I’m the director of sales at a live chat solution serving clients in very specific industries. We focus on and emphasize having meaningful conversations with website visitors. 

After our clients’ marketing efforts and investments to drive people to their websites — which we consider their virtual front door —  we’re there to meet their end customers and answer in-depth questions. Then, we garner information, build relationships, and pass those along to the clients.  Overall, we aim to drive top-line ROI for them.

Scrum Digital helps us upgrade our dashboards, reporting tools, and any other technologies that we use on our end.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Scrum Digital handles all technological upgrades, including AI, PHP, and similar things on the backend of our platform. They’ve given us three resources that work for us full-time and serve as extra support teams on our end. They also streamline our processes and make everything easier, better-looking, and more straightforward. Their work continues to grow as we move along from phase one to phase two of the engagement; the current phase is a one-year project. 

What is the team composition?

We work with three people from their team.

How did you come to work with Scrum Digital Pvt Ltd?

They’ve done some small projects for us in the past. Somebody initially reached out to us, and then we gave them projects to work on. From there, our relationship grew and they became a part of our team. 

How much have you invested with them?

Our monthly cost is around $4,000 per month. In total, we’ve spent around $50,000, including the upgrade costs and the little things that we’ve paid them to do. 

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working with them in February 2020, and the partnership is ongoing.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

We don’t have any data or statistics quite yet, but we’ll have much clearer metrics as this project continues to be built upon and worked on. All the feedback that we have right now comes internally and is more about how great they’ve been and how responsive they are. So far, everything has been super positive. As our project continues to develop, we’ll be able to show that performance on paper and have more standard metrics. 

How did Scrum Digital Pvt Ltd perform from a project management standpoint?

Scrum Digital performs extremely well in terms of project management. Overall, we’ve been truly happy with what they’ve been doing. We use JIRA, Slack, and plenty of other technologies that allow us to communicate with each other.

What did you find most impressive about them?

From a cost standpoint, they’re more competitive than others relative to what services we’re getting. However, what truly stands out to me is their communication. They’re a smaller team compared to other technology companies, but they work hard and communicate phenomenally. The team is very easy to speak with and get a hold of, and they’re personalized. They don’t work within any specific metrics or scope; they pretty much build out whatever we need. In other words, they’ve been very adaptable. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, there aren't any. We’ve been happy with them, and I don’t think there’s much I can say that they can improve upon.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Layout a plan that shows exactly what you want. The more details and information you can give, the better they can serve you. They always seem to have a solution, so don’t assume that they can’t do something. They’re adaptable and knowledgeable, and they have a ton of resources that they will utilize if necessary to create a customized solution for you.

What challenge were you trying to address with Scrum Digital Pvt Ltd?

We were assigned to establish a couple of complex apps for our client. It involved multiple integrations with third parties, so we needed help with that project.

The app provides all of the clinical services and bookings by patients and allows doctors to manage the calendar. We have multiple service providers that get access to the app, such as pathology labs, ambulance services, and pharmacies. There’s also a payment gateway integrated into the platform.

What was the scope of their involvement?

We provided wireframes to Scrum to get started. They’ve developed native iOS and Android apps and a fully functional web portal for the healthcare vertical. They’ve also done the UI/UX design.

What is the team composition?

We’ve been working with up to five people, including a project manager and developers.

I knew one of the co-founders of Scrum Digital Pvt Ltd. I was looking for a solution, so I approached him with what I needed, and gave me an excellent framework to work upon.

We’ve spent $20,000.

We started working together in November 2020 and the partnership is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We’ve deployed the portal and the Android app last month while the iOS app is still in the testing phase. Our main achievement with the app was getting people to download and accept it. We also wanted the convenience for service providers so they would latch onto our platform. 

From both sides, the feedback has been amazing. We’ve gotten around 200 customers and 12 service providers on our platform within one month of launch. We’re now trying to expand it through marketing. 

How did Scrum Digital Pvt Ltd perform from a project management standpoint?

Initially, it took us some time to communicate properly with the team, but it has become easier over time with the project manager. In addition, we have an in-house project management tool, which is developed locally by our team, and we give them access to it. 

Although Scrum manages the project within the timelines, there have been a few delays.

What did you find most impressive about them?

The most impressive thing about Scrum is that they care about their customers’ needs. They have a good understanding of our final objective and comprehend what we want to achieve as a business.

Are there any areas they could improve?

The only thing Scrum should improve on is in the initial period. They establish very slim communication that needs to be improved to make the client more comfortable.

Any advice for potential customers?

Clear your doubts on either side and set your expectations. Communication is key to meet timelines and requirements.

I am the Chief Marketing Officer of Seniors Blue Book. Since 1983 the Seniors Blue Book has helped Millions of Seniors & Caregivers navigate the confusing world of Senior Housing, Senior Care, Resources and Services. We help guide families in helping them navigate the confusing process of aging and finding the right resources. In the professional scope, we are also a marketing agency providing different print and digital solutions marketing the senior industry.

For what projects/services did your company hire Scrum Digital Pvt Ltd, and what were your goals?

We hired Scrum Digital to do a total website revamp. This included re-designing and reconstruction of our front-end, back-end administrative side, in addition to building out a custom CRM.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

After being incredibly dissatisfied with our prior development team and the limitations set for in using a standardized system, we decided to branch out and hire a new development team to start anew. Scrum Digital came highly recommend, and their work was superb.

Scrum Digital has been spot on perfect in delivering what we have outsourced them to do. They have great timelines in place, system communications with us, a highly proficient team of developers and designers, and their systems in getting the task at hand accomplished has been very organized. They tackle each step in a timely manner and are very proactive in working with the client to achieve a similar vision. Scrum uses the latest technology and has been very helpful in recommending solutions that would work best for our business model.

We are able to communicate directly with Mohit the owner on a routine weekly basis, along with a fully staffed development and SEO team. They are always prompt and carry incredibly professional communication.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

The project is still pending, but overall the changes that have taken place already on the site have been incredibly positive. Our clients are thrilled with the updated design & navigation, and everyone is looking forward to the complete site revamp.

Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.

Scrum follows a very organized method of communication. They use a system called Jira for weekly timeline tracking, and then both Slack and email for written communication. Zoom is also used for weekly check-in calls which are incredibly helpful. If we every fall a few days behind they put in extra effort to make up the timeline and stick to our outline.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

I find the broad range of services to be incredibly impressive. They can provide whatever digital services we need through their highly trained staff. They achieve their promised deliverables and have been a pleasure to work with.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Nothing in particular. As with any site revamp you get occasional system errors or parts that do not work after rollout, but their team is always incredibly prompt and fixes glitches the same day.

I’m the director of special projects for SiteStaff LLC, an online support staff service.

We initially hired them to develop an artificial intelligence-based job market project.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

They built the AI-based chatbox solution. We went through what we want, went through a competitive analysis on what features and functions to include, then they decided what an MVP would be.

They then designed wireframes and decided what technologies to use. The three technologies were Python, Laravel, and PHP. They also handled UI development, then did code testing on the whole thing.

What is the team composition?

It was about 7–8 people.

One of our employees named them as an option. We hired them because they had a good understanding of requirements and had a nice price point.

It was a fixed price point project at over $50,000.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

The quality was top-notch. I’d like to highlight their flexibility. It was an agile development, as our requirements kept changing every week. They were able to adapt to our changing requirements easily. They were very transparent, confident, and adaptable, making the project a success. All bugs were quickly fixed and were not an issue.

How did Scrum Digital Pvt Ltd perform from a project management standpoint?

They were very quick and responsive, delivering the project ahead of schedule for the agreed-upon initial budget. We communicated with Slack, phone calls, weekly meetings, and more. They maintained the time frame and the budget while making a high-quality project.

What did you find most impressive about them?

We love them and their flexibility. That’s why we’ve given them three more projects. They’re always available, even late at night, when we call them. They took the time to talk to us and get feedback immediately, even if that was in the middle of the night for them.

Are there any areas they could improve?

They probably could spend more time in testing. They deploy code really fast, so sometimes a bug goes through that we could’ve caught. But that depends on budget and timing, if we wanted to spend more money and time they could’ve done more testing.

I’d definitely recommend them because of their flexibility and transparency.
