The scope of work involved designing a website to serve as an author platform. I asked that the site contain Home, About, Books, Events, Resources, and Contact pages. The Free Website Guys provided:

• instruction on how to set up the Word Press interface
• instruction on how to set up all required hosting with Blue Host
• guidance on logo-design and theme sources and pros and cons of paid and free sources
• instruction on recording my design feedback video to guide site development
• development of the site
• free offer of content creation with text reflective of my business to replace default textvideos to explain how to edit the site going forward

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

I have not published any books or games yet. However, the turnaround was quick, and the quality high, so I am confident the platform will attract readers and offer value to them.

The project management was excellent. My main point of contact was very responsive, taking no more than a day or so to respond. The items were delivered on time, and changes required were met with prompt e-mail correspondence and edits to the site.

I was most impressed by the initial offer of designing a website. The friendly and collegial communication were added bonuses.

I did spot a typo and some information I had asked to have removed. They are nothing major, but there could be a final review and minor corrections made before handing off the site.
