Our company wished to produce an application from scratch. We we're very successful and updates are ongoing.

What were your goals for this project?

To produce a functioning app to Beta test and then refine for release to the public.

How did you select Brainium Information Technologies?

My team first searched for agencies within the UK, only to find that they were charging too much for the value they could produce. Brainium was a perfect choice for us, as the value they produce is equal to, if not much more, than the value they charge.

Once we selected brainium, we were assigned a team to help us reach our vision. An email chain was created so we could communicate ideas to and fro. We reached many milestones and helped us reach conclusions that we couldn't reach just on our own.

After a period of a few months, we had working prototypes that we could refine, beta test and collect data. We are now currently refining the back end system, so we can manage data more efficiently.

We also have many plans to improve our app for the future. Which will be carried out solely by our brainium team.

Initially we were assigned a Brainium team from. Over time, we were assigned a new team. The transition was seamless.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We have completed the app to a post beta stage but prior to initial launch. We have retailers that are teamed up with us exclusively because they were impressed by the app.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

The team we were assigned (Arpita, Azhar & Deberati), are great at communicating & accomplishing tasks quickly. There has been no problems encountered thus far.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

I was most impressed by the ability to overcome problems through their team effort. There hasn't been anything as of yet that they haven't been able to achieve, no matter the task.

Are there any areas for improvement?

There is no aspect of Brainium that isn't satisfactory.

Our company Thermal Process Systems is a supplier of sterilization and pasteurization machinery for the food industry. I am the managing director of the company and was close involved with the app development.

What were your goals for this project?

To have an app where the user can determine themselves according to the production they plan the energy need for this process as well as being able to supply our brochure through the app.

How did you select Brainium Information Technologies?

We contacted a series of companies, but ended to work with Branium because they were professional in their reply, fast, relevant for the subject and within the budget. In fact, first not completely, but we found an agreement which was acceptable for both parties.

As mentioned above we had some ideas on the developement of an app to determine steam consumption. We explained our process in detail to Branium and they came up with a first version. Then we improved it in a couple of steps till a satisfactory result.

What was the team composition?

Branium had first a sales contact and then a project manager. We were happy to work with them. From our side first a junior manager did a pre selection and basic idea and then I got involved to get the further details settled.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We personally are very satisfied with the result, but we notice the market is not fully ready for such a technical app. Real engineers think they do not need an app to determine the outcome and others do not want to pay for an app. In fact most people want a free app, but with the features of a 1000 USD software programm. The app itself is totally fine, we have now new ideas to modify and make it more attractive in use. Note that the purpose for us to have the app is mainly marketing and we were the first to be in our business with such and app.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

They provided easy and fast communication, regardless of the hour. Seems they do not sleep at Branium.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

The speed of working was fast, still all was fine. The project manager was available any time and always giving feedback, we were never out of the communication and Branium finished all till the last detail.

Are there any areas for improvement?

In the design department they could be more accurate, our design director is very strict until the last mm and was returning a couple of times. But all was settled without even discussing the matter. So all was fine.

We discussed with a couple of people from the management to the Manager of our project. Besides, our manager was just incredible, the man is working like 3 people and was even available at 11pm India time for me when I had questions or amendments to ask.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

They understood all our needs quickly and proposed amazing ideas to us in order to have a website that will be above our competitors in France in terms of quality, design etc. In the end, the website is better than what we expected.

We were discussing via SKYPE, you will see that they are always connected and answer directly. They are super clear and organised !

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

How they are assisting us in our day-to-day questions and the quality of the work. What is really good with Brainium, the proposal explain clearly all the steps that they will follow and the timeline for each step.

When they complete one step, they ask you to review and they will move to the next step only if you are 100% satisfied with the work done and believe me, we were always happy !

My company's mobile application is in the process of being created by Branium Information Technologies. I placed a solicitation out on Guru.com and paid a premium ad to request vendors.

The response was overwhelming as I was contacted by over 40 companies. I discussed my requirement with 15 of the vendors and Branium was placed in my top five list of candidates. After I talked to the Manager, I was confident that Brianium personnel understood my requirements, thus they were chosen.

What were your goals for this project?

My goal was to build a hybrid app that interfaces with a website. The intent was to build a platform that allows users to interact with each other.

SOLUTION

How did you select Brainium Information Technologies?

I selected Branium because the manager reviewed my requirement. He then created a document to explain how we could achieve my goal in stages and helped me determine what type of APIs would be integrated and platforms needed to make my app function properly.

They were fully transparent about the price, and did not have any hidden agenda or any hidden language within the contract. I work in contracting and I can tell you that Branium was upfront and “by the book”. Very upstanding company.

My project is called Uverlist. It is a classified Ads Jobs website that allows users to act as employers or employees to search for and apply for jobs that users place on the website/mobile apps, or accept jobs from other users.

What was the team composition?

My project is currently in development. So far I have a three-person team as the company is in the development phase. I am also working with Branium personnel, whom I also consider my Branium personnel my remote team, or my company adjacent team.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

I believe that the project is wildly successful so far. The project is still not finished but I am satisfied up to date. Branium has accomplished the goals that we set out to do. If I am not satisfied, the Branium team has been eager and willing to fix any problems to fulfill all the needs, meet the mission requirement, and fulfill my vision.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

The workflow is great. I talk to the project manager and the developer weekly. We keep each other honest. I have very high expectations for my project and they deliver on the services. There have not been any major issues.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

What is most impressive to me is my developer. She is working hard to make my vision a reality. At one point in the process, I was unsure if my project was going to decline in the level of service.

I am working with my second manager. At the end of 2018, my original project manager finished a requirement and informed me that he was taking a promotion at another company. The new project manager came on board, and the project did not decline, which indicates that Branium has a very capable staff on board to address all of a company's needs.

Are there any areas for improvement?

I will not offer any improvements as our work is ongoing and I am of the belief that our work, overall interactions, and our partnership is improving every day.

What were your goals for this project?

The main goal was making a fast website. Moreover, improving the design quality of web-pages in comparison to the previous web was the other goal.

SOLUTION

How did you select Brainium Information Technologies?

Through a google search, I found the company, connected to them, and described my expectations. Brainium presented a proposal. Through our conversations, we came to a common understanding of various aspects of the work.

I was convinced that the company's price and quality were what I expected, according to my previous experience.

The Company sent me a questionnaire regarding different aspects of website design. I filled it out and prepared a wishlist with specific details and website samples links for every page as well.

They sent me two mock-ups for the HOME page, and I reflected on my comments. After several back-and-forths, I approved the general design of the HOME page that was a pattern for all pages.

The process repeated for every page, and finally, I approved the web design. Then Brainium made the web live. I had some minor alterations that the company fulfilled them.

The web was not as fast as I expected, so I prepared a new web-hosting, and the company converts the website to the new hosting.

What was the team composition?

The company's manager assigned the project manager to my project. There were other persons as the web designers and server experts that supported the project. I contacted the project manager, who was in connection with the team members, and he delivered the web designers' updates to me.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

In comparison to the previous website that was similar to the new one, the Fully Loaded Time decreased from 12 seconds to less than 2 seconds, the Total Page Size decreased from 8 MB to 1.5 MB, and the Requests decreased from 150 to 24

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

I connected continuously with the project manager and shared my comments with him. The project manager shared my thoughts with web designers and shared their updates with me. Step by step, the design was developed effectively until I approved the whole design.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

The improvement was consistent and perceptible.

Are there any areas for improvement?

Discussion between the team and I was time-consuming. In some cases, the team suggested their thoughts as I was open to team suggestions. However, this process and communication took time; it caused a favorite result.

We needed fast development of a solution for schools to face the COVID-19 pandemic, with a reasonable investment.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We found them through a referral, and the expediency in communication, their understanding of our technical requirements, and stability of the development team were key factors for us.

They developed a MongoDB database, a customized web portal which allows schools to manage users, Covid quarantine, and contact tracing. They also developed a mobile app to connect to BLE tags, and APIs to connect these different layers.

There were 4 people working with us, an account manager, a web developer, an app developer, and a project manager.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

We were able to keep development on track, as we jointly managed weekly deliverables. We discussed progress daily and gave QC feedback on the functionalities.

They consistently met deadlines, solved any issues detected on our tests, and were friendly behaving as true partners all the time. We used Jira to define deliverables and sprints.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

We had direct access to the whole team, and there was a sense of partnership about the project. It was easy to discuss issues, with no blaming by either party, with a very professional attitude.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Our project development is still ongoing, and documentation may be an issue. They were clear about services they are not able to provide at this time, but which would be necessary for us (architecture and security).

My wife is a realtor, and the name of her company is Jill Lake Incorporated.

What challenge were you trying to address with Brainium Information Technologies?

My wife was looking for a way to modernize her marketing. She decided to develop an app in place of print and direct mail marketing and advertising, which have gone by the wayside and been replaced by social media and the internet. She was looking to provide an experience for her clients but, more importantly, potential clients. She wanted to reach mobile users and give them information about Davidson, North Carolina, the town that we live in. I was tasked with working out this application for my wife.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Brainium Information Technologies developed our mobile app for iOS and Android. With people constantly looking up things on Google, we developed this app with the hope that they could find out anything they wanted to about our town: restaurants, hotels, gas stations, grocery stores, schools, city services, and Davidson College. When users open the app, the screen says it’s sponsored by Jill Lake. My wife can also add her featured listings to the app. Users can get information about her real estate business and the properties that she has listed.

What is the team composition?

There was one particular developer that was assigned to the project, but there were probably four people I could contact if I had any issues or questions. I liked having more than one contact.

How did you come to work with Brainium Information Technologies?

We looked for a developer domestically, but there were some problems with that. I tried to get in touch with a few developers, but they were slow to return emails or calls. Then, the costs were very high. A domestic developer was going to cost about $10,000–$12,000, and most of them wanted a service contract as well, so they’d be kept on to take care of technical issues. That was out of our budget, so I turned to Google. I found a couple of offshore developers. What brought us to Brainium was their quick response to our inquiries. They provided complete answers to our questions and laid out a comprehensive program and timeline of how this would be developed.

How much have you invested with them?

The cost was about $5,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

They started working on the app in August 2016, and they finished in November 2017. They would’ve gotten it done a lot faster if we hadn’t kept changing our minds.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We’ve had some issues getting the app on the Apple Store, but the Android app has been downloaded more than 17,000 times, which is pretty good for a local app. That has led to some inquiries about the real estate business. The app they delivered far exceeded what we’d hoped for.

How did Brainium Information Technologies perform from a project management standpoint?

Communication was excellent, and they met every deadline. One thing that I really wanted to include in this review is that I was a very difficult client. I personally do quite a bit of financial programming, so I thought that I knew how this app would be put together and how it would work, but frankly, I didn't know. Brainium deserves a lot of credit — they were very professional and patient, even though I wasn’t very easy to deal with. They responded to my emails right away. We changed our minds several times as to how we wanted the app to look, but they performed admirably. They were better than anyone I could’ve hoped for.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They did an exceptional job communicating and meeting timelines and goals. They under promised and over delivered. The support after the app launched was the strength of their company. Our server host didn’t help us with terrible server problems we had. Brainium helped us about six times, even though this wasn’t even their problem; it had nothing to do with them, and they couldn’t have been more gracious.

Are there any areas they could improve?

There are always things that could be done better. However, based on my experience with them, it’s hard for me to think of something they could’ve done better. I’m just so grateful for the way that they dealt with me. They met all of the goals and pricing. Their strength is their teamwork and communication. I don’t know how, on their part, it could’ve been any better.

Any advice for potential customers?

Listen to what they say; don’t be like me and think that you know. If you have no programming experience, all you have to do is listen to what they tell you, read the information that they send you, and believe what they tell you, and it’ll go very smoothly.
