I’m the manager of No Plaid Brands, a consumer products and services company. We’re the creators of The Last 100, a luxury gin brand.

What challenge were you trying to address with White Unicorn Agency?

We needed help giving our brand a face and a direction for what we have to offer the spirits market.

What was the scope of their involvement?

White Unicorn Agency has designed our bottle, website, and logo. They’ve also written our brand story and copy. The team has taken our story and made it come alive in several ways. The scope has changed slightly, but they’ve led us through it all perfectly.

We found them through a referral. We chose them over other options because they were a great culture fit, and their company values aligned with ours.

We started working together in May 2024, and the engagement is ongoing.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

The bottle has been the biggest deliverable, but every part of what we’ve contracted with them has been super successful. We haven’t launched yet, but everyone we’ve shown the deliverables to has been impressed. The work has helped us gain partners and distribution contacts.Moreover, the largest impact has been that we were going to sell only to bars and restaurants the first year before going retail. However, after the bottle design was created, it was so good that we now plan on going retail on day one.

How did White Unicorn Agency perform from a project management standpoint?

Matt, our project mgr, has been a total rock star and has found products and vendors we would never have found on our own. He’s the best! We’ve mainly communicated through in-person meetings.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They’ve been creative, but that creativity has been real-world work and not crazy stuff that we would never consider. It’s been difficult to choose a final direction on certain parts because all of the options have been so good.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I can’t think of anything they could improve. They’ve overdelivered on every aspect of our project, and I’ve never experienced that with many vendors.
