10 % of the work and didn't do fair deal and made me left in the middle of no where 

Now, I am supposed to start over again and find a new company. I wasted my time, energy, and money.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Brainium Information Technologies designed and developed our website from scratch. I had an idea of what I wanted, and Brainium Information Technologies coached me to achieve it. The team also helped me develop the form on the site, determine when customers click, and how quickly I can get that response. We initially had a Wix account, so we upgraded our plan with Wix to get the website we wanted. The team will help us with SEO and do website maintenance in the future. 

What is the team composition? 

We worked with three people from Brainium Information Technologies. I started with Bias, who coordinated everything. Then, she transferred me to Goutam, who oversaw the project. I didn’t have direct interaction with the developer.

How did you come to work with Brainium Information Technologies?

I found them through a Google search. They appealed to me because they had great reviews, which was the number one factor, and their flexibility and pricing were competitive.

How much have you invested with them?

We spent just over $1,000. I paid for a block of hours with them, and we still have about 30 hours left.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in October 2024, and the project lasted three weeks.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We’re getting leads, and Brainium Information Technologies exceeded our expectations. People take us seriously when we have an active website. Although we're still not where we're supposed to be, that's because SEO efforts haven't started. Once the SEO kicks in and the other spaces where we’re advertising require a website, I believe the leads will pick up.

How did Brainium Information Technologies perform from a project management standpoint?

Brainium Information Technologies delivered on time and communicated well with us. They completed the project excellently without using up all our hours with them. There was no set time; I gave them the flexibility to take their time because I was in no rush. Weekly, we had video reviews to discuss how things were going. We also discussed how the forms should look.

We used email and WhatsApp for communication. We had several WhatsApp groups involving all the key players. I sent them pictures of what needed to be uploaded. The official correspondence, like invoices, went through email. Goutam was our main point of contact; I gave him my expectations, and he liaised with the developer. Bias made sure the project got done. 

Are there any employees from the service provider's team that you would like to give a shout-out to in this review?

I’d like to give a shout-out to Gautam. He was very professional and understanding, and my interaction with him was excellent. The entire team was great and easy to deal with.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Brainium Information Technologies was professional. I let them guide me, and I wasn’t stringent about how I wanted things done. I gave them my expectations, and they guided me. That helped make the project successful.

Are there any areas they could improve?

The time difference was a big factor, and we only had a small window to communicate. If I missed that window, I had to email or call them. However, we made it work and it wasn't their fault, so there's nothing they needed to improve.

My experience with Brainium Information Technologies was exceptional. They’re professionals, and I wouldn’t hesitate to work with them on any type of project, big or small. They have the team and expertise to meet and exceed any project.
