Please describe your company and your position there.

I'm the CEO and Director of Kartoffel Technologies. We are an IT consultancy company with an extensive digital marketing service. Apart from it, we have a few products under Kartoffel Technologies.

For what projects/services did your company hire Red Ant Media LLP, and what were your goals?

Our association with Red Ant Media has been since 2018. RAM developed Kartoffel the following systems:

1. Food delivery website, mobile application and delivery tracking system with a backend system
2. Website for our Salad brand
3. ERP system for a client of Kartoffel.

SOLUTION

How did you select Red Ant Media LLP and what were the deciding factors?

RAM came to us through a friend's referral. Our team checked a few of their earlier works. Based on their earlier works we decided to go ahead with RAM.

Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.

RAM designed and developed the android, iOS mobile applications and the backend system for the food delivery application. RAM gave us the flow and UI screen designs before the Alpha build of the system.

Upon approval by our team, RAM started the development of the system. We had multiple review sessions to check the development at regular intervals. The overall project was completed in 20 business days.

Post which our team tested and the systems were deployed. Technologies used for the project was Java with Android Studio for Android, Xcode for iOS, php for Backend.

How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

Predominantly there were 5 members who worked with us from the project management and development team. There were other members as well, who worked with us wherever required.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

Our product was launched on time and we could move to an app-based ordering from taking orders on phone calls. Post-deployment RAM team provided with maintenance and support for 3 months.

The project management has been good from RAM. They meet their deadlines and make sure the timelines are met.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Before the start of the project, the team had an extensive KT session. This helped us have better understanding of the system we are building and add certain important features from customer point of view.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

RAM team is swift after signing up, but the initial sign up process has multiple iterations before the project kicks off. If the team can simplify the process it would help.
