Our website was created 2 years ago by myself and I wanted to hire a professional who could take what we already had and take it to the next level. Our goal was to design our website into something more modern and sleek, on top of adding new features like booking amongst many other things.

We searched up web developers that might be best for what we needed from our site and chose Nova Luna amongst 4 others. Even though they were the most expensive vendor out of the 5 we were deciding upon, we went with them because they stood out more than the other companies with their opinions on our site as well as suggestions into which direction we could be heading with our site.My vision for my site was clear, but not organized and nova Luna helped me get a much clearer perspective on where I wanted my business to be in the next few years just based off how our website would look and work for us

I needed to discuss our project multiple times over and Jared and his team were very supportive and precise every time. They were also accommodating to the few times I needed to change some information about our services because our business was in a fast of fast and constant development.

They showed me how to make use of an advanced software to track the tasks I needed done to my website and put in specific information I needed them to use for the site (rather than them taking notes this method ensured that all the information was delivered smoothly without any error but my own) I’ll be using this software with my own company moving forward.

My project was finished by two individuals, one being Jared (who I booked with) who manages the website projects and another member of his team who assisted me with many of the updates and development to the website

The website came out many times better than I originally pictured with the outcome being something much more evolved than my original plans. The whole Nova Luna team went above and beyond with this project, in my opinion it was better than the examples of the sites they did before. I was absolutely in awe at the fantastic output of information and simplicity that our new website gives off as that’s exactly what captures the attention of our audience. The presentation is beautiful and the new features work great

The team project management was great, we locked in all the details of the website with a separate software that tracked its progress on both ends. The whole projected lasted about 4 months due to us using a payment plan method and also changing many things along the way of the project. The team did work fast and delivered the updates quickly finishing large tasks within days or even hours upon assignment

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

They gave us more than just a website update. They opened doors for our business and gave us a new level of confidence moving forward

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

When we recieved the final rough draft for the website there were a few tiny bugs that we noted out to them and they corrected quickly.

After reviewing the initial website that was made by myself, Nova Luna changed the format of the website to where it’s easier for customers to access and read content. Photos were also updated along with a review page. These guys also linked social accounts to the website and made a page to where customers can pay from the website.

In total there was 2. The CEO and Maitraya the tech expert whom were both very helpful.

Customers are able to view the website a lot easier and site traffic increased.

I was amazed at how much they’ve improved the website from the initial design that I did. They’ve included so much more to the frontend of the website that I didn’t think was possible.

Nova Luna developed a website for the business. Our goals were to provide a way for clients to understand our services and to have an easy way to book sessions and purchase packages.

I selected this vender off the WIx website. Nova Luna contacted me by phone. They did an excellent job listening to the needs of the company and then coming up with solutions.

They created an entire new website that was modern and up to date with today’s technology. The graphics were outstanding. They took a complex set of goals and broke them down into easy to understand and easy to navigate services and packages.

This was a two man operation: father and son. They work like a well oiled machine. Jared is the quarterback and his son, is his extremely talented receiver. They work together like Joe and Jerry on the 49ers football team. Touchdown after touchdown, that’s Nova Luna.

Nova Luna went beyond my expectations. I am also impressed with the level of communication they maintain with their clients. I can book a thirty minute call anytime I have questions or need assistance. They are happy to help.

Management style is comfortable. There was no stress when I felt lost or was fearful of taking on such a big project. Jared has a calming voice and both are very patient. The team would bounce ideas off one another and come up with solutions. They are also very kind and respectful towards one another. The creative flow was natural between them.

The timeline was as promised. Jared stated the project would take three months. They worked with me during the duration of the project and made sure the site was pleasing to me and met the needs of the business. They willingly made changes when I requested. Wish all businesses conducted themselves in this manner.

1. The father and son teamwork.
2. Their level of knowledge and how to implement that knowledge
3. Their intelligence and problem-solving skills.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

I’m very happy with this team and what they have created. I also respect their professionalism. One day they missed a scheduled zoom call. The following day, Jared contacted me and apologized for missing the call. They had a pet emergency and had to take care of their animal immediately. I appreciated his honesty and the fact that he called me the following day. That’s how you build relationships and build a business.

We looked for web designers in our area using upwork. After reviewing 5 proposal we chose this vendor because of their affordable price, industry experience and personable team

After a series of discovery meetings to discuss our goals, we received 3 initial designs for the main page on site. Once we chose a theme , they finalized the design and provided feedback through inVision. This allows us to show them how we wanted the rest of the site to look. The vendor came back to us with designs for our other pages, including an update “contact us” form.

In total, we worked with 4 people including a project manager, two designers, and a QA recourse during the final phase.

I contracted with Nove Luna to build a photography website that is clean looking, classic, and easy to navigate.  This included Galleries with collections of images with introductory text,  a bio section and blog section.  I created the images and the text.  Nova Luna created the look and navigation points.  I wanted to be able to manage the site myself after launch, to add text, galleries, images, and bogs.

Feedback from viewers that received the email blast about the launch was very positive, noting the site's classy, professional look and ease of navigation.  the site is a positive and professional presentation of my photographic work.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

They had experience with artists' websites.  They listened.  They were calm and reassuring as the project went along.  They could make changes on the fly during our zoom phone calls.  It was clear what my responsibility was and what theirs was.  The contract was clear.  The same person handled my project all the way through, with backup and input always available from other members of Nova Luna's organization.  

I felt respected and deserving of proper attention despite my project's relative smallness.  We liked each other.  I indicated I wanted to be able to manage my site once the contract ended.  I received the training I wanted and needed to do that.  The training was clear and I was given all the time I needed.

Are there any areas for improvement or something Nova Luna could have done differently?

Make sure both parties have clarity early in the process as to where the website development part of zoom meetings ends and website management training begins, training that requires additional contract time and cost.  I did sign on for an hour of training; it went quite well and I'm happy with it.
