I run a company called Harlem S.N.O.B, which is a clothing company.

What challenge were you trying to address with Majority Media LLC?

I needed someone to build my website.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

I was initially working with a different vendor, and I had the bones of the website already structured. It didn’t work out with that vendor, so I hired Majority Media to take over. I sent them the structure, and they built the site from there. The team also integrated Stripe for payments and a chatbot to help customers. All our products are organized and formatted the way I wanted. The site has been launched already, and Majority Media continues to provide maintenance and updates. In addition, they also help with my promotion and advertising. Specifically, they create video ads and digital ads on Facebook and Instagram.

How did you come to work with Majority Media LLC?

I was looking for a minority-owned company. I came across Majority Media, so I gave them a call, and they responded right away. 

How much have you invested with them?

We’ve spent around $5,000. 

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in October 2020, and it’s ongoing.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

I’m satisfied with the site. When someone visits it, the customer is immediately engaged. Furthermore, the Majority Media team has definitely helped me drive more traffic to my site. I do see results, but we haven’t reached our goal yet. However, I understand that this is a marathon and not a sprint. Overall, I’m delighted with the level of knowledge the team provides. I didn’t have time to think about the technical aspects of the development, and I’m confident that they’re doing a great job. 

How did Majority Media LLC perform from a project management standpoint?

Project management is Sean’s forte. He’s very responsive. If there’s something I don’t like, he gives me several alternatives. He also explains to me the pros and cons of the changes we make. To communicate, we primarily use email and phone calls. Sometimes we also use Microsoft Teams and Zoom.

What did you find most impressive about them?

The most impressive thing to me is the level of knowledge they have, especially regarding marketing and advertising. Majority Media has synthesized all three and given me a business model to take me to the next level.

Are there any areas they could improve?

The only thing they could change is their tendency to focus on the complete picture. The team sees the whole forest when sometimes, I want to focus on the tree. Majority Media is always a step ahead, but I need to stay on a specific step to get a complete understanding of it. It’s not really an issue — they’re just such visionaries.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Listen to the team because they know what they were talking about. Additionally, keep them at a pace that you’re comfortable with.
