We delegated the entire technical part of our project to HK. They developed the application, set up the back-office and all the server infrastructure. Our goal was that they manage all the technical part of our company, they even realized our different websites.

We had a bad experience with freelancers before. The HK agency immediately showed us their professionalism and competence. They were able to give us an opinion on the deadlines and to take the time to understand our project before giving us a quote. When we have to choose an agency, it must be clear and we must feel that the project is understood and will be perfectly carried out, which HK demonstrated to us from our first exchanges.

The HK agency realized the whole application starting from our design pages, they gave life to our photoshop documents! If you want it would take a long time to summarize everything they did for us, but we started with design documents to a native application published in the AppStore and another in the PlayStore. The developers have even accompanied us in setting up the various developer accounts and have always been available to answer our various questions.

They have always been very efficient in fixing bugs or refusing to accept certain updates. They also participated from scratch in the development of a digital book on iPad format, which offers the discovery of thousands of works of art without an internet connection. They also gave us a hand with the UX in order to offer a very qualitative experience. Moreover, it is not to forget that they accompanied us in the creation of all our websites and were also able to help us with the implementation of Google Analytics, the Facebook Pixel ...

The HK agency was available 6/7 to answer our different questions and work on our different feedbacks. There is always a project manager who immediately took the time to understand our needs and desires. The proximity that the agency offers is the key to the success of a project. It allows us to avoid delays and frustration with the vision of an agency that is only partially involved in the project. We could also give direct feedback and ask technical questions to experienced developers, which always allowed us to understand where we were in the project. Our application has been first on AppStore France several times since the first year in the Education category. We were even first once in all categories combined. As far as the PlayStore is concerned, we had similar results, which are quite extraordinary. It is important to note that at that time the application was not free.

What makes us recommend this agency today is that we were always able to exchange very easily and with clear and very fast answers. This is very important especially when you launch a project on Appstore and Playstore because the platforms are different and the whole testing part takes a lot of time and communication is the decisive element. The HK agency allowed us to always feel reassured because we knew that every question we had in mind would be answered and that every detail that needed to be corrected would be done very quickly. Whether by video or chat, the agency is always available to answer us and give us news.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

What impresses me the most today is the quality of the developers and the range of skills they master. Whether it is the implementation of a new system of visualization of images for phones or the creation of a digital book without an internet connection All our projects come to life with the HK Insosoft. That's why, today, we continue to work with them, and why we have no desire to change agencies. Every project we have in mind, every improvement we want is possible.

Using Trello for reporting was a bit difficult at first but we can't blame them because we imposed this tool. Now, we use it on a daily basis and it allows us to know where we are on each ticket and it allows us to save a lot of time in terms of communication and clarity.

HK is very communicative, giving daily reports, continuing to have highest ethical standards, which has been huge for us while growing as a young startup. They really work with you as a strategic partner, in it for the long run, not as a short term job.
