• The project is in progress. But the outcomes are producing clickable prototype, POC, mvp, launching product into the market.

They have a project management team who helps track deliverables, action items, and timelines. They are very responsive.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

They take very seriously what it takes for us to be successful. They understand launching a startup is not easy and they provide guidance to help us navigate difficulties we run into as we figure out how to adjust based upon market feedback.

Are there any areas for improvement or something Varyence could have done differently?

It would be nice if they were onsite locally sitting right beside me but we do not have the budget for that. That's why we wanted to engage their Ukraine office.

• Website performance improved/views increased/marketing seems more successful and am much busier thanks to them!

yes - almost too quickly. I slowed them down needing to review what they did.

super helpful/insightful, and the personal attention of top management was impressive.

nothing I can think of. Perhaps they were a bit more technical/marketing focused than the legal community is used to - I think I was a bit slower than them. But they did their best to explain - and by trusting them things worked out.

Hired company to develop a simple web app to host public health resources for extremely rural and poor county in North Carolina. Company took $5000 and delivered nothing with last email inquiry accusing inquires about project as harassment. Company already involved in additional law suits but was incredibly difficult to engage with no understanding of the project and took grant HRSA grant monies allotted to help the vulnerable population of rural NC.

• none, no deliverables received

Nothing delivered. They showed no accountability in communication. Despite the investment, CTO never indicated any understanding of project despite payments.

Arrogance and confidence without ability to deliver. Terrible attitude from CTO who acted like a child. Would never recommend him or their services to anyone. So disappointing.

Actually produced something for the grant money taken.

It's disheartening to learn that you had an unsatisfactory experience during a Healthcare product strategy discussion (often involving one of our CDO, Data Ontologist-Data Scientist, and CTO resources). We always aim to deliver the highest level of service to our clients.

Please note that our company policy necessitates an upfront retainer fee to allocate the appropriate resources and time to ensure our clients' satisfaction. If any additional work arises beyond the initial scope, we maintain open communication with our clients and collaborate to find a mutually agreeable solution. We acknowledge that, in this instance, we were unable to reach a satisfactory resolution.

We made multiple attempts to engage in mediation and offered to discuss the situation over the phone, but unfortunately, these efforts were not reciprocated. We remain open to communication and would be happy to address your concerns should you reconsider.

We'd also like to clarify that our company has never taken government grants, and we solely work with private organizations.

In light of the ongoing Russian Invasion, we want to express our gratitude to all of our customers for their support, as a portion of every dollar goes towards helping Ukraine. Many of our colleagues are based there, and we appreciate your understanding during these challenging times.
