We needed help with the redesign and upgrade of our website.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Flow Asia redesigned and reorganised our website. The team also migrated a lot of content from the previous version of the website and added new features, such as video streaming. Flow Asia advised us on the best options that would work both in China and Europe and integrated a third-party service on our behalf. Moreover, Flow Asia coded a full custom theme, created dedicated pages for various categories of posts, and integrated plugins in the custom theme.

We worked with 2–5 teammates from Flow Asia.

How did you come to work with Flow Asia?

Our organization launched a call for tender for the redesign and upgrade of our website. Flow Asia participated in the call for tender and submitted a bid that we evaluated with the other bids we received. Their offer was ranked highest, so we selected them for the project.

What is the status of this engagement?

We worked together from September–December 2022.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Our new website has brought a much higher level of engagement from our target audiences. Flow Asia's work on SEO also contributed to improving organic and direct search results. We also regularly get very positive feedback from stakeholders on the website. User experience has improved immensely.
For our team working in the back office to publish posts of all kinds, the experience is also much better than before.In the year following the launch, the number of new users of the website doubled. Our bounce rate went down significantly, and our average session duration went up. Moreover, several partner organisations asked us for Flow Asia's contact details because they were interested in using their expertise to upgrade their own websites.

How did Flow Asia perform from a project management standpoint?

Flow Asia was very clear on timelines from the very beginning and also explained to our in-house team what would be needed to achieve the results we wanted by the launch date. We had a tight and strict deadline for launch, and Flow Asia's team delivered entirely. We communicated via virtual meetings, emails, and workflow apps.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Flow Asia's team was very willing to involve us at every stage of the project, and their communication was smooth and reliable. We were able to bounce ideas with them on design, content management, and UX. The team listened to our needs while advising us on what would work as we wanted it and what other options we could consider.
