I found them via Upwork, I have had horrible developers in the past until I found Narola, they pitched for the project and I did a thorough review and checks on previous work done and found that they were the best!

We had initial meeting and communication via email on what is required for the project. After a week of this they were ready to start - in between the projects I would have additional features that would require the project to be extended but they were very quick.

Within a month or 2 we had our first APK to test out and after the 2nd month of adding dither features, integrating with AWS, Firebase and others we had the app on the Google Play store and also an admin access via websites to manage user data, brands and meme templates.

Within a month of launch we already had over 10 thousand users within the app and generating money via Google ads. Traffic within the app was good with about 12k memes created a month and over 100k meme downloads and shares monthly.

Communication was very seamless! For simple stuff we use email and Skype, for complex projects we opt for Skype calls. They respond almost immediately and also provided feedback of the project timelines daily.

I selected them and then reselected them over and over and over again for many reasons. First, their work is EXCELLENT and I've used a LOT of different developers over the years.

Secondly, I think of them like my own personal IT staff because they always available.

Thirdly, they're very easy to communicate with, they're responsive and their work is...fast. They meet deadlines. I'm constantly impressed as well at the breadth of their services,..everything from design to custom programming.

I remember working directly with 2 developers/project managers. Possibly others covering, when my main contacts were unavailable.

The deliverable... phone app... has been greatly praised within our company. It saves us hours of office work. And allows us to generate the needed reports directly and immediately from the field. All of our employees and the owner of the company love it. It works great and is exactly what we had hoped for. Simple efficient, user friendly, time saving.

We communicated through the Freelancer chat feature. Communication was always very quick and detailed. We would share screenshots during the debugging process. As well as graphics showing what output was required. The developer also assisted us in deploying the app, since we are very new to this and inexperienced.

I was impressed with all aspects of this company. Communication was SO fast and efficient. Corrections or additions to the app were much faster than I would have expected. All done at predetermined and transparent pricing.

I’m the owner of Lower Cost Calls, and we make it possible for inmates to call home cheaply through VoIP technology.

What challenge were you trying to address with Narola Infotech Solutions LLP?

First off, I had a really nice website and building platform, but I needed to connect my order forms. I then hired this company here in the US to connect my order forms to the building platform. They charged me $400–$500 for the task and it took them forever to do so. I got unbelievably slow-walked and I can’t even remember how long it dragged out.

All that company did was connect the order forms to the website building platform and nothing else. I needed someone to fix and automate what the previous company had left behind.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Narola automated every aspect of my website. From changing phone numbers, calling destinations, and calling plans amongst everything — including the backend to make everything work. The technologies used in the development of this website are WordPress and Drupal.

Narola is also responsible for scraping data and information from jail websites. Using Ruby on Rails, they can identify which inmate has been in jail for at least 14 days, but not longer than 21 days. We acquire this information with the names and addresses, and we mail it out every Monday. This feature is separate from our website, and we call it the mailing list dashboard.

They’re currently working on something right now where if a person refers someone to our service, they get a $15 credit applied to their account. It could also be applied to the new person’s account, or they can choose to have $10 cash sent to them by PayPal.

From the initial engagement to today, a total of four different people have been working on this project.

How did you come to work with Narola Infotech Solutions LLP?

With all the back and forths through email with the previous company I’ve worked with, they messed up and let Narola’s emails slip through. It turns out they had subbed the work out to Narola. As soon as my deal with these people here was done, I contacted Narola and I haven’t looked back since.

At first, I was a bit leery not because they were overseas, but also because I was also fresh to the internet. Narola is in India, and my building platform is in Ukraine, how can you throttle people if they’re not in your own town? What do you do if they don’t do the job right? Nevertheless, it’s been remarkable how I’ve had no problems with anything. It’s all working out like it’s supposed to.

We’ve invested probably just under $15,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

Our ongoing partnership started in March 2019.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

I can’t talk about metrics, because we haven’t opened up the floodgates yet. We haven’t gone full-throttle on the marketing, which is something that we’re actually working on right now.

However, we get good traffic and a steady client base which we’re building upon. Right now, we’re at 250 customers that keep the lights on and allow us to pay the bills.

They perform awesomely. If I send them something today, it’s done by the next day. The communication has also been excellent. I always get emails providing me with updates on the project. Typically, we communicate through emails, phones, chat, and video calls.

What did you find most impressive about them?

What distinguishes Narola from other companies, is their professionalism. When I first started with them, these guys were so cool and trustworthy. I would submit my requirements to them, they’d look at it, and it was formal — it hasn’t been that way for a long time. When I need something done, I lay it all out, and they just do it.

They’re pretty damn professional. They’re on their game, on top of things, always prompt, and they don’t leave you in the dark. The company that slow-walked me charged $135 an hour, while Narola only costs us $15 an hour. That’s like having a super-smart IT employee that’s just down the hall.

My website wouldn’t be what it is if it wasn’t for them — everything I thought of, they made it happen. If you went to our website, you can see that they’ve done an awesome job. 

I can’t say enough about them. They’re reliable, communicative, and everything I have on my website, is what I envisioned. I’ve never given anybody such a glowing review but these guys are awesome.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I don’t really know because they’re doing a great job. Perhaps they could suggest things more since they’re more exposed to technology and different ways of doing things. However, it’s not their responsibility since this is my business, and I only hired them to do what I ask for. It would be greatly appreciated, but that’s not on them.

My advice would just be to hire them. In this other review I did for them, I told people that if they have any doubts, just look at my website. They put everything I wanted on there.

We have more than 5000 downloads and more than 1500 active users.

The communication with Narola team was excellent. Even in times when an urgent feature was added to the workload. We used Asana to help us with the workflow. The team leader of the every team was there in case we needed a call and not once they have delayed to respond.

They were dedicated to the goals and always tried to meet the deadlines. Also any problems that might occur they had surpassed them.
