Not only did they build me an amazing website, but they provided so many informational resources, and gave step by step instructions that made me feel more comfortable navigating my site.

I'm not sure how many people were on the team of developers, I only communicated with one person, who was very helpful and attentive during the entire process.

Within a month, and at absolutely no additional cost, I have a great looking website with all the neccessary plugins loaded so that I can run my blog efficiently and securely.

I googled the company and read the testimonials from customers to get an ideal of who these guys were and why I should use them and not a different company. Their website and story as to how they started and why they build websites for free is what decided me to take up their offer.

The first introduction was a video explaining what to expect and what information they would need from me and why. Every step in the process, they emailed me and kept me updated on the progress and what I needed to do.

They explained what bluehost and wordpress was and how to sign up to gain full access. They made recommendations about the various choices of packages on offer. When it got more complicated with pointing the servers to bluehost and calling GSuite, it was all explained in a way that didn't make me confused or overwhelmed.

Sven was the Lead Developer and we worked solely together on emails. The video tutorials were hosted by John Miles.

I haven't yet launched my website.

I got regular emails from Sven every couple of days updating me on their progress or asking me to obtain information from my end. I received instructions via video tutorials which were very helpful and graphics showing the step-by-step process.

They sent me a handover video explaining how to customise the content and a detailed breakdown of all the work.

They have given me a very professional-looking website which is perfect for my business. They were very hands-on, easy to contact and always responded quickly to any queries.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Sometimes communicating on email wasn't always ideal, but they provided forms to input information which made things easier and were always patient in explaining what was needed.

They had an advertisement on Facebook through one of the groups I am a member. I contacted them and they showed me their portfolio and after a brief exchange of emails I decided they were tho proper fit for what I was looking for.

They developed a website from scratch and guided me through every step of the process, including hosting, domain, themes and templates. Everything was done through email with great communication throughout the entire process.

Two people. One was the main contact person and the other was the person that would create the videos (tutorials) for me to follow. I do not know their positions.

The website has not being launched due to internal factors of my practice. In general I am very satisfied with their work and can see that they are very professionals in what They do.

The communications was constant, every two to three days there would be a progress report and they would dedicate time to make sure I would understand every step and made things very easy and clear. Communication was always through email.

Their professionalism and the quality of service and detail they offer was impressive.

At the moment I feel they have everything under control.

The Free Websites Guys sent me several video tutorials to learn how to get my BlueHost Account, fill out a form with my login information, select a theme for my website, record a video with directions and then we had lots of back and forward emails regarding the stage they are at and my modification. Everything went smoothly and I love the fact that they were transparent and let me know what they were currently working on.

I worked with one vendor, Sven, he is a Lead Developer.

I was blown away by the service of the Free Website Guys! Sven was so transparent, guiding me throughout the entire process. I particularly love the video tutorials making it really clear and easy to communicate my ideas with them. He was also always answering my questions within 24 hours, and he was very flexible and understanding despite my busy schedule and my last-minute changes.

At some point, I must admit that I thought it was a scam since it was so good to be true! But here I am now, with a website of quality and I will I've never been able to do it without them. We are sincerely grateful and recommend their services to anyone looking to build a mobile-friendly website. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your outstanding services.

We used Google Drive tools, YouTube, Gmail, and Screencastify (which I did not know about and love!). They always gave me deadlines, they started at the end of July and finish mid-September 2020.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Their ways of communicating with their clients through video tutorials and Screencastify. The process was so smooth and easy thanks to that. I felt that I didn't have to ask any questions because the tutorials were guiding me through it all.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

I would say maybe find a way to have our colors and font embedded already to the website because it takes some time to go over it page by page, section by section. But it's honestly me trying hard to find an area of improvement because their work was outstanding and I know they've spent hours on it and have to deals with several clients.

At the time I was in the process of revamping my own site but I couldn't get it to look quite like I wanted to so I jumped at the chance and responded. I applied and was selected.

Upon being selected, I received an email from Sven with the breakdown of the process. Each step from start to finish had instructions in an email with a video for guidance which was extremely helpful .

I am in the process of adding some copy and photos to my website but I hope to have it all complete within the next couple of weeks.

Once we got started the workflow went very well. Any delay in the project was on my part. As soon as I completed a step, Sven always followed up with the next step. Things flowed at a nice pace.

I was impressed by the level of service and the details that went into designing my website as they are a young agency.

Are there any areas for improvement?

If anything, I would suggest letting potential clients know all potential upgrade costs that may be incurred right up front. In the end, I'm glad I chose to upgrade to have more options for themes so it was worth it.

They completed the project within a reasonable amount of time and I really appreciated the personalized hand-off documentation.

The team did a great job of providing updates and estimated time frames they would need to complete each task. We communicated using gmail.

They were very transparent throughout every step of the development process and even offered free resources for certain website features that we'd normally need to pay a fee or subscription for.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

There were and are still some very minor bugs on the mobile version of the site. During development, they were very responsive to fixing these issues, however it'd be next-level helpful if they perhaps explained or gave resources on how to fix these types of bugs ourselves to save time and make the hand-off even feel more complete.

A big thanks to Sven and the team at The Free Website Guys for making my website and taking me along on the journey with clear guidance and communication all the way. I am not tech savvy at all, which is why I needed their help and guidance. Sven was very good at explaining the pros and cons of different technical aspects in regard to setting up a website. I would never have started this project on my own, but their skills and knowledge made the building of my website a manageable and effortless project for me.

When your website is done, they even provide you with a handover video, showing you how to make changes to your site yourself, which I highly appreciate, as this was an aspect I was concerned about too. I can highly recommend these guys and I am extremely grateful that they wanted to help me!

It came to me as a unique opportunity to start my business idea, so I decided to send them an application with the hope that they will like my idea. A couple of days later, I received a congratulation email that my idea got chosen and we started to work together for roughly two months.
