Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the owner of Mexican restaurants and a partner of a soccer academy, all in Taiwan.
What challenge were you trying to address with Teqlis?
The website for my restaurants wasn’t good. After Teqlis completed an initial project well, I asked them to help my website.
What was the scope of their involvement?
Teqlis developed a new website for my restaurant. I gave them examples of website designs. Then, their team created options that were better than what I showed them. They designed most of the platform. Their team also built video content and features that tie in active marketing campaigns. For example, there are pop-ups that collect information about customers who join our contests. The information's then sent to our autoresponders, so customers get automatic e-mails about the contest and we’re able to contact them with offers. Teqlis made the responses appear customized. Facebook messenger’s big in our market, so their team also tied our account into the website.
How did you come to work with Teqlis?
I took a course on social media where a colleague recommended Upwork. I researched service providers and found Teqlis. I viewed their work that I liked. I had a good feeling about the partnership. We hit it off and have kept working together for years.
How much have you invested with them?
The website cost about $1,200.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working together around 2018 and continue to collaborate. They worked on the website for my restaurants around April 2019 and completed it in December.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
Our website supports our business and it turned out well. Both the design and the features look good, so people checkout the platform now. Their team did so well with the autoresponder that customers think that I send them personal offers. Even though we’re a couple of small restaurants, Teqlis made us look really good.
I’ll work with Teqlis forever. There’s no need to work with anyone else. When I asked questions—even if it was outrageous— they found a solution. There were a lot of tasks that their team completed that I didn’t think were possible, so I've recommended Teqlis to many people.
How did Teqlis perform from a project management standpoint?
They meet all deadlines if not complete tasks early. If there was a big assignment that needed to be done quickly, their team worked until it was done. We live in different countries and they’ll work overnight to finish a task.
What did you find most impressive about them?
They’re out-of-the-box thinkers. I give them a rough idea of what I want and they’re able to create products that I didn’t think were possible. Their service is good and their team’s great.
Are there any areas they could improve?
To be honest, they’re the best website developers that I’ve worked with. Teqlis is head and shoulders above other service providers.

I recommend them. Any ideas that you dream for your website—even if you think they’re crazy—let Teqlis know because they can do it.
