My main company is Kadena Properties, a company offering real estate consulting, development, and selling. We also have a sister company called Viva. I'm the operations director at Kadena Properties, as well as the director of Viva.

What challenge were you trying to address with Qwertify?

We needed to develop a mobile app for facility management for Viva. We wanted to allow apartment owners to communicate with facility managers, and we were aiming this app at new projects and new buildings.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Qwertify is working with us to help us develop a mobile app for Viva. Initially, we gathered all the requirements for the app, covering all aspects of the features needed for owners, building managers, and investors. After defining the requirements, Qwertify started developing all the app features. This app is being developed for both iOS and Android devices.

What is the team composition?

We've worked with three teammates from Qwertify, including the owner, a dedicated project manager, and a lead developer. However, I believe that other developers are working on the project, but we don't communicate directly with them.

How did you come to work with Qwertify?

We found them through a referral.

How much have you invested with them?

We've spent around €60,000 (approximately $65,000 USD).

What is the status of this engagement?

We had our first meeting with Qwertify in November 2023 to share our ideas. The actual development work started in January 2024, and the engagement is ongoing. We're just finishing the project, and the app will be live by the end of this month.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Although the app is not live yet, we already have clients. Two main projects in Belgrade will start using our solution by the end of summer 2024. After that, we'll expand our solution to new projects. However, the expansion depends on these new projects because they're still under construction. Once these projects are finished and residents start moving in, they'll start using our app. For the first phase of this project launch, around 5,000 apartments will start using our app.

As for qualitative feedback, Qwertify's work quality is very good. During the testing period, we didn't find a lot of issues. We were concerned about potential challenges, but everything was working perfectly fine from the beginning.

How did Qwertify perform from a project management standpoint?

Qwertify has delivered on time and on budget, which is very important to us. Their team has met all our requirements from the beginning. We have regular catch-up in-person meetings every two weeks to go through all the stages of the development process. Everything has been well-organized, so we're very satisfied. In addition to our meetings, we also have regular email communication.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Qwertify has been amazing, very efficient, and very dedicated. We're very satisfied with them for facilitating this kind of collaboration. In fact, we're planning to do a few more projects with them once this one is finished.

Still, their most impressive skill is their deadline and budget compliance. The developer is very prompt to work and always finishes tasks on time. The project manager coordinates communication with us very well, so the process has been perfect. We've been very surprised with them because it's very difficult to find someone to work with who can meet all our requirements.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I can't think of anything Qwertify could improve on. In fact, they've improved us and our requirements. Throughout the project, they've found things that are missing that can be improved, and they've gave their opinion and suggestions.

Do you have any advice for future clients of theirs?

I recommend working with them. In fact, We've already referred them to another company, and they'll start working together in a few months.

I’m the CEO and founder of an online streaming platform.

What challenge were you trying to address with Qwertify?

We needed Qwertify for a mobile app development project. 

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Qwetify has done everything from UI/UX design to product description and delivery. The team built the app to be available for both iOS and Android. We collaborated during the entire process, and the design stage took a lot of back and forth until we got the final product. The key technologies we used included Figma and InVision. 

At present, we’ve finished building the app. For features and functionality, the product is an educational app with subscription and pay-per-view video courses around football by top athletes. We have 17 players, and our team has developed 10 lessons from each player. Users can also challenge their friends and win rewards while using the app.

What is the team composition?

We work with around nine teammates from Qwertify, including their founder and Nadja (Product Lead).

I found Qwertify through a recommendation.

How much have you invested with them?

We’ve invested around €150,000 (approximately $158,000 USD). 

What is the status of this engagement?

The engagement started in April 2022, and it’s ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

The app is now available in its test-flight version. Everything is working based on the tests we’ve done; we haven’t had any issues with the app. Overall, we’re happy with Qwertify’s work quality. 

How did Qwertify perform from a project management standpoint?

Everything has been great, including the budget. Moreover, the team sometimes works faster than estimated. Our project truly appeals to them, so they’re putting much effort into it. To communicate, we use phones, emails, WhatsApp, and Slack. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

Qwertify takes initiative. They offer suggestions and ideas for the app’s design and functionality. My team has come up with many ideas for our vision, and the Qwertify team knows how to adjust our ideas and make them functional. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

We’ve had some communication issues recently since we’re located in different places, but we’ve worked around them. Additionally, we’ve had problems with a previous project manager, but it’s no longer relevant since that manager no longer works on the project.  

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Listen to Qwertify because they’re experienced — they know what they’re doing. Listen to their ideas and suggestions. Don’t just have a plan in your head and ask them to deliver it. It’s always better to collaborate with them.

We wanted to create a platform and needed help designing our platform’s UI/UX. 

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Qwertify designed our platform’s UI/UX using Sketch. This project was solely based on UI/UX design, which was the basis for the further development process. We discussed our project’s needs, and Qwertify helped us streamline and align the UI/UX to our user personas.

How did you come to work with Qwertify?

I’ve known Nikola for some time, and we have invested in other companies together. I was also familiar with Qwertify’s work and knew they could be a potential service provider for this project. I had a personal meeting with Nikola since we’re both located in Belgrade, and it was clear to me that Qwertify was the right company because of their UI/UX design experience. 

I was also looking to work the UI/UX design and the development phases with the same company, and Qwertify was the only vendor that could provide that out of the three companies we interviewed.

We worked with Qwertify from March–April 2023. We’re planning to work with them on the further development of our platform, but we haven’t started that project yet.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

We discussed our needs in detail, and Qwertify met them entirely. Qwertify performed different iterations and adapted the product’s design to match our users’ feedback. Qwertify offered good solutions, and we’re satisfied with their work. 

Our collaborative process and ongoing discussions resulted in the perfect basis for the rest of our platform’s development, which was the project’s main purpose. 

How did Qwertify perform from a project management standpoint?

Qwertify stayed on the budget since it was a predefined budget. They also met deadlines and worked efficiently, and we were the ones that delayed feedback at times. Qwertify often delivered work ahead of schedule, and we were completely satisfied. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

I was most impressed with Qwertify’s team experience. Nikola is an entrepreneur and understands the needs of a young company — he isn’t a classical developer. On the other hand, Nadja is one of the best UI/UX designers I’ve worked with. 

I also liked that we could meet personally with Qwertify. Our project wouldn’t have been as efficient if we had met on virtual calls. The project was completed in a couple of months, and Qwertify met my initial timeline. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

I wouldn’t improve anything. We were completely satisfied with Qwertify’s work and results.  

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

I definitely recommend working with Qwertify. My business recommendation is to ensure that your team has sufficient time to comment on Qwertify’s work and deliverables. I also recommend not commenting on the spot and taking 1–2 days to discuss the work with your team before providing feedback. We found this approach to be very efficient.

We were planning the development of our mobile application and webpage and had many questions about our target audience. We also had a project based on Harry Potter in shopping malls and needed to build the app for it.

Qwertify has solved our question about development and provided us with ideas on how to create our app and improve the website. They’re currently in charge of implementing and maintaining them. The website is based in Python and JavaScript, and Qwertify is working on a new application based on React.

One of the most important metrics for us is how fast they are. If we request anything, Qwertify can log in immediately and provide a solution within minutes. Moreover, they always provide us with ideas and get really involved.

How did Qwertify perform from a project management standpoint?

They’ve assigned a project manager, and we have weekly calls. We communicate through emails and a WhatsApp group, and they use ClickUp for project management.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They’re really fast, and their contributions are always up to our expectations.

Are there any areas they could improve?

Our email communications aren’t very effective. We sometimes have to remind them about things we sent them, but that’s the only thing.

I’m the founder and CEO of CarGo, a local transportation, ride-sharing, and food delivery platform in Serbia.

What challenge were you trying to address with Qwertify?

In addition to CarGo, I’m also the founder of a few other startups, and I’m continuously working on new ideas. Therefore, I always need a technical team by my side to develop my ideas; Qwertify is that development team.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

I’ve worked with Qwertify’s team for over five years on different development projects. Whenever I face a big software development challenge or want to develop a new product, I give them a call and consult with them. They’re basically a one-stop shop for my technical needs.

For every project, I usually come up with an idea and lay out what I want. Then, I present my idea to Qwertify in a clear manner, detailing how the end product should look. Then, they design and present the solution, we make some changes if needed, and they start the development process until completion.

For example, we had an issue with our CarGo platform we couldn’t solve. We weren’t able to match the GPS precision location of the passenger and the driver in real time, so we called Qwertify, and they solved it within a week. To solve this problem, they developed a custom map plug-in that enabled our service to work seamlessly.

In addition to that, Qwertify has improved the food delivery side of our platform by helping us solve an issue we had with finding the right entrance to buildings. Currently, we’re working with them on a pilot project to leverage AR so that couriers can see the delivery space and follow the navigation route using AR for the last mile. This way, they won’t need to worry about addresses anymore.

In addition to the development projects for CarGo, Qwertify has developed a photo-sharing app from scratch for a company in which I’m a co-founder. On this app, users can select photos from their phone and Instagram to create albums, which then get delivered to their door. This app works in five different countries. Moreover, we’re currently working on a booking platform. However, I can’t share details because we’re still in the early stages.

As for the technologies used, Qwertify has helped us build native apps for iOS and Android using React Native. They’ve also helped us with web development projects using React. Additionally, they handle HTML and PHP very well.

What is the team composition?

We usually work with 3–4 developers and a designer from Qwertify.

How did you come to work with Qwertify?

I’ve known Qwertify’s core team for over five years. Back then, they operated under a different name, so I’ve seen their team grow and change over the years. In 2015, I founded my startup, and we tried to work on our development challenges internally for over a year. Then, I met them, and we started working together as friends to solve some of the challenges my app had. Eventually, we became business partners; we’ve kept working together on and off ever since.

How much have you invested with them?

We’ve spent around $100,000 on the CarGo project alone.

What is the status of this engagement?

We’ve been working together since early 2017. In 2021, I grew our internal team at CarGo, so we’ve been working with Qwertify less actively on that project. However, we’re about to enter a big new project in January 2023, so we’re looking forward to it.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

Throughout our engagement, my CarGo app has grown up to 1.3 million registered users, and we’ve completed over 10 million transactions. As for our photo-sharing app, we’ve had over 1 million transactions in the past 3–4 years. It has been widely successful.

Moreover, the AR delivery project will solve the problem that most delivery services currently have — where to park their vehicles and how to reach the final destination in the shortest period of time.

How did Qwertify perform from a project management standpoint?

Qwertify is very diligent in project management. We have an ongoing friendly argument because I’m always looking for shorter deadlines and more deliverables, and they’re really good at pushing back and managing expectations. Thus far, they’ve never overestimated a delivery, which is great. We use Slack, Jira, and WhatsApp to collaborate.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Qwertify is one of the best React Native development companies in the region; they really know their stuff. Their team always delivers high-quality pieces of software, and they’ve never let me down; what we agree on usually looks, feels, and works as expected. Additionally, they’re great at developing software for referral programs.

I’ve been running software companies for 15 years, and the developers usually justify not meeting expectations by saying that something that’s missing wasn’t asked for. However, I’ve never had that situation with Qwertify — that’s why I keep coming back to them.

Are there any areas they could improve?

Qwertify is a great IT outsourcing company, which means that they have the prices of a great IT outsourcing company. Although I don’t enjoy the high prices, those are both good and bad. On the one hand, Qwertify has been scaling their business, which has contributed to the rise of their prices. On the other hand, these prices will allow them to hire more senior programmers.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Be open, clear, and straightforward regarding your needs. Qwertify understands well the technological and market challenges. Thus, as long as you explain clearly your end goal, they’ll be able to provide you with accurate estimations for the timeline and budget.

I’m the CMO of Yolo Technology | YoloBook, a photo printing company. We have an application where users can create photo books. Then, we manufacture them and send them to the customers.

We hired them as our outsourced IT department.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Qwertify provides us with an outsourced CTO and a team of developers. First, I provided them with the requirements of how we wanted the products to look; each part of our company created their requirements and forwarded them. Currently, Qwertify is responsible for everything to do with programming. 

They've built our Android and iOS mobile applications, CRM backend system, and website. The team has also developed a dashboard that helps us track our production and delivery processes. They use technologies like PHP for the CRM, Swift for iOS development, and WordPress for the website. The mobile applications enable customers to order our product. Qwertify regularly updates the apps every two weeks.

Our mobile apps have a 95% success rate, about 1.5 million downloads, and 800,000 registered users. Qwertify fixes bugs quickly when they happen. Therefore, they offer very good support. Meanwhile, the CRM system does a very good job tracking our processes. Our website functions as a presentation, so we don't follow its traffic. 

How did Qwertify perform from a project management standpoint?

Their project management is very good. Our offices are in the same building, so we have in-person meetings twice a week. Our communication with Qwertify is great. We have a WhatsApp group for daily communication, ClickUp to track development, and email for formal messages. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

I appreciate that our CTO from Qwertify is passionate, always giving our project his best effort, and his team follows that. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

Although there's always something they could do better, Qwertify's process is always changing due to third parties. Third parties will make changes that affect the integrations, so many errors aren't their fault. When bugs happen, the team fixes them fast. Still, I'd like it if they could prevent problems before they happen, though I'm unsure if that's possible without us paying more.

I recommend Qwertify all the time because they do a good job. They've created many good applications and keep in touch with their customers. Moreover, the owner is a great person; he's passionate and makes a connection with his clients.

What was the scope of their involvement?

We provided them with insight and guidance into what we were looking for, and the product was built from scratch. The application has a unique search feature to filter for language, nationality, and gender preferences. There is also a chat function with an in-app translator and a map function to find users locally or worldwide. The app was built native for iOS and Android, and Google API was one of the key technologies. 

Qwertify also built our website from scratch. They are currently working on new product development to build a new version of the application.

With Qwertify’s updates to our product, we have increased our customer retention rate and grown globally. 

How did Qwertify perform from a project management standpoint?

We believe the delivery of projects could happen in a more timely manner; the timeline for deliverables does tend to get extended at times. However, the CTO has made himself very available to us and is willing to connect and speak with us outside of normal working hours; he is also very technically sound. Our project manager is very dedicated to trying her absolute best to make things work as well as possible.  

We communicate via email, phone calls, Slack, Zoom, and Google Meet. We primarily use ClickUp for project management. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

We’ve developed personal relationships and good chemistry with their team to build a good product together that has had a lot of traction and growth. Qwertify has a cohesive team that enjoys working together. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

We wish they had a product expert they could assign to projects to analyze and give feedback on the product roadmap and what’s being implemented. We struggle with product expertise and wish they had a UX/UI product person to consult with their clients. We also wish they had better documentation in relation to the product. 

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Know exactly what you want to build, and having your product questions answered will help Qwertify produce a better job in development and execution. You should go in thinking that anything can be built; you just need to have good direction. You should also ensure that the team understands the vision and can execute it in the timeline agreed upon.

I’m the CEO of an IT development and consulting company; we mainly develop mobile apps. I handle technical tasks locally and project management for our clients.

We hired them for turnkey mobile app development.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

For the past three years, Qwertify has provided turnkey mobile app development services for our clients. They’ve helped us with specifications, UI/UX design, development, server administration, and server maintenance. Usually, our end clients come to us with a specification or idea, and we go back and forth with Qwertify to determine a fixed price and delivery time. 

Most of our apps are native, so the team uses Swift for iOS, Java for Android, and PHP and Laravel for the backend. Sometimes they use React Native or Flutter due to the client’s budget. They’ve used Figma, Adobe software, and other programs and platforms for design. So far, Qwertify has helped us with 10 projects.

One of the projects they’ve developed is a gig economy app for iOS and Android. On the app, buyers can put up an ad for a job they need to have done and their budget. Then, doers who want to earn extra money can show their interest in the job. The system sends a request to the buyer, and once they pay the ad fee, they can see who wants the job.

The system has many other features. For example, doers can bid to get more chances to do the job, and the buyer has to pay 10% of the bid amount. The system can also raise buyers and doers in the system. Qwertify put a couple of thousand hours into the app’s development.

Another project they’ve developed is a social media app for European truckers. In it, users can chat and put out good restaurants and service stations they find along the roads. Truckers can also make routes and get GPS guidance depending on the size of their vehicle. Qwertify also provided about 2,000 hours of development time for this app.

When we start a project, we usually work with Nikola (CEO & Founder) and one developer or design group. Going further in the projects, I connect with a project manager and key developers from Qwertify. 

How did you come to work with Qwertify?

I was working with another company, and some of their employees went to Qwertify; that’s how I met Nikola. Initially, we gave them a small project, which went well, so we decided to continue our cooperation and got more focused on Qwertify and less on the other company.

We’ve spent between $100,000–$500,000. They work on an hourly basis and charge around $50 per hour. 

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working with them around January 2019, and the engagement is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

The apps Qwertify has developed function as intended. The gig economy app is in its beta version and has a couple hundred downloads. Other apps have had several thousands of downloads. Nikola’s involvement in the projects gives us good credibility with our clients in handling the projects. 

How did Qwertify perform from a project management standpoint?

Their project management has developed over time, and now they have a very professional approach. One of their project managers has worked with many companies and is used to managing projects with over 20 people involved. 

Although there are always project delays, when Qwertify sees that we’re slipping behind, they work on weekends and evenings at no extra cost to us. We mostly use Slack for communication. To connect with our end clients, we use Google Meet or Microsoft Teams because we can share our screens.

Our partners need to have the whole scale of development services because we offer turnkey solutions to our end clients. Qwertify offers the whole chain from start to finish and up to continued hosting and maintenance, which makes life easy for us.

If anything, they could be ahead of schedule so there can be time to make more changes that end clients want.

It works, its fast, and with modern design but still recognised with old brand. Communication was the key, although it took them few months to understand every detail of our very complex business model and interactions with clients and candidates, After that it went very smoothly and professionally.
