Clutch recognizes the top companies on its platform twice a year - once in the Spring and once in the Fall. We identify leaders using a methodology that evaluates companies on their industry expertise and ability to deliver.
How We Measure Industry Expertise
We determine a company’s industry expertise by evaluating 5 criteria:
- Services offered
- Clients
- Case studies
- Awards received
- Social media presence
How We Measure Ability to Deliver
A company’s ability to deliver score considers the following 4 criteria:
- Recency, number, and quality of Clutch-verified reviews published to your company profile
- Types of clients you work with
- Services you offer and your experience providing those services
- Brand reputation and visibility in your target market
Since the number, recency, and quality of client reviews influences your company's visibility on Clutch, we encourage all companies to use our platform as a feedback loop.
About 50% of businesses rely on third-party, online reviews sites to monitor brand reputation, so submitting client references and letting your Clutch Analyst collect and verify reviews can improve your chances of attracting qualified customers.
Clutch analysts are trained to be neutral while conducting interviews to ensure all reviews are thorough, verified, and accurate.
How to Become a Clutch Leader
Companies that receive high marks for industry expertise and ability to deliver have a greater chance of becoming leaders in their respective industry segments.
These companies are featured in our Leaders Matrices and can participate in a variety of marketing opportunities, including press releases, content resources, widgets, and awards.
How to Become a Clutch Champion
All Clutch Global Winners who received at least 3 or more new verified reviews within a six month time period are considered Clutch Champions - our highest achievement for companies listed on our platform.
