We asked Mediacamp to advertise our Streetfair through social media to as many people in our target market. We had a target number of people to reach.

The Streetfair for the last 2 years (2022 and 2023) were a huge success. So many people went to the event.

They are very professional, with creative and out-of-the-box ideas. They were always on time in their deliverables. We had a calendar on what to deliver on certain dates, and there was never a need to follow up or re-do what they delivered.

None that I can think of. They did everything very well. It aligned exactly with how I wanted things to be done.

We hired Mediacamp Digital Marketing Agency to handle our social media and SEO campaigns.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Mediacamp Digital Marketing Agency comes up with social media campaigns for us every month. They create a series of content, stories, and posts and handle the photography-related tasks for these content pieces. They essentially come up with the materials on their own. From there, we tell them if we like the content or want to go in another direction. 

Moreover, they run paid ads using the content. Based on our previous ads, they make recommendations about what ads to run in the future and where to funnel more of the budget. 

The SEO component of the engagement is relatively more recent. They’ve been working on generating backlinks for us to improve our Google ranking. If people search for nearby restaurants, we should be on the list. The team has also recommended what promotions we can run if we want more people to come to the restaurant.

What is the team composition?

We’ve worked with one teammate initially. She’s done all the planning and delegated tasks to other teammates who create content based on what we want. As their company has grown, we’ve been assigned a different account officer. This account officer has been our point person — we tell her what we want, and she coordinates internally how they can execute the tasks.

We’ve invested around 23,000 pesos–$30,000 pesos (approximately $400–$500 USD) per month.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

Our social media campaigns have been successful; a few have gotten a hundred thousand views. We’ve seen a noticeable difference in the number of customers coming to our restaurant before and after the engagement — there has been a greater foot traffic. 

How did Mediacamp Digital Marketing Agency perform from a project management standpoint?

We’ve never had any issues in terms of deadlines; everything has been done on time. For communication, we’ve used Viber and Facebook Messenger. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

Mediacamp Digital Marketing Agency takes care of their relationship with their clients. They ensure we get what we want, and they want to do things the way we request. Moreover, they’re honest — they make recommendations if they think something won’t work. Overall, they always find ways to improve their services. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

There have been a few typographical errors in the posts, so I have to correct those. To be fair, we have a Mexican restaurant, and I’m a Spanish speaker; I don’t expect them to also know Spanish.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

It would be helpful if you had an internal teammate to coordinate everything with Mediacamp Digital Marketing Agency. If not, some things might lag behind, especially if you’re not interacting a lot with the team. They also need information from your side. 

In our case, I’ve dropped the ball a few times. It sometimes takes me a bit longer to get back to the team, and it affects things because they can’t do their best when I mess up. It would have been helpful to them if I had a dedicated teammate coordinating everything.

During the initial phase, Mediacamp Digital Marketing Agency helped us create our hotel's branding. The team took pictures of the hotel and asked about our services, what we aimed to accomplish, and what we wanted the identity to look like. We discussed our vision with the team and how we wanted to be perceived during our meetings. 

Mediacamp Digital Marketing Agency created social media postings for Instagram and Facebook and sent them to us for approval, after which they began posting. Since then, Mediacamp Digital Marketing Agency posts around 2–3 times a week and is responsible for replying to comments. The team has also created other collateral materials for different exhibitions, including an international travel fair held in June 2024.

During the first month, we received many inquiries, even though we hadn't opened yet. The following month, we received more inquiries and confirmed reservations already. From March 2024 onwards, our occupancy rates have been increasing with the help of online travel agencies.

Mediacamp Digital Marketing Agency is the first marketing team I've ever worked with, so I can't compare them to anyone else. The team reaches out to our customers to initiate meetings, mentioning the possibility of our hotel hosting events. Mediacamp Digital Marketing Agency's initiative has strengthened our brand, and I also like their creativity. Coupled with their creativity, Mediacamp Digital Marketing Agency provides data that gives us insights to help understand our audience.

Everything has been running smoothly, and thanks to Mediacamp, we've been able to increase our follower count and engagement. Although our followers haven't increased a lot, they're constantly increasing. Their team is very good at giving us tips on how to do things better, especially regarding social media posting. Overall, the working relationship between our teams is very good.

Every time we have a query or ask Mediacamp for a meeting, they're always there and come to our office immediately. Additionally, whenever we request something or give them instructions, they deliver accordingly right away. On top of that, their team has delivered tasks on time. The most impressive thing about Mediacamp is that every time we ask them to do something, they're always there to deliver, no questions asked.
