Rushkar Technology Private Limited redesigned our application’s UI/UX. We started with one module, then gave them two other major modules. Then, we added the front-facing test player part of the software. They went from wireframes to mockups and worked through them using InVision. After they finished the design, we requested a quote to build the software. We shared our code with them, and they had to understand our server-side API. They also got involved in things like database design.

The team is now coding the product using .NET Core and AngularJS. They’re developing a staging environment our team will implement on our software. Additionally, Rushkar Technology Private Limited uses Backbone.js on some modules. They modulize the coding, and they have teammates working on massaging the code into a single repository. They’ve completed one of the modules, and they’re almost done with the programming on the second one.

We do code reviews internally because the Rushkar Technology Private Limited team will turn over the product for our developers to make last-minute adjustments and implement them. After the product is finished, we’ll engage Rushkar Technology Private Limited to add more features and functionalities down the road, working in the vein of ground-up design, UX guidance, and coding.

This project is a huge step out of our comfort zone, and we’ve been very conservative with the budget, keeping almost everything in-house. For this reason, we first tried them out piecemeal, and we’ve engaged them with the full boat because we’re so pleased with their work

They’ve performed phenomenally well in terms of project management. Initially, they quoted a static project and estimated a timeline. However, as we’ve continued to develop the software, everything has been a moving target. A computer vision and 3D software company. We do volumetric capture, where we primarily focus on turning humans in motion into 3D objects for use in VR, AR, and even conventional video.

e’d built a pipeline that manages all of our computer vision applications, and we initially engaged Merixstudio to take that pipeline and turn it into something that could run in the cloud. They built a web interface on top of it so that clients can log in, manage their renders and output, and preview data. The scope of their services was focused primarily on building a web application that could sit on top of and control all of the hard computer vision stuff that we do as a company internally.

The web app is built on Python and Django, as well as React and Angular. We use Redis, and it all runs on AWS.

The work that they did enables us to run a 3D rendering pipeline that completes work within an hour or two, whereas it would take days on a single computer. That’s the nature of running the pipeline on hundreds of computers in the cloud versus a single computer locally.

Given the amount of projects I’ve done with Rushkar Technology Private Limited over the years, I’ve used them for project management, giving them projects and letting them execute. Their project managers have always been very thorough and communicative.

Rushkar Technology Private Limited had a high quality of engineering and design talent that they could deploy quickly. They have very reasonable rates, and the team is direct and easy to communicate with. 

I’ve found that with some offshore companies, you need to tell them exactly what to do, whereas Rushkar Technology Private Limited has creative thinkers. They help us think through things and contribute to what the best approach is. That balance of being able to execute but then also contribute to the technical direction of what they’re working on has been helpful.

As of today we work under Agile Methodologies with daily stand-up meetings and by weekly sprint rituals. The Project Manager is a great asset to my roll as Product Owner in managing these rituals. We use Slack, Email, and the full Microsoft suite for communication.
