For what projects/services did your company hire Ekta Corporation, and what were your goals?

POS System for instore sale and purchase management of our stores. To optimise store operations and my staff can process things such as day to say sales reports, inventory management, recurring customers, loyalty programs, etc

How did you select Ekta Corporation and what were the deciding factors?

Came in contact through one of my friend, and saw their portfolio along with their live projects they have completed. I need easy approach team whole can work as per my team requirements

Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.

First I told them about our business and there was already a running POS in our store but was not fast and efficient. They took a look at our store inventory and running of current POS system and showed us how the running system is outdated and how we can get an cloud base POS which can be operated anywhere.

They recommended us using PHP language with WordPress so that in future it will be easy for us to maintain and develop further as per our requirement. No doubt there were plenty of on selves POS available in market but they all run on sharing basis they show and how the data they collect from us.

While in this POS my data stays on my server and works way more fast then all other POS systems.

How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

We remember working with 5-6 persons including Jai as their leader which handles our communications and implementations.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

To be frank will say 90% we got nice out come because we have missed couple of things in mentioning them earlier so those features aren't included.

Their delivery timing is good but their payment terms are strict, if they say to generate payment by next week for sure they will, and yeah we had issues in processing payment but they are ready to coupe up with you if you want to make adjustment.

They are a small company so they don't do show off like others in the chat process and lengthy emails.

They kept communication very simple, day to day via WhatsApp, and a brief call at the end of week about what's project status and what are the next steps they will be taking and what things they will required from us.

Big files exchanges were done via mails and small via WhatsApp Group of their team and my team.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Jai had did timely visit our store and ask staff what problem are they facing in operating POS software, and more then that they try to solve that issue in my store when they visit but also give nice training for software operations to cashiers and store manager.

All this was done by founder of company that was quite unique or else have seen in other companies boss doesn't care to visit client site once project is in. Even their team calls our store manager about are they facing any issues or everything is working smoothly or any issues.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Yeah one thing, instead of giving only required options they can give all the options they can provide no matter the cost it makes client easy to understand project cost upon adding features.

I am the Founder/CEO of the company, and we were already in the supply of fruits and vegetables all over Gujarat on a wholesale rates.

Due to pandemic we need a stable cloud system to smooth our process for ordering and collection of payment along with recurring vendors dashboard for them to order via credit system.

Ekta Corporation worked on creating a web base software for our online B2B selling and a software management at backend where we and our vendors will have dashboard from which order are well generated and processed accordingly.

They have already created a custom design of our website and software as per our need and they have created logo from the scratch as old one was not looking much good.

What were your goals for this project?

We wanted to have vendors dashboard to sell them on credits and can keep records of our sales and purchases all under one system so our finance management can be done smoothly.

How did you select Ekta Corporation?

Ekta Corporation was referred to be by one of my friends based in USA, and more then that our business and their business were in the same city so that allowed us to meet and discuss and take things further nicely.

Describe the project in detail.

First we gave them an idea of what we want and asked them is it possible? They come up with a different scenario than our idea but in a brilliant manner for what we are looking for, along with more than that.

We were just looking to e-com web portal, but they told us to expand to B2B with credit line so we can keep our customers reach in pandemic crisis, while we can bear credits but our vendors don't have enough cash inflow so they need good on credits but there was no way to keep those online.

They came with a terrific solution to provide credits to vendors, sells B2B online, different rates for walk-in customers and our register vendors, bulk rates auto applies after verified vendor profiles, all goes automation. This saved our manhour and the staff shortage we were facing in pandemic solved right away with minimum staff operational.

For logo we had logo earlier but for not so modern and minimalist, they took old fonts from our logo and made them a new one in a modern style. Awesome work on logo and symbol.

What was the team composition?

After discussion with Jai, we came across 1 graphics designer from their team gave us lot of samples of banners and buttons and layout of website and many more things in visuals. 2 more team members were handling software features we want and do changes as per our need, no matter it's header style of footer ratio.

We got all that we wanted, sometimes even more. 1 more person was constantly sending our QA reports on weekly basis for the testing of our portal on cross devices and cross browsers. So you can say 4-5 persons were involved.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

From doing all sales management manually now we are at 100% digital system where we don't have to worry for the records to be maintained as system does it for all.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

As like all the companies we are 2 different business so at the start there were some hiccups in explaining our requirement and making them understand, but there your go as soon as they came to know our taste there was barely any revision after we have completed mock-up of web design, and more than that they always provide us 2 options of visuals to choose from 1 of our choice and 1 of theirs.

Honestly speaking our team is more than 10 in decision making but out of 100, I would say nearby 82 we went on their visuals as those were better than what we wanted.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

SOLUTIONS You name it, that you want this or that solution for your company, they will not only provide a solution but will give one upper hand and one lower hand options. Like 1 our solution and 2 more so in this case to reduce the cost we can select lower hand but in case cost is not effecting and we are getting much benefits then we can go with upper hand. They don't just copy-paste and tell it's done, they think out of the box.

Are there any areas for improvement?

Yeah I want them to start IOT and Blockchain project as soon people are going to need those and for sure this guys will beat others like hell. For sure their rates are higher, but the quality they deliver is way better then any developer I have met in Gujarat.

I had them design a WordPress website for me.

What was the scope of their involvement?

For the project, the team created graphics, posted photos and my bio, and worked on everything that dealt with my brand, including a logo. They created a portal for my brand collateral in order to represent me online.

They also worked with social media marketing and SEO. They use particular keywords that match up with my brand to improve online visibility for me. A store component to the website for my merchandise is currently in the works.

What is the team composition?

I’ve worked with about 3–4 people. Each person would help with updating the website, recreating the designs and graphics, and working with video content. Everyone communicates with me about what’s going on with the site.

How much have you invested with them?

We’ve spent around $700–$800.

What is the status of this engagement?

I’ve been working with them for about four years now.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

They went above and beyond. They always hit deadlines. I’ve referred them to others as well because they do such an amazing job. I can’t see myself going anywhere else.

Now, we’re starting a few marketing campaigns to track metrics. My fans love the site, commenting on how it looks and how it’s easy to use.

How did Ekta Corporation perform from a project management standpoint?

They excelled at project management. Any time I need them, they communicate very well. They’re accessible through phone and emails. I can always reach them.

What did you find most impressive about them?

The overall work is very impressive. Their team built many aspects on my site for my fans, including my videos, music, and podcasts. It’s clear to anyone who looks on the site what I do.

Are there any areas they could improve?

To be honest, there’s nothing they need to improve. I haven’t had any complaints, and if I did, I wouldn’t be working with them as long as I have.

Know exactly what you want and how you want it done. Explain clearly and be prepared to work with their professional team.
