Despite being based in different countries and taking on this project at a time where travel was not an option, the team did a fantastic job of communicating progress and we met each week via zoom with emails in-between those meetings.

I was looking for help building a new website.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Imobisoft developed our website, which offers politicians in the UK a chance to communicate directly with their electors. Their team designed the site based on pictures I drew of what I envisaged the website to look like. They created digital versions of m drawings and, upon getting my approval, designed the platform.

I spoke with three website developers before settling on Imobisoft. I got along well with the people on their team from the get-go.

Our engagement ran from April–November 2020.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

I like the layout of the site. There are one or two functionality issues, which I’m sure are going to be ironed out soon. 

How did Imobisoft perform from a project management standpoint?

They had average project management skills. Our teams communicated via email and video calls.

What did you find most impressive about them?

I let them take their time, and they produced a quality product. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

They were quite slow at building the website. The quote they gave me said it would be ready in August, although they did say that was an estimate and it could take longer.

Be specific in what you want. Be firm if you have things you definitely want to be included.

What were your goals for this project?

We started a fresh rather than modifying previous editions of our website to enable us to incorporate new features and services.

We had an existing relationship with Imobisoft for the last 4 years.

The website required to have resource elements as we provide a wide range of information to our members. We decided to create a product and member search for consumers and healthcare professionals to allow these groups to utilize our web content and direct traffic to our members, and generate inquiries. Totally refresh the design from a blank piece of paper.

Myself and digital marketing team.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We completed the project and met all the outcomes we planned. The new member sections have increased the interactions with our members and they now send us updates for their profiles.

With Covid-19 we lost all our trade shows which prevented the normal face-to-face promotional activities, but we switched to social media channels to raise the profile. In 2021 if the trade show programs return this work will be continued.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

We have always had good communications with the team, and if there was ever anything that appeared to be lost in translation we would organize skype calls to talk through, which always worked and progressed the project.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

The team is friendly and doesn't suffer from a large corporate feel. It's a personalized service and that's why we have been with them for four years. You buy from people.

Are there any areas for improvement?

Not that I can think of. Anything that we needed changing happened during the normal process of the design, so there was never any part of the process that became an issue or dispute.

I’m the CEO of a software startup. I created a mobile application to send gifts internationally. It’s a gifting system where you can send a credit instead of a gift and the person redeems the credit for something they want. It’s a gifting software application.

I needed someone to help develop my mobile application.

What was the scope of their involvement?

They developed the front- and backend of the mobile app. They used three different coding languages. It was built from scratch for iOS and Android. There are promotion pages, maps, GPS payment methods, and a wallet on the backed. 

There are several different layers to the app. You have the main admin, agents under the admin, and under the agents are the merchants. 

What is the team composition?

We worked with 4-6 people, including a project manager, coders, and an admin.

I found them in a Google search.

How much have you invested with them?

We spent between $100,000–$120,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We worked together from April 2015–October 2018.

They did their job 100%. I tested the application. 

How did Imobisoft perform from a project management standpoint?

They were on time. There was rarely a delay because of them. Project management went well overall.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They’ll find a solution if you’re stuck. They’ll find a way to make something possible. Budget-wise, they’re also more affordable than other companies. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

Initially, I didn’t like the frontend design they provided. I had to tell them exactly what I was looking for and they adjusted it to make it the way I wanted it to look.

Make sure you have a full plan before you get started with them.

What challenge were you trying to address with Imobisoft?

At that time, we were looking for a team to help us with custom software development. A common example is when a customer wanted to put together a software platform with a mobile front end and it required bespoke software development.

They were dealing with a set of data that was difficult to access or had other specific requirements that meant that we couldn’t use an off the shelf solution or even an existing architecture, so we usually turned to Imobisoft for that support.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Imobisoft provided us with various services. Their team delivered mobile application software development on iOS and Android. They produced a web-based mobile application where the solution required is to be platform agnostic.

Imobisoft also created solutions that were browser-based and backend server-based development for us. They created bespoke solutions for us and custom developments. Their team also produced assets and design work for us, too.

The team was good at creating software applications and helped us find solutions. Our engagement was more of a collaborative project because we would often work on the solutions together. Imobisoft became our technical partner then whenever we had projects that needed their in-depth expertise.

We worked with two people from Imobisoft. A team member that handled business-related concerns and the other one focused on technical works.

We knew them because they were a tenant on the campus’ technology park. We met them through networking events that were attended by a cluster of companies.

The outputs delivered by Imobisoft received positive feedback. The relationships they built when delivering these projects were always great. They were great to work with, productive, and everything was delivered as promised.

How did Imobisoft perform from a project management standpoint?

The team was great to work with and the projects were delivered on time. There weren't any issues from a project management standpoint from them. We structured the engagement in a way that made it clear how we would manage the progress and track each milestone.

It was great to bounce ideas on particular problems with the team. There wasn’t anything off the table when achieving a target. They always found a way to tackle a problem or to reach our goal.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Imobisoft was agile, adaptive, and open to discuss issues. They were great problem solvers who could tackle a situation, give feedback, and advise us. Unlike other technology companies who offer a narrow scope of service, Imobisoft was open to trying a different problem but would still say if they couldn't work on a particular project. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

We think they could market their company even more. They’re always busy delivering projects but they should work on promoting themselves and look for more exposure.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Think ahead on the particular projects that you’re working on. Plan for a longer-term relationship with them instead of brief projects. This is important because it would not only allow you to save money, but also sparing you from reworking or changing directions.

I'm one of the operations leads at Innovate Health. Our company deals with innovation within the healthcare technology (healthtech) sector, and most of our clients are related to the medical and healthcare sectors.

What challenge were you trying to address with Imobisoft?

We were working with a client on the development of a product for chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) prediction for early-stage intervention. We needed support to build the software platform.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Our end client provided the project scope and requirements, and Imobisoft has helped us develop the product. We had an initial brief, and Imobisoft helped us finesse the project's requirements and provided consulting. We knew the product's basic specifications, which were to have an early intervention in COPD. We needed to develop a symptom tracker and use that data to help patients predict the movement of their disease. In order to do this, Imobisoft is required to build an AI engine.

Imobisoft has translated our initial information into a software requirements document, designed our product, and built the core infrastructure on .NET. The app's frontend is built for Android and iOS, and the team has also built a frontend website for clinicians to log into. In the backend infrastructure, Imobisoft has built an AI engine hosted on an AWS environment. 

The team is also responsible for managing the project. Imobisoft has launched our product and offers software maintenance. 
What is the team composition?

We've worked with Imobisoft's CTO, who is very much involved in compiling our technical documents. We've also worked with a project manager, a couple of designers, and 4–5 developers, although we only interact with the technical lead. Imobisoft's project manager has been our main point of contact throughout the project. 

How did you come to work with Imobisoft?

We found Imobisoft through Clutch. We had an open process that resulted in two bidders. We asked each company to come and do a presentation, and we selected Imobisoft partly because of their expertise and partly because they were close to us. We wanted to work with a partner who could manage the entire project, including software design and development, instead of working with different companies.
How much have you invested with them?

We've spent around £120,000 (approximately $154,000 USD).

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in February 2023, although we started to have conversations earlier. Imobisoft launched our product in May 2024.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We now have a product that is ready to go to market. Imobisoft has helped us move ahead in our business plan. We hope to be in the market towards the end of this year and generate revenue from the product, which was our project's goal. We're lucky to have chosen the right partners because I had heard bad stories about software development projects.

Working with Imobisoft has been a joint effort because we had an idea of the end product, and the team has helped us clarify requirements from a software perspective. Our requirements have changed at some points because we found additional information, and Imobisoft has made the process easy. Working with one service provider is useful.

How did Imobisoft perform from a project management standpoint?

Imobisoft delivers all the requested work on time and on budget. The team has been very clear about how they manage the project and which features would be developed on each sprint cycle. We've had test phases after each sprint, and the team is honest when things get off plan and take longer, explaining the reasons. Imobisoft manages expectations well and provides solutions for each problem. We have weekly scheduled meetings in a consistent format.

Our budget seems like a lot of money, but it is just a little above our original budget. When Imobisoft delivered the final product, we received what we expected and more.

Are there any employees from the service provider's team that you would like to give a shout-out to in this review?

I want to highlight Atif's (CTO & Founder) work. He has been a consultant in several areas, including business strategy and commercialization. He provided many suggestions early on about the product's usage and marketing strategy. Atif is one step ahead of us and considers aspects we haven't thought of. His advice has helped streamline the development process. 

We've had a few iterations driven by Atif's ability to provide appropriate consultancy, and he's good to see the following steps instead of only focusing on software development.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Imobisoft's project management is one of their biggest strengths. The team sends notes right after each meeting and presents information clearly. Imobisoft makes the technical aspect easy for us to understand when they speak about environments and implementations, presenting information in a diagrammatic format and making it easy for our non-technical staff to understand. 

Imobisoft keeps us informed about the project and is a true expert in software development. We work with the right team at the right time. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

I can't think of anything Imobisoft can improve. Our experience in this project has been excellent. 

Do you have any advice for future clients of theirs?

I suggest letting Imobisoft guide you because they're experts. The team has held our hand and guided us through the process, making us feel safe. I recommend to future customers that if they aren't technical experts, don't hesitate to work with Imobisoft and allow them to direct the project. I also like that we've been involved in the entire process, and the team didn't take our brief and build the product without considering us. 

Imobisoft presents progress in our weekly meetings, and we feel like we've been part of the process from start to finish, which is one of the best things about this partnership.
