I am the UX/UI designer in this company. Our company is a skincare brand based in California and we were on the stage of rebranding the company.

For what projects/services did your company hire Webscratchers Technologies, and what were your goals?

We hired Webscratchers to design our company's entire website. We also had their work on additional UI/UX functionalities.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We selected Webscratchers as we were very impressed with the past projects that they worked on. Webscratchers technologies have worked on websites for Fortune 500 companies. After our introductory call, we knew that they were very hardworking and easy to communicate with. They exceeded our expectations.

The phase 1 project included brand identity strategy, setting up wireframes for the site, designing the site, developing it, and then launching it. Everything was tested and then we went live.

We had one point of contact but the entire team was available to share thoughts if we had questions or wanted to discuss ideas. Communication is really strong on their end so if we need something, we know we're going to get a reply very fast.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

The CEO is really happy with the new website, which is a delight. The website has good traffic and is getting continued growth, so we are satisfied with the overall performance. The project was completed on time and Webscratcher's service was exceptional.

We're still working with Webscratchers and are proud of our relationship with them. They're a great team. Everything has been addressed in a timely manner: there’s good communication, easy access through message and phone, good availability -- I mean, we’ve even spoken on the weekends

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

The ability to solve very complex problems and provide a clear roadmap on how we can better accomplish our website goals. The most impressive thing for me has been their ability to constructively listen and come back with new ideas. They also make recommendations that we'd never thought of. They're always looking to provide new ways to grow or new trends in the market so I'm impressed with the skill and expert advice they bring to the table.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

They're doing a fantabulous job.

Beauty at the Bay is a Beauty and Wellness Spa located in Redondo Beach, California. We offer a range of services from skincare to body care. We have the best beauty and wellness technologies in the industry. Maura Kennedy Davis (MKD), founder of Beauty at the Bay has enjoyed a lifelong love affair with health and beauty.

A graduate of Studio Makeup Academy from inside Gower Studios, and Aesthetic Treatment Technology of Southern California, MKD is also certified in the latest PCA peel process and continues to keep her finger on the pulse of the latest breakthrough skincare technologies. Her diligence in ongoing certifications to bring the best possible treatments to her clients has earned her the name "The skin whisperer."

We worked with one Web Project Manager who communicated very well. Regarding backend and frontend tasks, we interacted directly with the skilled developers and frontend web designers on their team.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Webscratchers designed, developed, optimized, configured, and then launched Beauty at the Bay's new website and most importantly within the agreed-upon deadline. The project mainly focused on UX/UI Custom Website Design and Shopify Development.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

The web project manager assigned to Beauty at the Bay communicated well informing us about the progress of development via the Podio tool. I appreciated the workflow they organized via Podio. We also used Skype for weekly communication.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Webscratchers delivered custom outstanding UI/UX website design and an impressive website. The Webscratchers Technologies team was an incredible combination of talented and responsive members. From design to development, they knocked each stage out of the park and surpassed all expectations. At the same time, the team was an absolute pleasure to work with - so kind, responsive, flexible, and really concerned with making sure our needs were met.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

They were proficient in everything they did.

VersaTables is a furniture manufacturing company based in Los Angeles, California. VersaTables is a thriving environmentally-friendly manufacturing facility founded over 20 years ago. The basic principle of this company is producing high-quality products at a great price. The American made furniture company caters to schools, government, cooperation's, and consumers in America.

Our website was broken and very limited in terms of functionality and features. VersaTables needed a lot of UX/ UI updates and a complete redesign. We needed a website development company who could understand what we needed and build us a new site that had great functionalities. We needed professional website design and development help.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We found this Vendor on Upwork. We interviewed multiple candidates, but what won us over was their emphasis on helping our business succeed, not just giving our website a makeover. The comprehensive audit of the entire website was invaluable and led to more informed and confident design decisions.

Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.

To start, we filled out a discovery document. This helped Webscratchers gain a complete understanding of Versa's business (who we are, our values, our brand personality, our target market). Every detail in this doc was used by them to make a design that fit who we are as a company. After reviewing the document, the team then started their audit, which was broken up into 3 parts:

• UX Audit and Strategy
  • This audit dissected our brand position and personality, the visual aspect of the business, our market and audience, website behavior, and an SEO summary.
• UX Audit and Strategy
  • This dove into our target audiences including user personas and user journeys and our Product Usability
• Competitor Research
  • Lastly, this deck went over our direct, who they were, what they did well, how we could emulate some of those qualities. After the audits, Webscratchers had a full grasp on where we stood and where we needed to go, so it was time to start designing. We went back and forth on the designs as it progressed, and we were able to see updates in real time.
• We went through multiple iterations, and Webscratchers was always happy to make any and all changes, even when we were being somewhat indecisive. Eventually, we got a great functionality website with the best UX/ UI that we wanted and are extremely happy with the end product.

We worked with Peeyush and his team of four people. The positions were Front end Web designer, web developer SEO specialist, PPC Expert, and Social Media Manager,

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

The website's ecommerce sales increased by 33% and the organic traffic has increased by 40%. Moreover, the organic sales increased from $715 in May, 2022 to $12,500 in August 2022. We have seen a tremendous increase in the bottom line.

Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.

We would have daily calls on Skype. We used Jira, Podio, Gmail, Google Sheets, to keep track and communicate on daily tasks. They always submitted all the projects on or begore the deadline. We never faced any issues in regards to timeline. They would always communicate clearly the time a project will take in advance. This would help us understand the turn around time. They usually would deliver projects in a short time frame.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

The UX/UI design of our website when they completed the redesign was the best and according to our needs. The most impressive aspect was their genuine desire for our business to succeed.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

I couldn't think of anything they could have done differently.
