We were looking for a development partner to provide us with the following service:  

• App developer
• App Maintenance
• Uploading of content
• involving UX design
• iPhone X and XS/XR upgrade of iOS App
• migration of server to AWS cloud services from MS Azure
• and Admin CMS

What were your goals for this project?

The end goal of our project was for our learning app to be especially convenient so that our learners can use them at any time and anywhere. By developing an educational app, we provide users with the opportunity to review a course they want on a convenient schedule.

Describe the project in detail. We are a multinational hospitality company with more than 5100 hotels 300,000 employees worldwide. We operate in 110 countries. We needed a multilingual mobile application (both iOS and Android) for our employees' training purposes.

Techno Companion built this application for us. It started with a workshop where we explained our requirements to them. Based on this workshop, Techno Companion came up with the wireframes and the designs. Designs were user friendly. Once the designs were finalized, they did the development for us in the Agile model.

They used to show us a small module of the working product every week, incorporate our feedback and this way finally came out with the final version of the application. Our app was built in 8 different languages. After we went live, Techno Companion, also supported us with the Support & Maintenance.

What was the team composition?

On the very first day, we were assigned a Product Owner who guided us through the complete process. He was our main point of contact. Although the team included 2 designers, 2 iOS developers, 2 Android developers, 2 backend developers, 1 TL and 2 QAs. Product Owner managed this team for us.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

YAS Techno Companion, who has been providing application development and consulting services to us for the past 18 months. Our association with them has been characterized by integrity, flexibility, quality and persistent commitment.

The migration of our server was smooth sailing and our end users seamlessly transitioned without any interruptions. The outcome of the project was increased traction and engagement and we continue to hear positive feedback on the flow and UX of the app.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

They have a flexible approach to the work and their style complements ours very well. I especially want to thank and mention Sahil, our dedicated manager as communication with him has always been fantastic – Sahil’s turnaround time to resolving issues and providing solutions never fails to amaze us and exceeds our expectation.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

The turnaround time in resolving issues of the team never failed to amaze us and exceeded our expectations.
