Introduce your business and what you do there.

My company is called Autogov, and we created and operate that application on WordPress. It is designed to help communities create decisions and provide economic organizing for their future.

What challenge were you trying to address with Mozmene?

We worked with Mozmene to create a two-minute explainer video to describe our company to potential customers.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

I provided them with all of the materials about our company and what we do, and then from there, I worked with a member of their team to create a storyboard. They produced all of the animations based on that work and then presented us with the final product.

What is the team composition?

There were two members of their team who worked on the project with us who helped with the storyboarding and the animation.

How did you come to work with Mozmene?

I initially found them and a few other companies through searching the internet for video providers. From the beginning, they seemed to intuitively understand what was needed and were interested in the work that we do, so we decided to work with them.

How much have you invested with them?

We spent a total of $2,100 on the project.

What is the status of this engagement?

The project ran from December 2019-February 2020.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Right now, the video is up on our website and has taken off on some Reddit forums as well as Facebook, but we are preparing for a larger social media campaign surrounding their work. People love the video, and I have been very satisfied with the quality of their work and how they met all of our specific requirements.

How did Mozmene perform from a project management standpoint?

The project was managed very well. Their communication was always very straightforward and easy to keep track of through email, so I had no issues making sure that everything stayed on track. They did a good job of running everything by me to make sure it was all approved.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Their process is very organized and transparent. Our project was not an easy task, so there was a need for them to balance digging into the job with allowing us to keep creative control over the results and they balanced those two requirements perfectly.

Are there any areas they could improve?

You can always find small stylistic things that could have been different in hindsight, but I don’t think there’s anything I really wish they could change. The whole process was completely transparent and fair.

I’m the founder of Avatar Security, a cyber threat intelligence sharing platform.

What challenge were you trying to address with Mozmene?

They created a new explainer video for us.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Cyber threat intelligence is a relatively new field, so we needed a video to explain it to prospective clients and investors in a simple manner. Mozmene created an animated visual representation of cyber threat intelligence, working with us from the idea generation phase onwards.

They created a storyboard that we reviewed, and then they did a quick turnaround making the video. They made the first draft, we made some changes, and then they gave us the final product.

What is the team composition?

We only worked with Matteo (Founder, Mozmene). He handled everything.

How did you come to work with Mozmene?

We got many responses to our UpWork ad, interviewed 3–4, and then hired Mozmene.

How much have you invested with them?

We spent around $2,500.

What is the status of this engagement?

Work began in October 2019 and we finished in January 2020.

Overall, it was a smooth and informative experience. They provided a lot of great ideas and we picked one.
