OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

What challenge were you trying to address with Plugg Technologies?

We brought Plugg Technologies on board for a six-month staffing project to support our growth. Our goal was to add two LATAM-based team members: one in operations and one on the technical side. We needed help building out the processes and technical infrastructure to serve our customers better.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Plugg Technologies handled the full staffing process for a six-month engagement. They sourced, vetted, and placed two LATAM-based team members with us: an operations hire and a technical hire. Once they were onboarded, Plugg Technologies stayed involved with hands-on project management to keep the work on track. Our operations hire helped us build and document the processes we needed to scale, and our technical hire helped build out the infrastructure we use to serve our customers. Together, they gave us the capacity to keep up with our growth without slowing down service.

What is the team composition?

We worked with 2–5 teammates from Plugg Technologies.

How did you come to work with Plugg Technologies?

Someone referred Plugg Technologies to me. I chose them over other options because they were close to my geographic location, their pricing fit our budget, they were a great culture fit, and they offered good value for the cost.

How much have you invested with them?

We spent around $50,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We worked together between April–October 2025.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Both hires were placed and productive quickly, and they stayed through the full six-month engagement. Our operations hire documented and streamlined several of our core processes, which made day-to-day work noticeably faster and more consistent. Our technical hire built out key infrastructure that let us handle more customers without adding headcount on our side. Overall, the extra capacity helped us keep pace with our growth during a critical period. We didn’t track formal metrics, but our rough estimate is that productivity went up by around 30%, and processes ran about 30% faster after these hires. Work that used to depend on a few people was documented and repeatable, and the infrastructure our technical hire built meant we could take on more customers without stretching our team.

How did Plugg Technologies perform from a project management standpoint?

Plugg Technologies’ project management was excellent and very hands-on. Since both hires were based in LATAM, we had strong timezone overlap and could work together in real-time throughout the day, which made communication easy. Plugg Technologies stayed closely involved for the full engagement, checking in regularly and making sure priorities were clear. Everything was delivered on time across the six-month project.

What did you find most impressive about them?

What stood out most was how involved Plugg Technologies stayed after the placements. A lot of staffing firms hand you candidates and step back, but Plugg Technologies stayed hands-on with project management the whole way through. The LATAM model was also a real advantage. We got talented people working in nearly the same hours as us, so collaboration felt like working with an in-house team rather than an offshore one.

Are there any areas they could improve?

There was a short ramp-up period while the new hires learned our systems, which is expected with any new team member, but Plugg Technologies’ project management kept things moving, and the engagement met our expectations.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

I don’t think there’s anything they can do better. The engagement went smoothly from start to finish, and they delivered what we needed.
