I am the Quality Manager of a Education Company in Vietnam.

For what projects/services did your company hire Ohio Digital, and what were your goals?

We come to Ohio Digital to develop a interactive platform that can help kids to create their own stories, podcasts, presentations, etc. And, to help teachers to manage their activities, review and feedback. Generally, our goal is to have a platform that can effectively benefit both for students and teachers.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We searched online for app developers in Vietnam and find them. We decided to work with them after reviewing their successful projects, cost and solution estimate. Their customer care is great.

At first, their Account Executive provided me with some consultancies, with around 2-3 meetings to discuss our goals and visions. Then, our team set several meeting with their designers and developers team along the process as well as contact via messages and emails to work along.

After a month, they gave us the wireframes and designs. The process of developing the app was quick and easy also. They provide us with appropriate technologies such as Swift, Xcode, Cocoapod, etc. We ran through beta launching as well.

Their Account Executive was our main point of contact at first. Then, we worked and interacted with 3 UI/UX designers and 3 developers.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

After 6 months of launching our app, we saw 10,000+ downloads and achieved 4.8-star-rating. We've seen great traffic and feedback from our app user on the interface as well as experience. We've seen nearly no errors when operating the app.

The Account Executive was professional and friendly. She provide me with frequent updates and all necessary information. Also, their designer and developer teams communicated quickly and effectively.

They gave us useful advice also. We had online meeting, phone calls, texting, emails, etc. Everything was delivered on time and effectively. Sometimes they complete things even before deadline.

Their team was professional, efficient, enthusiastic, and a joy to collaborate with. 

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

They have done a great job for us. If possible, they should make detailed stage report for better follow.

Within 3 months after our app was launched, we saw over 2.000 downloads and archieved a 5-star rating in app stores. We've seen a tremendous boost in traffic since launching the app.

The Project Manager was easy to communicate with and provided frequent updates. We communicated over phone and video chat. Whenener we had a question, they would email us back within an hour.

I appreciated that they took the time to understand our industry. Moreover, they knew everything about UI/UX and execution.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Status reports on each stage of the project could have been helpful so that we could limit any misunderstandings.

We have a meeting at the start to discuss our goal, then they conduct an intensive research, gathering industry reviews and information for us. After further considerations, they started to create the wireframe. We worked closely along the way and they handled all the comments quickly. All the works have been done after 2 months.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We've tested it with our partners and clients, and we've pleased with the outcome with many positive feedbacks from them. The traffic and session time increased also.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Their team work so effective that they handle all our comments quickly along the work flow, and their project manager was easy to communicate with, she updates and provide us significant advices. Everything was delivered on time. They inform us in case of any delays.

Their design was modern, reflect our brand and services so well. Also, their customer care was great.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

It would be great that they provide a more detailed report for us. But it's ok because we got all the things along the work flow.
