TCF was responsible for supporting the strategy, launch, and management of the Kickstarter campaign. Their work focused on defining the campaign positioning and messaging, structuring and optimizing the Kickstarter page, and managing paid advertising to drive traffic and conversions.

Throughout the campaign, TCF monitored performance, tested and optimized ads and messaging, and worked closely with the team to adjust the strategy as needed and ensure the campaign stayed on track.

The campaign successfully reached and surpassed its Kickstarter funding goal, confirming strong market interest in the campaign. It generated a high volume of qualified traffic to the campaign page, achieved solid conversion rates from paid ads, and resulted in a meaningful number of backers and pre-orders. In addition, the project increased brand visibility and helped build an initial community of early adopters that we could continue engaging with after the campaign ended.

There are always small areas for improvement, mainly around double-checking certain elements before going live and allowing a bit more flexibility to incorporate ideas coming from our internal team. That said, overall the experience was very positive. Communication was clear and transparent throughout the project, and the TCF team was responsive, collaborative, and open to feedback.

However, the quality of sales management and KOL outreach was more average, and these areas required more input from our side to reach a satisfactory level.

Although the outcomes did not precisely align with our initial projections, we were pleased with TCF's cooperative and transparent approach to managing the project. They maintained a high level of professionalism throughout the campaign and provided regular updates on ad performance and campaign metrics.

In terms of timeliness, they delivered their services in a timely manner and were able to meet our deadlines. Their communication was also prompt and efficient, with regular updates on the performance of our Facebook ads and suggestions for improvement. Their transparent communication and willingness to collaborate with us on adjustments and improvements made them a trustworthy partner in the campaign.

Time difference can be challenging. Sometimes we make ourselves available early morning or after office hour to be able to connect with third parties, to prevent delays in timeline or target. It would be great if we can take turns in taking early or late response.

We wanted to launch EthyloKey, the world’s first touch-based alcohol detector. The challenge was big because our product defined a new category.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

We worked with TCF Team in the prelaunch phase to know how to communicate and to whom. Then, we started a lead generation phase preparing the launch. The team helped us in the optimization of our Kickstarter page. They also ran our Meta and Google ads with a ROAS of around 3.5. Moreover, they did missions for the launch, having articles from Spain to Eastern Europe talking about our tech. Regarding deliverables, TCF Team generated more than 2,500 leads before the launch. They also handled press relations worldwide and created some visuals for the ads. We did the full setup of the Kickstarter page and created the assets and videos. However, TCF Team gave us feedback and advice to improve conversion.
