First, we had a discovery call with the WPExperts team, myself, and our client. This meeting provided WPExperts with the scope of the project. Shortly after this we were provided with a proposal with pricing, and timeline for the completion of the project. We agreed to the proposal and work was completed within 3 weeks and the plugin files were handed over to my team for installation.

A project manager was our primary contact, who attended the zoom meeting. I also had email conversations with the developers directly.

Our client was on the verge of losing a key customer if this problem wasn't resolved in a timely manner. Since this problem has now been solved, the key customer is no longer threatening to leave.

The project manager set a timeline that worked well for us, and they were able to meet the deadline. Communication was impeccable.

WP Experts had deep experience in the specific tools that the business was using. their expertise made it an easy choice!

WP Experts were able to quickly set the business up using their plug-in, integrating with Square, Wordpress, AND WooCommerce. this is a fairly common stumbling block for small businesses, as the integration effort can be nontrivial.

It was no problem for WP Experts, as they are already well versed in the common pitfalls and gotchyas one encounters. things I had been struggling to find and diagnose were already on their radar, and they were able to customize their plug-in in less than a day to suit the specific nature of the business’ pre-existing irl process.

I only interacted with Tariq, however he was so unbelievably responsive as to boggle the mind. he was able to turn things around in a matter of hours, not days, and I would often speak to him at 2am, only to find the updated file waiting for me the next morning!

Tariq and WP Experts were absolutely perfect for our project! I can’t imagine anyone being able to deliver the results that he did so quickly. Wordpress can be a mess! beyond that, it wasn’t even too expensive.

In some sense, much of the value could be considered to have come from the plug-in, but on the other, we all know how much of a pain in the rear it is getting all this stuff talking to each-other, and little tiny things can cause hours of heartache. in that regard WP Experts are worth twice their weight in electrons! stop banging your head against things unrelated to your job, and get back to solving the real problems!

I mentioned this already, but yes, any way, any time you prefer to get the files, Tariq will make sure that it works for you!

working with a Wordpress plug-in developer just means that they have already been through all of the problems you are encountering, and had to find a way to fix it, and fix it well for their plug-in!

We are required to provide timely reporting of course completion data to state government agencies. We needed a custom Wordpress plugin / application that automates the collection / maintenance / inquiry of our students successful completion of courses / quizzes. It needed to provide user friendly visibility to the data in one place versus our prior methods which required going to multiple sources and compiling the data in spreadsheets. Providing the accurate data via a user friendly interface that allows multiple forms of inquiry would enable us to reduce the time and cost of reporting to the state agencies.

WpExperts had worked on a few other smaller projects for us. We were pleased with the the outcome of those projects.

I described some of this in the challenge section. I provided via email specifications in the form of screen snippets that illustrated the sources of the data, the desired output was illustrated in spreadsheet format. I provided detailed business rules in written form. These were used to design the application logic. We exchanged a few emails to clarify the requirements. WpExperts developed the plugin and provided it to me for installation on out test site. I tested the plugin and identified a couple areas that needed refinement. After testing was complete and I had the final version it was loaded on our production site. WpExperts provided support when we had a couple problems with incomplete data. They revised the plugin. We retested and installed the correct plugin in production.

There were two who worked on this project. One was a project manager and one was a developer.

As a result of using the new application one of our employees recovered approximately 14 hours of work time per week. This time is now used for other value added tasks. We are able confidently report course completion data to the state agencies.

Since they are remote to use we exclusively used email to communicate. They set my expectations on when to expect the work to be finished and they met that expectation. They were professional thorough and courteous in their communications.

They have on staff developers that possess the knowledge and experience required to develop custom Wordpress applications. They also have a solid understanding of the core Learning Management System that we use in our business.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

I think it would be helpful if they used telephone and virtual conference meetings to communicate with their customers when email is less efficient or effective. This would be a challenge when different languages are involved.

They developed a Wordpress plugin from zero. The plugin had to connect with the custom ERP API and map-out as well as instantly synchronize multiple data in amphidromous sync. The difficulty was that the API from the ERP developer was not fully developed and updated or optimized to sync with WordPress. So WPExperts team had to provide feedback and recommendations on updating and further developing the custom ERP API in order to streamline the ERP to WooCommerce syncing.

There were 2 project managers as well a few senior developers. Other resources would come and go depending on the specific problem solved at any given time.

The project was delayed which was expected due to the difficulty in communication between two different developer parties (ERP Developers and our project developers). However, WPExperts team tried as much as possible and did their best to deliver a working plugin that is very simple and easy to use for our client. That's great!

The project management is taking place through 1 project manager who is responsible to transfer the tasks and feedback to the internal team. Most of the communication is happening via Skype.

I appreciate the fact that although in times things seemed to be off course, they did everything they could to revert the situation and provide ideal results. They really care about the outcome of their client and that's admirable.

Definitely, the communication aspect can be improved by setting up clear processes as well as the translation part which sometimes seems to be lost.

They sent us a project estimate along with a timeline, and when we approved it, they immediately got started. We were working with WordPress Elementor-based website with customized on-page elements that needed to be coded to update dynamically when the website is running crowdfunding campaigns. We introduced the client along with some team members and we oversaw the project with daily updates sent to us.

The website work was delivered on time and exactly as planned in the scope of work and as we discussed in the onboarding meetings. They were extremely responsive and always kept us up to date daily. They helped us achieve what we could not get done through 3 other custom developers we tried to work with.

Most communications were handled through the slack messaging system, and by email, if needed for sending larger longer updates. Phones calls were set up as needed and they worked each day on the project full time until it was completed.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

They solved the website dev challenges that we could not complete, and 3 other companies we tried to do the same custom work we needed. WPExperts were the only ones who could complete it, and they did it precisely in the amount of time they quoted. They were the first company we worked with that met their quoted deadlines and cost. All others went weeks over, and still could not get the work done. WPExperts implemented the technical pieces we needed to work on as outlined and planned from the start and if there was a better way to do something they would make recommendations rather than just do what is asked.

Nothing to be improved, as we can see. As mentioned above, everything was on time, and they were fully engaged in the project to make sure we had the best quality, stable work done.

After agreeing on the cost and the estimated time frame the work could be completed by, I was happy to get started. WPExperts was very diligent and once the custom plugin was finished, the delivered some demonstrations and allowed me to test the finished product extensively to make sure my needs were met before finalizing the contract.

I had regular correspondance with our point of contact which revolved around establishing and completeing objectives. We didn't focus on meeting once per day or on a time-based schedule, but rather focused on exchanging progress reports and status updates based on stages of development completion.

I have little experience as a web developer, but their team made me feel comfortable and relaxed witht he entire process during this project. I was relieved by how they were able to explain and work with me, despite my lack of experience in this arena.

I can't imagine anything that would have helped streamline this process. WPExperts was able to deliver the product ahead of schedule and bug-free, and the correspondence I had with their team was always professional and courteous! Reallly, they are a stellar company!

So far their work is outstanding our project is a 7-month project and we receive the first Milestone and checked with the NEAR protocol expert also and they said that everything is Great.

They finish the first Milestone before the deadline and this is remarkable for us because time is very important in a project like this. We have fluid communication with the project manager by Whatsapp and he always answers fast and gets a solution as soon as possible.

I think the personalization you really feel like they take your project like their project, they take care a lot of Reputation and have the best quality in their services and their delivers
